You have a valid point – My parents just finally broke down and got cable (basic – 14 channels, most they've ever had) because the law re: digital conversion screwed them out of all but one channel when they tried a converter box. That was the local NBC affiliate. Many elderly or those in rural areas still do not have cable, dishes or anything else. SAD. – they have to rely on the 3 major networks. I know a girl who lives in the boonies and still has trouble getting online with HughesNet (used to be directv) for her internet connection – it's out more than in.
