ACORN, and those involved have become toxic, but only for those of US on the right that can connect the dots, and seee through the scam. For those on the left, it has become a rallying cry, and they have used this to their advantage. It has galvanized both camps. I am simply astounded that people on the left refuse to see through the smoke and mirrors. It is utterly amazing.

It falls to total Government control of all business, all wealth, and every aspect of all life.
I am not sure that is true! I know people who have problems with that if presented differently. If a republican senator had been caught try to bring in underage sex slaves into the US they would castrate him themselves these days. And if you told them you wanted to do it they would be all over you. The problem is there is this shield around the left's protection that they cannot break through. Party is all that counts and they see this as potentially damaging the presidency they worked so hard for, that they do not even want to look at it or discuss it. One of my friend just said to me the other day "I am not going to talk about that" when discussing the health care direction (I know she did not like what is going on but she could not talk about it, because she would violate her rule about her party).
Not all people on the left are bad people they have lost their objectivity and cannot see what is happening.

Beck and Hannity refer to that quote often in their broadcasts. Obviously the founding fathers didn't include economics or redistribution of weath in the Constitution for a good reason; government control strikes at the very foundation of liberty. The so-called "capitalist" system is really the economic expression of individual liberty. Individuals exchange goods and services with other individuals to accrue to their benefit. Money in it's various forms is just a convenient way to represent those goods and services. It is impractical to lug around a bushel of wheat to exchange for a bushel of tomatoes. To be a valid exchange medium one must have confidence that the money represents something of value. For centuries that was gold and silver. Then we went to paper backed by other paper. Now we are on some sort of standard backed by electrons. Money has become meaningless. Who is going to fix this? Why, government, of course!
Government is not the solution, government is the problem. An obvious truth to the more intelligent.

I think I'm going to eschew the use of freedom for awhile. I know it is vital but it has been attenuated by the left to mean other things; freedom from (your desire here), freedom to (your perversion here), etc. Think I'll use liberty more frequently in my screeds.
Premise:
The Free Market is the oldest form of commerce on the face of the earth. It has been around since the Mesopetamian Era and is DIRECTLY responsible for the formation of City/States and thus the flourishing of humanity. Without a free market most of all of human culture would not exist.
Communism, on the other hand, is a throw back to the nomadic system that was later put into a theory by an alcohol and drug addicted, unemployed–albeit intelligent–slacker named Karl Marx and then "perfected" by some of the worst offenders of human rights abuse in human history–Stalin, Mussolin, Mao, etc…

I wrote a book called THE CHANGING FACE OF DEMOCRATS, on Amazon as well as my site http://www.claysamerica.com. In that book, I compare 19th century Democrats, beginning with Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, of course, all the way to Grover Cleveland to the 20th century Democrats. The 19th century party was more libertarian than are the current crop who calls themselves libertarians. The 20th century Democrat is in lockstep with Rousseau and Marx, rejecting the Jefferson crowd. They believe, and demonstrate it, that a few elite like themselves should rule the many, like us. Marx, and those like him who condemn capitalism (their word) and individual freedom, say the interests of the community, which they define, are far more important than are the interests of individuals. So, in my studies and comparing the earlier Democrats to the newer ones, I have developed a soft spot in my heart for the Jefferson Democrats of libertarians who fought so hard to retain the sovereignty of individuals, their local governments and the rights of the states that formed the Union. I simply wish we could have them back.
When you have a bunch of Hollywood types making gut-wrenching commercials with hungry children in them saying, "they are poor through no fault of their own" and "we must help our neighbor" etc etc, the smoke and mirrors become fuzzy in the left's minds. They don't realize that through the welfare state the politicians are imprisoning the next generation mentally and physically.
When the sheeples see programs like Extreme Makeover which has been around for years and the community gets together to honor some well deserving heroes, the sheeples think that the cry of "move that bus" applies to all of them. They see in Acorn some last bastion of hope and really don't give a rats ass how corrupt the organization is as long as they get help.
His campaign was all smoke, mirrors and Styrofoam Greek columns.
He is incapable of shedding his old ACORN, community agitator, Chicago politics ways. It's not in him.

The Mass. Bat Colony used a form of MARXISM, long before Karl Marx was even a gleam in his father's eye; heck, long before there was a gleam in his great grandfather's eye.
When that colony began, the program was that everyone would work and that at the end of the day, everyone would get a portion of what had been harvested, according to the family or individual's need, if he wasn't married.

Well, to make a long story short, some colonists worked very hard, some worked a bit, whilst others didn't do anything. When the hard workers saw that all of their hard work benefited those who had done nothing, they were rightfully ticked off and refused to work hard to support the slackers. Unfortunatly, many look at equality enhancing freedom and thier wallet. It makes wealth something that must be shared and if not shared, destroyed. Greed feeds this idealism, and could destroy Capitalism. I think the only way too turn this around is pray. Somehow, we must point out that equality and freedom cannot co-exsist in this perspective. The freedom too exsell will only be hampered like dirty laundry in order too insure all is equal and destroy any profit. This will put the country in a standstill. All can sit at home and be feed by the Gov't why work- you will not better yourself in the name of equality.
