Mr. James, The Constitution mandates Congress to pay for the army and navy in Article 1 section 8. And it gives them the power to tax to finance those expenses. Are you saying that the military should solicit donations from the citizens instead of allowing congress to pay with our taxes? The US government is mandated to "Provide for the common defense" in the preamble of the Constitution. How are they to pay for it if not through taxes? You are comparing apples and oranges. The federal government has stepped beyond the scope of their power in providing mandatory healthcare. The reasoning is found in the 10th amendment, it is a power that is reserved for the states or the individual.

Socialism is when the govt. owns and controls the means of production… It's not socialism when the government provides services, like the postal service, or the military, or law enforcement. The govt. is not producing cars… oh wait. Hmmm. perhaps Mr. Obama and liberal democrats are closet socialists?

Here it is… If you don't have health insurance because you say you can't afford it then no matter what obama care does you probably will still not be able to afford it. If you are that broke, a tax credit doesn't do you any good because you don't pay any taxes. If your employer does not provide it, will you be willing to spend your hard earned $ to purchase it? You have not so far so why would you do it with obama care? Unless it would really knock down the cost. So now you are going to fine me if I don't have it…. good luck collecting . You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink….. Now, lets say I am an insurance company. I operate to earn a profit for the shareholders. Now all of a sudden I have to ensure everyone. Well, that's ok, but I still have to make a profit, and since I now will be paying more claims for all the sick people I have insured, I have to do something. So I will have to raise premiums and fees to help cover the cost, but no I can't raise the premiums and fees because Obamacare has set a limit on what we can charge. So…… MMMMmm…… you know we will just get out of the Health insurance Business. What's the use of working if you can't make a profit… So now all those companies that we provided insurance for are now without…. where do those people go… soon no insurer will want to cover anyone….and hence…. single payer is here… don't be fooled with the big plan obama wants.

some factual corrections to these statements:
~ Their healthcare is not "free." as you state. It is compensation from their employer, just as many of us receive health care insurance from our employers.
~Also, their meals are not "free." Once again, this is compensation for doing their job.

You didn't state this, but another benefit of serving in the military is the opportunity of a college education. These things are not socialism, but "fringe benefits," which many employers use to attract employees. It is inaccurate to compare employees of the United States government with welfare recipients. Doing a job and getting paid for it is not socialism nor is it welfare. I know people who have joined the military to receive health insurance or a college education, but that's what people do in a capitalist system. Many of these benefits were added because people realized that our soldiers were not being compensated fairly for their work and the risk involved in that work.

My iphone is jailbroken I downloaded applications using installous, but whenever I sync with iTunes I lose my new appications. I have other applications that were downloaded through installous and they do not get removed. Is there a setting to fix this?
