ACORN Plot Found, Oklahoma GOP Says

A Republican state legislator released documents Tuesday which he says show the community-organizing group ACORN focused on helping Democrats in three legislative races in the November 2008 election and had developed a game plan to “take power” in Oklahoma within five years.
The documents, which include legislative district maps and various forms, were recovered from computers abandoned by ACORN workers in Oklahoma City, said Rep. Mike Reynolds, R-Oklahoma City. Also found was a script apparently used in Houston to go door-to-door to encourage voters to vote for Barack Obama in November 2008.
“They say they’re not political, but one of the subdirectories was called political action plans,” Reynolds said. “It was their political plans to take over key targeted races in Oklahoma City to show how powerful they are.”

It's funny that you mentioned leaving computers behind…….reminded me of a park in Denver last year before the convention. The place was trashed!! Plastic cups, plates, pizza boxes, etc. Red and white checkborard picnic – plastic tablecloths. Overflowing the trash cans onto the sidewalk. And lo and behold, Obama meeting signs. It struck me as a bit hypocritical as the convention was to be green, green, biodegradable cups, etc. and here was this nasty leftover mess from a Big O rally for the minions.
So when does the FBI shut this criminal enterprise down.

This is the big story, not the O'Keefe/Giles investigation (although this would never have happened without them). ACORN pretending (badly) to not be political and only interested in helping the poor, while really being nothing more than a Union for Democrats (with all the bad things that implies). They've been flagrantly violating the election laws for years and it's about time someone found something to really push back on.
The legal case keeps on getting stronger dots are being connected and yet not a peep out of Justice Department. When laws are discarded so is Democracy.
Is anyone really surprised? There will be more that will breaks from this, the problem is getting the powers that be investigating it like it should be. Where is Congress when there truly needs to be a probe? They are more concerned about investigating Wall St. Exec's, car companies, banks, insurance companies, baseball players…Oh I forgot, it is their team so they can forgive this mess!

Obama to announce $5 billion from stimulus for NIH

The National Institutes of Health is getting $5 billion in economic stimulus funds to support research into cures for cancer and other diseases, and to create jobs.
This will finance some 12,000 existing projects Obama says. So we need to know now that we have wised up, just who is running these projects? Will the "jobs" created in this project involve people being forced to join UNIONS? Some how I am sure they will.
Like I said yesterday, EVERY BILL before the senate and congress needs to be THROWN OUT and re-written without all of the corrupt non profits. The STIMULUS bill written by applol needs to be given back to the tax payers, and re-done. This is all corrupt, and there should be NOTHING passed until they are cleaned up!

ACORN would never make it here long enough to do anything, I'm from Oklahoma and it's mainly old retired conservatives and oil field hands. We hate the left, just as much as they hate us. This should not come as a surprise to anyone paying attention. Progressives began routinely trying to steal elections wherever there was enough entrenched corruption in the form of local politicians, unions, etc. Over the years they have evolved these techniques into full blown conspiracies violating numerous moral or ethical precepts upon which our laws are based.
The key driver here is size and scope of government. The bigger government is allowed to get, the more taxes it collects and the more opportunities there are for well organized groups to feed at the "preferred" trough. Our society would do well to consider eschew leading indicators of corruption: community organizations funded by tax dollars, unions supporting political candidates, ANYONE in government offering to make your life better for starters.
At the end of the day, life is great but it is also sometimes difficult. The is no earthbound utopia, especially delivered by governments that deny human nature. Government programs destroy lives and ambition in so many ways. Get over it! Find a way to reduce the size of government and you will live free: the key to a happier life!

The feds should have performed a lock-down on ACORN/SEIU the second ACORN's first conviction on voter fraud came back from the jury.
Every time I see a clip from the famous ACORN tapes, I can't help but think that ACORN is the perfect example of what happens when you embrace liberal "morality".
We have plenty of ammunition without resorting to racial comments. If the conservatives want to be taken seriously, we must stop this kind of nonsense. There's room for lots of debate without proving the loony left that we are as bad as they say.
Every election year we hear the same old rhetoric, Vote, just Vote! I don't want people that are completely misinformed to vote. Let's face it, that happened in the last election. Many people interviewed in exit polls were clueless about the issues and the candidates. I wonder how many of those were signed up by ACORN, and I wonder how many of those votes were bought with taxpayer money.
Glenn Beck did a nice little piece on the trash problem Obama's supporters seem to leave behind. He showed photos of grassy area (forget what it's called) after Obama's coronation ceremony where tons of garbage lay strewn. Then, a photo of the exact same area after the 912 March — clean as a whistle! Says a lot about the caliber of people……

If I recall correctly, before the election last year, a number of computers were "stolen" from an ACORN office in Boston. It was speculated that it was in inside job carried out to conceal voter fraud from the FBI. If this incriminating evidence was found on "abandoned" computers, one can only imagine how incriminating the evidence on the "stolen" computers must have been.

UM. What's wrong with cures for cancer? True, I live less than 1/2 a mile from NIH and it's a national treasure. Did you know that Americans with incurable diseases are getting cutting edge care at NIH FOR FREE? Actually, the person responsible for that appropriation is the political transvestite Arlen Spector, whose old carcass has been cured a dozen times from God knows how many diseases.?
Seriously, if you or a loved one is suffering from a chronic or terminal illness you should check out the NIH website to see if you qualify for one of NIH's clinical trials. NIH also has a residence for families of patients receiving long term care.
