Breitbart and Giles Talk ACORN Lawsuit on Fox News
by PubliusIn the first two of what will inevitably be a multitude of ACORN Baltimore lawsuit related media hits, Andrew Breitbart spoke with Bill O’Reilly on Fox News Channel last night while Hannah Giles (and her attorney Kelly Shackelford) spoke with Sean Hannity:
The clips give a basic overview of a lot of arguments that we’ll be seeing as the case unfolds. Breitbart chastises ACORN for infringing on free speech, Giles finds ACORN’s arbitrary $5 million dollar figure “funny,” and both make the case that it is at least a bit ironic that ACORN plans to waste more of our tax dollars in a law suit against the people who exposed the extent to which they are wasting our tax dollars….
Both also note that ACORN Chief Organizer Bertha Lewis thanked the filmmakers for exposing the corruption in her company—this will be hard for ACORN to reconcile in court when Bertha Lewis trots out two ex-employees she terminated to make the case for ACORN’s victimhood.
One item not addressed that might be filed under “OBVIOUS” was that questions are likely to be raised about the wholesale legitimacy of the ACORN Baltimore operation. According to documents obtained by Big Government’s Mike Roman, ACORN was operating illegally in Maryland at the time of the recording. While this fact may not have any bearing on the legality of the videotaping, it certainly makes it easy to understand why nearly every Fox News host is giddy with the prospect of discovery in this case. It is clear that ACORN is running the risk that this lawsuit will only serve to expose them even more.

I for one, am beginning to find the actions of ACORN, their serial hubris, their adolescent arrogance, their juvenille umbrage highly insulting. They have become the Poster Child for euthanasia; someone needs to put them out of their misery, and spare us. They are akin to the Alzheimers patient saying the long goodbye and I don't believe the Health Care Package will rescue them. This goodbye has lasted far too long. Breitbart needs to pull the plug and bury them……………….
Suit has been filed to obtain all of the video taken by the reporters via discovery so that ACORN will know the extent of the surveillance, and exactly what its public position will be in the future. ACORN is doubtlessly worried about the nature and extent of the types of criminal activities its employees were engaged in, and to what extent its institutional exposure may be today and in the future.
Put a different way, ACORN has already been caught lying about the number of instances where the reporters were told to "go pound sand" by law abiding employees, and that has got to stop. A successful lie is one whereby the liar knows his/her story, along with all of the supporting facts. Absent such knowledge, the liar is at the disadvantage, and cannot maintain the fiction.
The stimulus package was written in 2003 for John Kerry.
I was gangstalked/mobbed at work. Gangstalking and or mobbing is a a paid psychological harassing attack. Rumors are passed around so non-paid attackers will harass the target also. Gangstalking destroys lives and forces people to commit suicide. Many can not ever again get a job. These gangstalkers mobbers leaders are sociopath and psychopathic by nature. 4 things best to know about gangstalking. 1.) It is made to make the target/victim destitute (like me) 2.) Impossible for target or victim to stop. 3.) It creates mob blood lust against target or victim(like Rwanda Hutus and the Titis, because it happens in the brain the blood is not visible and does not seem as vicious. ) 4.) Things are done to you and around you no one will believe to make you look not credible. This is why they told me their plans. They said no one will believe me. I hope you do.
A guy with black hair about 5' 6" Italian looking gent came up to me and argued politics. He was well dressed and not an Union employee. We argued about green movement cap & trade, card check, 857 stimulus package. It is weird I was getting paid to argue politics with a suit? All of the bills were progressive normal (party line) except for the stimulus package.
There was a person there that said we will help in your attack. We are ACORN. I said, "Who?" She said,"ACORN, We will grow into a big oak tree." Her arms made a canopy over her head. There were 8 or nine people behind her. This scared me after I saw on the news a "recreation" of this event at a ACORN event. I only saw this right before an election.
Stimulus package
The Italian guy says, "We already have a pre-written stimulus package." I asked them how they know which parts of the market need stimulating if the economy has not dropped yet. I told him either he has a plan to drop it already or he has a agenda that needs a economy drop. Later on he repeated that to another more expensive suit and both said I was smart. I told him he does not have the Balls to show it to me. He comes out with about 1000 pages of blank printer paper. Later on I was asked to go upstairs. I saw a printed stimulus package printed on one side only. It was also still warm. I looked to the left I saw three very expensive suits ($10,000 + ). I asked him if I could count it. The Italian cheap suit guy said about 857 pages but it could be higher now. Ital. Guy said, "We keep on adding org. and businesses all the time could be over 900 pages by now". I said, "Now you have given me a memory and shown me this." They said, "No one will believe you." Remember rule No. 4. He let me look through it I said I hope you did not kill all this tree for me. The cheap suit guy said, "We were going to print this in Chicago, but we wanted to show you first. We are going into Chicago to get support from Illinois Senators and Reps. that we already know and have worked with." They never said if it was State or Federal? Would they add Barak Obama into that mix? He was running for U.S. Il. Senator and he was already a sitting State Senator? Now that I see all this happening, this question bugs me more.
They said they wanted it approved before John Kerry got into office so the votes were already counted. They stated they would wait for the right time. When they controlled both Houses and the Presidency.
They also stated they could get up to $200,000,000,000.00 out of it. They said, "And once we start people eating from the community trough. It is almost impossible get them to stop. We only need two years to do our plan. To change America into the American dream for all." They also insinuated that though they do not have enough contributors yet. If George Bush gets into office, they will try to extend the Bull market long enough for the 2008 election where they promised me a "Beneficial" President. They explained a longer way up means a harder way down.
The market up down part makes sense, but the "promise" was probably a plan they hoped would work out and did.
I want to reveal the full gangstalking story and ACORNs and Unions role, but I need help.
1.) Please open this up to the Blogousphere (spelling?). I only have 1 hour on a computer, so I need surrogate bloggers. And do not use blogs at all. Please, Pass this around .
2.) I am pretty beaten down by the gangstalking so please send me some encouragement.
3.) The reason for gangstalking is to destroy you and push you around until you can not find suitable work so you become a forgotten person. Or to get you to kill yourself. Do not let this part of my life story go into the garbage heap of time. This is too important and I need your help. I will be homeless soon.
What I need and in what order.
1.) Because I am in a position where people say I am lying. I need to put my life story to a lie detector test. But I have no money a car or a job. The reason I do not have a job is every time I get one they end up being there or harassing me along the route to my job. I need a way to take a lie detector tests, many acually.
2.)Any suggestions, encouragement, or finacial aid sent to me would also help. For those of you who say Do it yourself. Gangstalking is also called Mental Rape for a reason. All money sent would go to getting me away safely, paying for psychological help,writing story explainations and backing it up; and getting this whole story out. If I had not lived it, I would probably would have a hard time believing it.

I agree with Andrew. The "internal investigation" headed up by John Podesta shaped in the form of attacks on Hannah and Jason is outrageous. It's further proof that ACORN is in fact corrupt from the bottom all the way to the top. Were they actually concerned about corruption and actually appreciative of Hannah and Jason for exposing it then WHY are they attacking them and suing and/or threatening legal action against them? This organization is rotten to the core and such contemptuous behavior on the part of it's "leaders" is despicable and cowardly.
Discovery…….subpoena their tax filings and find out where the money really goes.

Your story is compelling and impressive. have you thought about really putting it out there for public dissemination? Were I you, I would consider talking to the News Departments at NBC,CBS and ABC. Try to get to Charlie Gibson at ABC. If that does not work, try CNN or MSNBC. As a lat resort I would suggest you try the Washington Post or the New York Times. I am sure a story as serious as yours would garner the attention of the Main Stream Media. What do you think?
Why don't WE as taxpayers form a big group and sue Acorn. Afterall, we now have the proof. Since our government really is not going to do much of anything I feel this is an appropriate action. They have stolen our money for many years and when these two GREAT citizens, Hannah and Andrew, do real justice they are dragged into court and investigated instead of given the medal of honor.

This organization is so corrupt that they are incapable of making sound decisions. They would have been much better off trying to lay low and continue with whatever work they could really do to help the poor; but no; they can't help themselves! They have gotten away with fooling people into believing that they are a legitmate organization for so long, that they cannot admit defeat. They will just continue to expose themselves.

Hopefully the discovery process will show Obama's affiliation with ACORN as well as members of Congress.
Odds are ten to one that ACORN drops the law suit soon. They are just putting it out there to feel the liberal winds. However, this is still expensive. It will cost Hannah hundreds of thousands even if it is dropped. That is ACORN's intent…intimidate and scare others from doing the same thing.

ACORN began many months ago, to change their name, it is now to be known as COI; however, since many people know about this change, they're going to have to change their name to something else, if they survive in any way, after this insanity.

From briefs I have read here and other places ACORN does not seem to have a very good case. Knowing this is all about getting the right spin from media, they have missed that mark big time. In at least two of the videos, children can be heard, which means others would have been able to hear the conversation. There were also people in the background on the videos that could have been within hearing distance. In the video with the Tresa (lady in the pink shirt), much of the conversation appears to have taken place outside where a video or listening device could have been used from a distance. Does anyone know more about this?

Discovery works both ways does it not? Any additional video stings could be squashed by the court if they are not made public prior to a ruling to gag? Suits counter-suits and delays could protract the gag long enough to protect the congress-critters and other enablers past another election?
The Acorn management seems to be totally inept but my guess would be that the legal staff of the enablers could be a little more intelligent?
