It’s On! California To Investigate ACORN. And O’Keefe?

Attorney General Jerry Brown’s office has opened an investigation into the controversy surrounding videos that purportedly show members of community organizing group ACORN giving advice on how to open a brothel.
In a letter to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger dated Sept. 25, Chief Deputy Attorney General James M. Humes said the office has “opened an investigation of both ACORN and the circumstances under which ACORN employees were videotaped.” The governor had asked Brown two weeks ago to look into the incidents.
The probe was sparked by a series of hidden-camera videos in which a couple posing as a pimp and a prostitute are advised on how to set up a prostitution business by people identified as workers for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. The videos were taken in Washington D.C., San Diego, San Bernardino and cities in several other states.
Members of the organization are also under investigation in other states for alleged irregularities in registering voters.
Schwarzenegger issued a statement praising Brown’s decision to investigate. “I am outraged and deeply concerned by these allegations,” the statement said. “If these reports are true, they warrant prosecution under the fullest extent of the law.”

Let me get this straight. California is investigating ACORN for what was on those videotapes and then they are turning around and investigating the videotapers? Funny but I’m in my late 40’s and remember all through my childhood and up that the taping of perps w/o their knowledge was standard operating procedure for 60 Minutes? By Jerry Brown’s logic Mike Wallace, Morley Safer et al should be investigated in a perp class action lawsuit then shouldn’t they? Like most organizations, ACORN is a mixed bag. On one hand, in Chicago, ACORN is a group that attempts to organize some of the most depressed communities in the city. Chicago organizers for ACORN and organizers for SEIU Local 880 have been given modest monthly recruitment quotas for new New Party members. On the other hand, like most groups that depend on canvassing for fundraising, it's easy enough to find burned out and disgruntled former employees. And ACORN has not had the reputation for being interested in coalition politics — until recently and, happily, not just within the New Party.
Naturally, Barack Obama was an active part of ACORN at the time, helping it legally in court and helping it organize voters. By 1996, ACORN and the New Party were essentially the same body. Along with the Democratic Socialists of America, the New Party endorsed Barack Obama in his State Senate bid.
Obama began seeking the New Party endorsement in 1995. The New Party required candidates who received the endorsement sign a pledge of support for the party. Obama did not need to support a party that was, in effect, a front group for communists; yet he still chose to. The July issue of the New Ground noted that 15% of the New Party consisted of Democratic Socialists of America members and a good number of Committee of Correspondence members.

Two detectives (1 from a human trafficking task force) and the National Police Department have given statements that the San Diego ACORN employee did report Giles and O'Keefe as potential criminals. O'Keefe posted a transcript of the San Bernadino video that has the ACORN representative stating "ACORN won't let you do this" but those statements were missing from the video proving (thanks to O'Keefe himself) that he lied about editing the videos and the two hacks lied about the LA ACORN office visit and conveniently won't release that video or videos similar to it. Giles and O'Keefe broke the law when it comes to taping without consent and the National PD still has a file open on them concerning their underage sex trafficking and prostitution scheme.
Remember, he is married to a Kennedy. That woman probably has his balls in a deathgrip on this one. This message is for Maria, "Let Mr. Schrivers balls go so he can act tough on this one."

The CA investigation couldn't come at a better time with Polanski in the news. Pedophilia and child prostitution, both in CA. Lefties are getting a backbone on Polanski. There is a backlash against "it wasn't rape-rape" from Hollywood.

The unedited videos are a little long and boring, but they are available if you want to see them. Get off it…ACORN is guilty and that is the simple and clear truth. Keep your eyes on BOTH the organization and the people. If the organization folds too easily, it'll be because the organizers have redirected their efforts to the next shell game.

Impossible to say what Arnold thinks Jerry "Governor Moonbeam" Brown is up to, but the phrasing makes it clear that Brown intends at least to pursue the people who exposed ACORN's scandal. The part about investigating ACORN itself may be nothing more than a promise to "find" they did nothing wrong.
