MEGYN KELLY (co-host): Joining me now is Andrew Breitbart. He’s the founder of the website the video first appeared on. It’s called BigGovernment.com, and the videos are still there. Andrew, good morning to you.
BREITBART: Good morning, Megyn.
KELLY: You were with us the morning that the story broke — the morning that the first video aired on BigGovernment.com. And now in a week’s time, the congressional action, the response by the Feds, has been really stunning. I mean, for years, the Democrats in Congress have not wanted to sign on to anything that would cut back funding from ACORN, and now we see these huge majorities coming out of the Senate and the House to cut down the group — to cut off the group’s funding. What’s your reaction, a week into this?
BREITBART: Well, I’m grateful that the American public has realized that there’s a serious problem here, and that their elected representatives are taking their concerns seriously. A new Rasmussen poll came out this morning that says America’s overwhelmingly disturbed by what they’ve seen on these videos.
But, predictably, and why we rolled the videos out one by one by one by one, we set traps for ACORN to lie; each and every time they lied. They went to the mainstream media, continued to tell those lies. The next day, the previous day’s lies were exposed. And CNN in particular has kept going back to ACORN and taking their line.

You have yet to address the police incident report that ACORN Philadelphia has released. Despite the success, the lack of a response to this is hurting the complete legitimacy of the story since it appears to contradict your claims of have success everywhere you tried and validates ACORN's story that you indeed failed in places, were turned away, and the police were contacted. You really should respond to it.
Wow. Check out some of the comments on the media matters web page. Some really twisted stuff, considering i don't see any comments denouncing ACORN…. i just see a lot of excuses for their behavior and a weak defense of their organization.

I am a journalism major in college. When I got back from Iraq last year, just before the presidential election, I was very near giving up that dream. I could stand how the elite media had turned "journalist" into a dirty word, However, in the last few months I have seen some great things… things I thought were no longer possible in this country. I saw that linked article on the site too. I'm curious if we'll get to see Philadelphia tapes. It doesn't detract from the behavior in the other offices though, but I'm not sure why James would intentionally lie about it. Anyone else have any info on the Philadelphia tape?
And now we have Congressman Jerry Nadler of new york's 8th congressional district saying the "defund acorn" provision is a Bill of Attainder, and, thus, prohibited by the Constitution.
This just shows how little Jerry knows the Constitution. A bill of attainder is a law aimed at a specific person or group, declaring them guilty of a crime. The "Defund ACORN" act doesn't do that. A bill of attainder could, in addition to declaring a person or group guilty of a crime, be used to take private property away from a person or group. The bill doesn't take any private property away from ACORN. It denies federal funding to ACORN. I'm not aware of any Constitutional provision that grants groups a right to tax dollars, thus making the tax dollars their "private property". But, i guess i could have missed that part in the Constitution.
Conversely, Jerry Nadler supported a bill aimed specifically at AIG, which would have taxed their bonuses at %100. THAT is a bill of attainder… taking away money(i.e. private property, rightly described as so, by virtue of a LEGAL CONTRACT) from a specific group, by way of Congress enacting a law aimed at the specific group, AIG.
Nadler needs to bone up on his Constitution.

Did you see that news story on Media Matters concerning that police reports were filed? As we are now coming to know, there are many more videos on the horizon. They must took some time traveling and setting up each sting in the different cites, so we know some time lapsed making all these appearances. After a while I would think that maybe just one or two ACORN employees became suspicious and talked to one another at a different office or to higher level individual that tied the events together. I believe not until this happened were any police reports filed. Obviously, I am just guessing, but you must admit that none of the videos show the two being thrown out.
But lets give the benefit of the doubt and say one or two reports were filed after the two left. This defense would be similar to the TV sting "program" where they set up pedophiles to come to a house expecting to have sex with a minor. And instead of exposing the sting at the conclusion, they just let the "target" go. After awhile, some of the predators would become suspicious and try to turn the tables and say they left on their own by saying "when I realized the girl was underage, I knew it was wrong, so I left". Good luck with that defense, ha ha ha!
You see the difference in this sting operation was the "sting" wasn't revealed at the scene! It was duplicated over and over again, with the same results! Reporting later you were a subject of a sting where you participated in aiding and abetting potential crimes is not a defense. It is evidence of a bit of a "brain", but not evidence of innocents!
If this defense would work in court, we should just unlock all the jails cells now! ha ha ha!

So far, that would be 1 office out of 6 that didn't try to help facilitate a brothel filled with underage girls smuggled into the country to work as sex slaves. They, according to ACORN, have done this in dozens of offices. Where are the rest of the police reports?
One office called the cops. One, out of dozens. Yay. Let's give 'em a medal, shall we? And yes, that might confirm that there actually are people that work for ACORN that have souls. I would expect that. But one good apple doesn't heal a rotten bushel.

Media Matters is quickly becoming a daily must read comedy site just for their crazily over the top commenters. There's no depth a Dem can go to they won't defend and nothing a Republican does they won't call racist.
Considering how Breitbart has goaded and baited Acorn and its flunkies like a dog to a piece of meat, I would venture that he will continue to goad them into pressing this issue – followed by the video showing yet another Acorn lie. It wasn't that long ago where all you heard was RACIST RACIST RACIST, until they showed the video of the caucasian. All they are going to be left with is blaming Bush, Cheney, Halliburton, & the CIA.
Remember, the entire premise was to use Alinski's rules against them. I saw the police report. I thought it was interesting that James O'Keefe's real name appeared on the bottom of the police report. I am guessing they got his name from caller ID as the woman at the ACORN office claimed that they got his number from the incoming call into the ACORN office. My question is why didn't the police follow up and call James regarding this incident. I don't see that they did this anywhere in the report. Would that be something the police would normally follow up on?

Diligence will bring success in the demise of OBAMACORN. The two bills, one from the senate and one from the house will need to go to reconcillation to merge and then to Chairman Obama for his signature. He could let it set on his desk to quietly expire (likely) or sign or veto(unlikely).
Should he veto or allow the bill to expire the house and senate will need to override his decision. THEN and only then will OBAMACORN be defunded from the $8.5 billion in the stimilus funding.

Congress de-funded ACORN so they could support the new Obama community organization scheme – AmeriCorps.gov! This just played right into his grand plan to socialize America. ACORN did it's damage that they wanted – get too many homeowners in over their heads with a mortgage (B Frank), then sign up lots of minority voters to vote for a minority president. They were finished with them anyway.
You watch – AmeriCorps will be the next ACORN strong arm of the Obama Administration!

I’m calling foul on this so-called Philly police report. I work with the police and if there’s a report then the so-called “defendant” (in this case James) would have been contacted immediately. Since I’ve never heard of James mentioning being contacted I’m suspicious. If, however the report is geniune I think the scenario posted above is more plausible. Looks to me like the word started getting out among some ACORN offices that they were possibly the targets of a sting so someone in Philly filed a report to cover their bums. My first instinct is to feel that the report is bogus. Has anyone contacted the Police Officer identified in the report? Until then I’m reserving judgement.
