When Peter Schweizer uncovered evidence of insider trading by Republican chairman of the House Financial Services Committee Spencer Bachus (R-AL), and 60 Minutes reported on it, I was the first person to call for Rep. Bachus to resign. That was November 14, 2011. Now, with news that the Office...

This is a country that likes a stand-up guy… but not so-much squirelly shell-game socialists who take advantage of our trust. Obama is the opportunist who mistakes good-faith kindness for weakness… not only do you have to back him off, but it's hard to allow the benefit-of-the-doubt (or to like him much) again after that.
Americans have now awoken, and they smell not only the coffee… but a scam… and they don't like it.
Sadly, in a time that screams for pragmatism and leadership, Team Obama provides little of either…

While I'm glad it never happened from a casualty perspective and it was the result of a major shift in military technology that was inevitable once aircraft carriers were introduced, it's a little sad that the Iowa-class Battleships never squared off against the Yamato and Musashi in the battle they were designed for.
If you aren't familiar with the story, he story of the USS Johnston Engagement of Taffy 3 is worth reading.

Is Barack Obama going to cripple our healthcare system?
Why yes! Yes, he is. For he's:
PRESIDENT THALIDOMIDE

I think the most important story of the day, is the Whiye House trying to shut FOX News out of the Whgite House Pool yesterday, when interviewing Pay Czar Feinburg,
Smell the coffee?
What you really smell is fear in the air………….
my dad was n the intrepid … my grandfather was a merchant marine ….Love them both ….rumor is Obama is waiting till after the NJ and Virginia elections to make a desison.. I hoep not but only one can tell…
Good day everyone…
David Brooks of The New York Times says “President Obama’s huge success in education reform has been overlooked.” Is David Brooks deaf? Didn’t he hear Obama’s Rap and human beat box performance Obama did at his children’s ELITE PRIVATE SCHOOL.
Ah…. because I know children like him and her
thru rap they find it easier to learn
I am going to bust these rhymes with no teleprompter
Hey, I am Barack Obama and I am here to say
In this private school is where you must stay
In Chicago Public Schools
they’re actin the fool
kids ending up dead
With a board to the head….
Hey, I am Barack Obama did you hear what I said
with the teachers union
You know I am in bed…..wicky, wicky, wicky break it down… Boom chish, Boom chish…..
I am saying no to school choice With all the strength I can muster
I’ll give the children a choice between being a Black Discipline and a four corner hustler….
Competition in health care
Is what I am about.
But, when it comes to education
I’ll sell your inner-city butts out Boom chish, Boom chish…..
If you conservative,
Republicans,
Don’t like what I rhyme
You can kiss my black,
my white
my no child left behind. Boom chish, Boom chish…..

Awesome picture. It represents everything this current administration is not: Strong, free, decisive, proud, defiant, steadfast, unbowed… In short, American!
Every time I think of the story of 'Taffy 3' and the shear bravery and bravado of the men involved I get shivers down my spine.
These were real heroes, these were real men.
Commander Evans is the best example of selfless sacrifice I can think of. The image of the wounded commander standing aft of his ship shouting orders down a hatch way because his command bridge had been obliterated, who turns to a passing ship and salutes with the wrong hand because his other arm was shattered brings an upwelling of emotions for me.
The Story of a small group of ships that held off the biggest and the best the enemy could offer is something we should teach our kids, but these tales are glossed over in the quest for PC perfection.
God bless the fighting men and their tin cans.
IT IS THE SOLDIER
It is the Soldier, not the minister
Who has given us freedom of religion.
It is the Soldier, not the reporter
Who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the Soldier, not the poet
Who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the Soldier, not the community organizer
Who has given us freedom to protest.
It is the Soldier, not the lawyer
Who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is the Soldier, not the politician
Who has given us the right to vote.
It is the Soldier who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag,
Who allows the protester to burn the flag.
While not an image from the actual battle itself (that’s battleships USS Pennsylvania and Colorado entering Lingayen Gulf in January 1945), all
those ships fought in the Suriago Strait action in this battle, the last time battleships faced each other, ending an era. Five of the six battleships involved were at anchor in Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.
My father-in-law was in the Pacific from Midway to Japan, and like so many of the veterans of Leyte Gulf, and the other battles in the Pacific Theater, what heroes this country has and still produces. God bless them all!
We should thank a veteran of all wars everyday for the freedom we so enjoy and too often take for granted. Stand up and support them and don’t be so willing to give up all they fought and died for.
Speaking of Veterans,
There is a reunion going on this weekend. It is being billed as the last Ranger Reunion. Of the Rangers who were in World War II.

I agree. If you can find it anymore all schools should show "VICTORY AT SEA" along with it's magnificent musical score. I watched this as a child then it disappeared. I believe it is in 4 parts and I found Part #1 on CD at at a Wal Mart check out for one dollar. Greatest Heros of our time including my brother who spent 4 years in the Navy in the Pacific in WWII. Can anyone find where we can get all 4 parts? This should be a MUST SEE for ALL STUDENTS. God Bless All our Brave Military Heros, Past and Present…….
Gee, why am I not surprised, the big story on Obama on CNN's website today is the White House releasing the Obama family portrait. Is it any wonder the MSM ratings are in the terlit.
The Entire Administration is one Big Horror Show. I heard the Big Decision was made to deploy 40,000 troops to Attack FoxNews. They just can't wait to Steal our Free Speech, Fox News, Talk Radio,Internet. He will say you have Free Speech, But you must agree with Me. We had the Wise Guys show up to state that Fox New is not a Real news station, I dont believe they are Real Human Beings. Please Contact your elected officials,DO SOMETHING!!! If they pull the plug on Free Speech, What Will You Do???
I have a small, but true story, about this gynormous battle in the south seas.
At 17 years old, my now 82 year old Dad was too young to enlist in the U.S. Military during the early part of WWII.
So, he joined up with the U.S. Merchant Marines, that sailed throughout the Pacific delivering the much needed supplies to our Army and Marines.
He worked down in the boiler room of the ship, shoveling coal into red hot boilers.
When attacked, he had to run all the way from the bowels of the ship to the fresh air of the 20mm AA guns on deck.
His job was to grab the fresh shells from the loader and push them into the ammo carrier of the gun.
On the first day of the battle, while loading his 20mm, the gunner suddenly swung the barrel around trying to track a Kama Kazi plane heading for the ship.
It bopped him along side his head and knocked him overboard into the sea.
For the next 30 hours or so, (with hungry sharks swimming just a few feet from him), he watched the rest of that great battle waging all around him.
He was eventually plucked out of the drink by a British war ship and delivered back to his ship…where he was immediately reprimanded by his Skipper for “Leaving the ship without permission”.
I’ve always loved that story about him.
This one’s for you Pop.
Not Over.
I just saw a video of Keith Olbermann and a(nother) homosexual misogynist (aren't they all…), tearing into Carrie Prejean. I admit I missed it at the time. I'm wondering why this man has anything to do with the NFL (nevermind being on TV at all) and why the boyish Rachel Maddow constantly defends him – oh, er, yeah, feminism isn't about females in the same way Marxism isn't about losing chains and homosexuality isn't actually about same-sex attraction – it's about hate and fear of the complimentary other.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZK_0vmoIPI
Time to come out of the closet Keith and seek the deep Psychotherapy appropriate to your (homosexual) female-hating pathology.
So what you're saying is, a cable channel that "isn't a legitimate news source" out performs all the "real" news channels COMBINED?
Uh huh.
Sounds to me like Obama is sucking up to the wrong guys. But then, we knew that.
Junior is exactly right!! DO SOMETHING!!!! Be silent and be silenced forever!!!!!!!
Amen Ma'am.
Thank you for raising a child who knows the true value of freedom, and who is serving our country, keeping my self and my family free.
Thank you for your support. And know, and take comfort in that there are kids out there courageously fighting, putting their lives on the line, for human decency's sake, the brightest and the best that humanity has to offer. Enjoy – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOIwl5G9lRo

What a great Video on the financial collapse

Brooksley Born
The diapered six year old shemale metrosexual tantrum addict we have as president was summarily biatch-slapped by the MSM when the WH attempted an ouster with the exclusion of Fox News. The WH has, once again, tried and lost a divisive attempt to corral the MSM AGAINST Fox. And they lost…big time…a dozen eggs upon their faces. It is more than unravelling now…. I wonder how long Rahm and Axelrod have…
That picture makes Americans proud. Where have we gone ?
And the White House pool stood behind Fox!
Isn't that simply amazing?
The White Hous Pool finally realized, that if FOX was gone today, THEY would be gone tomorrow. That is how serious this is.Our Republic is hanging by a thread, and nobody is even talking about this. I am utterly dumbfounded by it.
I found all four parts of "Victory At Sea" on DVD at Walmart for a dollar apiece. An unbelievable buy. Couple of years ago.
Though the sea battle in Leyte Gulf was the last time battleships faced each, with Americans "crossing the T" of the Jap battle (thereby bringing all guns to bear on 1 Jap ship at a time) the more important story of Leyte is lessor known.
Get thee to a bookstore or library and buy or check out "Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors".
Read about the day that 7 Tin Cans and Destroyer Escorts took on the Yamamoto (the largest battleship ever built) and a major Japanese surface fleet.
Wakin up one morning the men of Taffy 3 (7 Escort Carriers – little carriers designed for landing support – not fast fleet carrier) found a Jap fleet bearing down on them because a mistake by Halsey left the escort carriers supporting the landings unprotected.
In the ensuing battle the D's and DE's charged the Jap fleet getting close enough to launch torpedos thereby slowing the Japs down. The escort carriers launched their planes and ran for cover, the Japs getting so close that the single 5 inch gun on the tail of each carrier was able to engage (and score hits) on the Jap cruisers.
The American flyers strafed the Jap ships (sometimes without ammunition even shooting their .45's out of the cockpits).
Amzaingly, only 1 carrier was sunk by surface fire (1 also succumbed to a kamikazee later that day) and several of the D's and DE's survvied while inflicting serious damage on the Jap who eventually withdrew.
The best story I've ever read, and I think the finest hour of the US Navy.
Homos are free to hate whomever they want, but you cant hate them. YOu have to accept them but they dont have to be tolerant. Its what makes liberal ideology so special.
In the market place of ideas, radio, books, fox news, conservatives thrive and spineless libs whine and beg for govt. money cause its just unfair. No wonder these socialist turds hate the free market, and make statements like "we all know free markets are a lie" and these people went to college, its frickin unbelievable, no matter how much you point out their irrarionality their weak minds are terrified of being wrong, can some psychologist explain to me what is wrong with these people.
Even better is the "Dog Fights" episode on the History channel. I believe it was "Death of the Imperial Japanese Navy" You might find it on YouTube.
Captain Earnest E. Evans is the MAN! If we could find a leader with one tenth of one percent of his stones, nobody could beat us.
How much Punishment should the Private Sector & the American People have to Endure??? Some of our elected officials need to stand up & say STOP. Someone needs to be thrown out of office by his BIG EAR!
I watched the last half of Olberman's show two nights ago. There were four commercial breaks with seventeen commercials. He had some poseur on as an accomplice to his screed. I wrote down all the sponsors, none of which I patronize. I don't boycott them; I just have no use for them. Principal Financial; not interested. U.S. Bank; that's in New Jersey? Subaru; I prefer Ford. New Dove Body Wash, Rod Stewart LP, etc.
Olberman is a caricature, who stridently reads diatribes filled with made up facts and ad hominems. I can't recommend him, but if one likes commercials, the show gets two thumbs up.
My Grandfather was a sailor on the USS Gamiber Bay which was sunk during the battle of Leyte Gulf. He spent his 19th birthday taking turns swimming alongside a raft too full to carry all the sailors that it had to accommodate. He was always a hero of mine, the epitome of the honest, hard-working American Family Man. His whole life he was a Democrat, back when it was "the party of the Working Man." He died from cancer two years ago. I can't help but wonder what he would have to say about our current President and America's decline into the "Give Me" society that it is today.
When I think of all these BRAVE men I cannot forgive Obama standing on French Soil berating America for being "Arrogant" and selfish. What he did not say was the very soil he was standing on Contains 11 Military Cemeteries in France, 3 in Belgium, 3 in England, 2 in Italy, 1 in Luxemborg, 1 in the Netherlands, and 1 in in Tunisia North Africa. Is this "Arrogance? The ONLY thing America asked for was places to bury our Honored Dead. The only Arrogance I see is in Obama. These Honored Dead represents True America. I toured the Iowa Class Battleship which is now a Museum in New Jersey I get Chills Remembering all those Pacific Heros that served in the Pacific Including My Brother who served 4 years in ihe Pacific with the US Navy during WWII .Even the Cooks were Heros . God Bless them All, Past and Present. To me Obama is not an American and because of this we truly DESPISE him!
Left out: The Battleship is the USS New Jersey, Magnificent Ship.
Love the picture! Back when America was the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave! I hope I live long enough to see those days return! 10 to 1, Obama doesn't even know what the Battle of Leyte Gulf was about, when it happened or who participated in it.
I thought the Constitution guarantees Free Speach.
Thanks to the Merchant Mariners. without them our forces would have not been sucessful. Many were sunk and died and are part of our American Heros. God Bless Him……..
Tin Cans were just that. Fast, small, No Armor. True Heros to attach the Yamato et al. small ships taking on the Giants of the sea. Thank you to all the "Tin Can Sailors" , we will always be proud of you and your courage!
Philly Mike, You're right the constitution does give us the right to voice our opinion but that right is being threatened by the our wonderful president who wants to silence anyone who doesn't agree with his socialistic agenda forever. He swore to defend that very constitution but who is going to defend it from him?
My Grandfather served on ocean tugs in the South Pacific. After the war he commissioned in the Air Force. I too, grew to love the sea and am now studying to me Merchant Marine Officer at the Texas Maritime Academy.
In World War II, per capita, more merchant sailors were lost than in any other service.
Service Number serving War Dead Percent Ratio
Merchant Marine 243,000 9,521 3.90% 1 in 26
Marines 669,108 19,733 2.94% 1 in 34
Army 11,268,000 234,874 2.08% 1 in 48
Navy 4,183,466 36,958 0.88% 1 in 114
Coast Guard 242,093 574 0.24% 1 in 421
Total 16,576,667 295,790 1.78% 1 in 56
The Merchant Marines are the supply line of the Armed Forces as well as the lifeblood of the modern global economy. Not until recently were Merchant Marine Veterans of WWII granted VA benefits… Our role in the world is largely invisible.
