Mike Flynn Doesn’t Care About Old People…

Last night, Big Government Editor-in-Chief Mike Flynn was on CNBC’s “Kudlow Report” along with Miller, who is also a columnist and talk show host, to discuss the potential economic impact of ObamaCare and it’s various provisions:
Kudlow first asked the guests whether or not Obama is attempting to buy support from senior citizens by extending them multiple billions in bonus dollars.
Compare and contrast:
From Mike Flynn’s opening line: “It’s like we’ve turned into Venezuela. We’re just gonna pick voting blocks and send them checks.”
From Matt Miller of Center for American Progress’ opening line: “What do you guys have against senior citizens?”
Miller, ever the charmer, continues to say that Flynn and Kudlow lack compassion for seniors.
Saying conservatives have something against seniors conjures up images of former DNC Chairman Howard Dean, who famously said, “Our moral values, in contradiction to the Republicans’, is we don’t think kids ought to go to bed hungry at night.” Looks like Miller pulled out a page straight from Dean’s playbook. We’re not sure it paid off for him here…

Sure there is a point… It's a very simple question. One pundit responds that it is a political bribe for a vote. The LIBturd as per usual avoids the question and snerks that conservatives "hate" seniors. Right out of the liberal play book. Disgusting. Seniors know better !

It is a huge leap to claim that because someone is against handing out a one time payment of $250.00 to the elderly that that person doesn't care about old people. Sounds like more psychological projection to me. (Deep medicare cuts !??)
Unfortunately that tactic has worked very well for the dumbocrats over the years, it has become one of their standards.
And if we can "afford" to send them an extra $250 check, then why can't we "afford" to just give them a $20 a month cost-of-living raise?

Most seniors pay $200 a month for health insurance adders … So I doubt it makes any senior say 'that's going to make me go for the "kill granny" health care bill'.

This video put a face to the name Mike Flynn for the first time, for me. You did a great job making your points, given that the format doesn't allow for in-depth discussion.
