Dem Leader: ‘I Don’t Know Whether or Not ACORN Can Survive.’

Noone would ever mistake him for a member of the Blue Dog Caucus–the organization of relatively ‘moderate’ democrats in Congress. Not to put to fine a point on it, he is an unreconstructed leftist of the highest order. A Saul Alinsky Sith Lord, if you will. Yet, even Rep. Miller thinks ACORN’s days may be numbered.
Appearing tonight on the Ed Schultz show on MSNBC, Rep. Miller had this to say about ACORN:
But, they’ve made some horrendous mistakes. I don’t know whether or not they can survive it. We’ll see what the investigations say.

This week gives me hope about the next election. Hopefully, enough states will enact strict voting laws Acorn won't be able to bus people from precinct to precinct, again.
Unfortunately, I fear more and more each day something bad is going to happen before 2012. My wife thought I was insane to fill up our pantry and try to teach her how to shoot; but every day I read the news I feel we are swirling closer and closer to anarchy. Acorn and its supporters will gather strength and coordination eventually for their counterattack – the only question is where, how, and how hard. I pray to God I am wrong.

The Narcissistic Personality Disorder / psychosis of Dear Leader has been getting a lot of traction. Here's a new one. Codependency. Barry enables the abuse and self-abuse of afflicted souls like ACORN / SEIU brownshirts, and in the process receives back the adulation and enforcement of his delusions he craves.
We now have a showdown. Will President Obama sign these bills. My guess is he does not and then we will have all the evidence we need to expose him. I am sure ACORN has all sorts of dirt on him and other people in his administration.
The thing that bothers me about Miller's statement is that it really bothers him that ACORN may not survive. He should have said that ACORN "should not survive", and they shouldn't. Any org that is taking public $ and is as corrupt as ACORN is should be shut down, they're leaders jailed, and never reopened in any form. If that does not happen the corruption would begin again. For any society to survive it cannot tolerate corruption in any form.

This is better than a reality show. Wonderful. It will be interesting to see if BO will indeed sign this bill when it gets to his desk.
James and Hannah deserve a Pulitzer for this work. I won't hold my breath, however. I don't expect to see the self-righteous panels of "Doonesbury" say anything about this travesty either, but we can be sure Trudeau will nip around the heels of any misstep by the right.
The environment for outing corrupt liberal organizations is target-rich. James, Hannah, and their growing army of righteously indignant followers should consider going after another nest of corrupt influence right smack in NYC on Turtle Bay – the UN's officially-sanctioned Non-Governmental Organizations, unelected issue-driven influence peddlers who promote any number of causes that would make one sick with revulsion were the truth known.
Consider engaging them in casual conversation about what their ultimate aims are and you will be shocked. These "NGOs" are facilitated by the massive annual contribution America makes to the UN budget. Out them and take them down.
I wish I could say that politicians like Rep. Miller are truly disgusted with these "new revelations" about ACORN. Unfortunately, I think they are just running like roaches with the lights on after Big Government and Fox finally shed some light on the subject. It's hard for me to believe that the politicians had no idea of the shady dealings of ACORN. More likely, I believe, they were content to turn their eyes to the matter as long as the group served their interests and no one knew about it.
Does anyone else ever wonder if the Clinton's ever played a role in ACORN's beginnings since they started in Arkansas I believe in the 90's and when they were in the White House the Community Reinvestment Act was put into play which had a major impact on our current housing/mortgage crisis? Just a thought!
ACORN started in 1970. Carter was in it up to his pencil neck, so was Slick Willie. It is simpley an Organized Crime Racket, modeled off the old Policy Banks in Harlem. I hope that new video will be held back until the legislation to defund ACORN is actually siting on the President's desk for signature. I am skeptical that it will still be defunded after the bills leave reconciliation. Though I am not a fan of blackmail, I would like something to hold back just in case Congress tries to get away with sneaking funding back in.

Robert Wexler (FL) voted "No" to defund ACORN because he claims "this amendment that passed today is not going to do a thing because it’s not legal" …and that it will not be upheld in court. Interesting reasoning, no?
Of course they knew and approved. Just as they knew and approved, and still approve, of Rangel's memory lapses (oops, forgot about half a million $$$ in my account), just as they knew and approved of Dodd-Frank shenanigans, just as they knew of William Jefferson's $90K in the freezer (kept there to prevent spoilage, I assume.) These are the people who – in the words of James Moran (D-Virginia) abhore the "simplistic notion that those who possess wealth are entitled to keep it." And Moran is one of them.

I should make myself clear – Moran is one of those who would love to redistribute your wealth and mine.
The outcome here will be no different than when they moved Van Jones from one position of power to another. When ACORN goes under, the corrupted ACORN leaders will simply shift to another puppet organization doing the same kind of work. Killing the organization is only a minor bump in the road for these guys who have friends in the highest places.
We need to focus on getting the corrupt ACORN leaders behind bars for a long time. Otherwise they will simply be shifted to another position of influence while we pat ourselves on the back for our accomplishment.
To ensure acorns demise we have to try to get them delisted as a tax free organization. With money no longer coming from the federal government or from the states the final nail in their coffin would be to be taxed on the money donated to them from private entities and fees they charge.
I'm not too familiar with what what makes an organization tax free, but with the everything that has come to light with acorn I'm sure that it might be in jeopardy.
Our two young heroes have done their part now it's time to do ours. Please contact the IRS and your State Department of Revenue Serves and demand an investigation on acorns Tax Exempt Status.

George Miller is my Congresscritter. A real leftwing slimeball. The only reason he got elected in the first place was that he inherited his father's (who was actually a very good legislator) seat. Miller was one of the few members of the Progressive Caucus to vote to defund ACORN. Definitately only a CYA manuever which is strange because he wins elections here with votes in the 70-80% range. However all leftwing Dems are now vunerable to being tossed out the the next Dem primary by centrists.
You know before anyone gets too excited about Acorn Defunding – all that this means that there is a disparity between the House and Senate of the bills – if the Senate were not to agree to the House modification(s) – then it would need to go to conference committee – where ANY amendment could be removed and all bill that emerges from that committee stands as written, meaning that all both chambers would be left to vote on would be an up or down the finished measure. Once out of conference committee no more amending is allowed. So this – sorry, there really are no more words to describe these people, can go home to their district and (if they had voted against funding) "I voted to defund" – HOWEVER, IF IT IS NOT IN THE FINAL BILL – it has all been, once again, a SHAM!!!!!

In Victorian England, prior to Charles Dickens writing "OLIVER TWIST", few in the middle and upper middle classes knew much of anything about the lowest and most base of the criminal subset.
Until Hannah and James, few of us, here in America, knew much about the inside of ACORN and its criminality. except for the voter fraud and the thuggery re what they did in Chicago vis-a-vis intimidating the banks and the higher up bank officers. But even knowing those facts, there were no "faces" to go along with the thuggery and criminality. James and Hannah pulled that veil away and now we can really see, for ourselves, the vileness of the people who work in the ACORN offices.
Just think……………..two twentysomethings are now responsible for getting both Houses of Congress and several state and local sheriffs, DAs, and the like, to at long last actually DO something about shutting down this travesty, the thoroughly corrupt and EVIL entity, which is mostly funded by our tax dollats at ALL levels of government; local, state, and federal !
