John Brown is quite a controversial character, no?

I mean, what he did ultimately moved the nation closer to civil war, which was probably the only way we were going to eliminate slavery, but even Lincoln wasn't really a fan of Brown. Its quite an interesting painting at the top of the page, though. I wouldn't mind hanging it in my house.

Anybody else disgusted by Anita's constant lip-smacking sounds? It must be some sort of liberal trick to distract people from her words because I began losing track of what she was saying and soon started feeling queasy from the sounds. Did her mother never teach her any manners? Yech! Someone needs to tell her to find a better hair colorist, too. Do all lib women just TRY to look as ugly as possible? John Brown (May 9, 1800 – December 2, 1859) was an American abolitionist, and folk hero who advocated and practiced armed insurrection as a means to end all slavery. He led the Pottawatomie Massacre in 1856 in Bleeding Kansas and made his name in the unsuccessful raid at Harpers Ferry in 1859.

I think John Browns cause was just, he wanted to free human beings who were held in bondage. isn't that American? Many people died in the founding of America, greatest country in the world. We still help people all over the world who seek freedom and people die in this struggle against tyranny. Death to tyrants!
