In todays economy its hard to find a job that pays good and is consistent. I have found that if you just work hard and are consistent you can succeed. Look at the writer of this article, they are clearly a hard worker and have just been consistent over time and are now enjoying at least what would appear as somewhat of a success. I am a white male, I am a republican, but my skin tone nor my political affiliation should bring you to a conclusion about me nor affect the results of my entrance into college or right to work. If you want to rid the world of racism first you must do everything you can to make the world blind to race. As they say justice is blind, and rightfully so, a college entrance board cannot discriminate one applicant from another on the basis of race, if the application form does not ask of their lineage. The road to change is built from he ground up and this is one of the first practices perpetuating inequality which is in dire need of resolution, yet I see no-one with the power to do so even discussing it.
