Those who really make peace — Reagan, Eisenhower, the crew of the Enola Gay, even Nixon — and those who help keep most of the world at peace, and liberate millions of people from Tyranny — the US Military, George Bush — would NEVER get this “peace” prize. Only these phonies.

Today we hear from the DNC that those on the right unsupportive of The Obama are compared to Terrorist Taliban and Hamas. I thought the left had outlawed the use of the word “terrorist”? Except only in cases where it inures to their warped and twisted benefit.

In his eight years in office Ronald Reagan changed the world; in his eight short months in office Obama changed the Country, and the world will never be the same again.

They must have used communist definition of "Peace": Furtherance of the Socialist/Communist goals.

If you look at who gets the Nobel Prize…Obama is a perfect candidate. Far left of left, and a progressive's progressive.

The prize derived from gunpowder has been hijacked from it's original intent almost one hundred years ago.

It is an amazing new Bizzaro World we now live in. I, like many Americans am conflicted.
The adult in me is afraid to turn on the TV or the radio, or look at any online news in the mornings for fear of what new Government program or Socialist Agenda has been advanced upon US throughout the night. I totally expect some day in the not too distant future that when I turn the TV on, there will be simply be a still photo of The Obama on every channel, with state sponsored muzak and a caption which reads "Stay tuned, newz tomorrow……"

On the other hand, the eight year old boy still inside me can't wait to get up in the morning. Every day now is like Christmas morning. I simply can't wait to hear the newz, get online and see what imbecilic headlines await. Hope and Change? Hope and Change we can believe in? Obama is the gift that keeps on giving, and he never ceases to amaze US. He is the gift that keeps on giving

Global politics is just a larger version of politics we see here in the US. Liberals (and RHINOs) undermine the free market system , insert regulations to payoff groups and push their own warped agendas and then when their interference causes massive displacement in the free market scream from the rooftops about how free markets are the problem.

In the same way global liberal elites sit back and allow great commanders-in-chief like Reagan and George W protect their asses from evil dictators and then scream from the roof tops (or with handing over the Nobel Peace Prize to a weak commander in chief) about how the ones who keep them free are ones that are the cause of all the problems in the world.

While the US soldier fights real evil in the world–they are secretly wetting their pants while denouncing strength–they just wish they had one ounce of the greatness of a man like Reagan. They are really nothing but cowards.

THEY are considering a 2nd "stimulus". Here's an idea or two….how about repeal the 1st "stimulus" and revamp it to include tax cuts and loans to small businesses OR use the remainder of the 1st "stimulus" to affect job creation. Are the IDIOTS in congress claiming the 1st "stimulus" did not work and they need a 2nd? If so, why would they think a 2nd "stimulus" would work? There will be considerably more resistance to the 2nd "stimulus" than the 1st.

The Conservative movement better get organized and get a plan. The "cereal box" prize is meaningless. All the socialists did was flip us the finger and the jesture probably paid for by Soros and Co. I think Huckabee was right. We have to stop whining about all the small stuff and focus on the main objective: monetary control of this country and ultimately, total control of it's people.

The socialists have been planning this for decades and we have been blindsided. The healthcare bill, the cap and trade are all necessary beginnings for them to achieve their goals. This will be only the tip of the iceberg, so lets get rolling and make sure that 2010 counts in the polling booths. Otherwise, the people of Honduras will be sending us "instructions" on how to liberate ourselves.

If you look at the photo in the article, it is a photo of Nobel Peace Prize winner Barrack Obama, placing the Presidential Medal of Freedom on what appears to be an old man. That old man is Joseph Medicine Crow High Bird, last War Chief of the Crow Nation.

He lives at Crow Agency, Montana, and is a scholar, historian, lecturer and was a Warrior. He was the first Crow to ever attend college, and he has addressed the United Nations.

One honest, forthright and dedicated person can bring America back to its roots.

How?

Take an HONEST oath to reject all forms of corruption and expose those politicians who are involved in corruption. (Because this person is human…they will have violated the rules already) We will never find a perfect person but there must be one who is sick and tired of the corruption within their own political party and within their own organization and determine to stop it.

Take an HONEST oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. I stress “HONEST” because they have already taken that oath, but have not upheld it HONESTLY.

This person will probably have to already be a leader within their party in order to get attention and support to get this started. Maybe Sarah Palin could be the one. Maybe Devin Nunes, Representative from California could be the one. Maybe Mitt Romney could be the one. Somebody can do it…we just have to find them and support them.

This person should have Judeo/Christian values, but they do not have to be a blazing born-again Bible thumper…in fact probably should not be such. We are a Christian nation but each individual’s relationship with God is private and is their relationship based on their experiences and choices. We are tired of the public outcry about where the Ten Commandments are posted or where prayers are said. Let each individual worship as they understand. No restrictions…no requirements.

Maybe we need a “grace period” during which the “confessions” will not be prosecuted. After a certain date the exposure will become public and all of America will become aware of who they are and what corruption they have done. I believe the American people are forgiving, but we are fed up with these corrupt politicians and their devious ways going on day after day.

Now, let’s go find one person to lead in this reformation!

I agree about Huckabee and his coom-ba-ya attitude. My point was that all these things like the "prize" is a dstraction from what really happening behind the scenes. Like obama stoppping drilling in Utah on 60 sites because he doesn't want this country energy independent. THIS to me is more important to our country's future.

That said, think about the fabulous Halloween costume idea those Nobel guys have given us here! Imagine Barack Obama, dressed up as the Joker with a Nobel Prize hanging around his neck. Priceless! I'm pulling it together now for a party next weekend:

Yes, but the thing is you cannot argue issues with liberals, because they always fall back and stand in their self-righteousness, do-gooderness. While discussing with my husband the fact that Clinton had been left out of the party, he said "well, it's the Nobel Peace Prize, not the Nobel Piece of A** Prize."

I was a Docent at the RRPL/M in Simi Valley, CA when President Reagan passed away. Even my liberal neighbors were lined up (some all night long) to pay their respects to him. A GREAT man.

I was thinking along the same lines. The answer to this question should be quite revealing: Would you rather be a person who secured billions of dollars for combating AIDS in Africa and be reviled and hated, or be an unaccomplished noob with the Nobel Peace Prize?

The Nobel Committee has succeeded temporarily in getting us to take our eye off the ball.

Time to forget this Nobel farce and get back to what really matters: Stopping our Congressunits from destroying our economy and forcing us into socialized medicine, giving Afghanistan back to the Taliban, burdening our children with "Cap and Trade," and letting ACORN and the other Mafia families take over our country.

I'm sure President Reagan is rolling over in his grave with the state of affairs in our country right now.

Here is a true peacemaker. He ended the Cold War – a war between the two world super-powers, a war between two wealthy nations with nuclear weapons. And he did this without one bullet being fired or one casualty.

Many of his decisions were passionately criticized and seen as irrational, but he made them from his conscience. He made decisions based his personal understanding of right and wrong, not by being a moral relativist or a pacifist. They were not based on what the public or the world thought of him.

I grew up during his presidency and I never learned even one song about the President Ronald Reagan, mmm, mmm, mmm.
