Congressman Sessions, what we have here is one of the most blatantly corrupt administrations of all time. It was not until this last week that the truth is coming out. On a number of points including: Global Warming, AIG bailout, secret deals with SEIU, to name only a few.
Testimony today in the AIG debacle is touching on what had happened. Paulson, Geithner and Bernanke pulled off a financial crime to make Madoff look like penny-ante. This forum is not the place to build the case against them but there is absolutely a case of outright favoritism, payoffs, and back stabbings between Goldman and Bear-Sterns. Once the details of who got paid waht and when, the picture will be obvious to even the worst liberal believer.

Rep. Sessions, I believe that you are one of a few that share the principles and morals that many of us share, but with all due respect Rep. Sessions…Shall you not forget this simple fact.

I'll tell you what I want to see. Do you know how difficult it is to actually get through to your congressman's office? Why should it be difficult with all the money they spend. I want to see staffers (and more of them and more intelligent ones) staffing those phones for longer hours and during the weekend. We real people have real jobs and we can't always make time to call your offices during business hours, which for me start at 7 and end at 6 and for the representatives appear to start at 10 and end at 3.

And another thing, instruct each of your staffers to answer with their names and I mean full names. I am not calling Sears. If you are afraid to be giving your name out to the citizen who calls you then you do not deserve to be sitting in any kind of capacity as a public servant and that goes for your underlings also.

We been doing that for at least a year now, but it's a big ditch, and everybody better be on the same page or we shall never gain enough inertia to make it past that first rise in that ditch. We've already been rocking this wagon back and forth trying to get enough umpff to get the front wheels out, but we still got a little pushing back and forth to do, before we get the jump on it. It's just important that we don't stop pushing…! It's a big wagon in a deep ditch, and any little legitimate effort will help. Congressman Sessions, I know you are a good and decent man. As you can tell, there is quite a bit of frustration and quite a less bit of trust in the heartland right now.

The people are feeling that they are being trampled, run over…that public servants have forgotten what the phrase means. Arrogance has run amok. Our government is being run with the morals of a medieval bazaar, best liar wins.

Our entrenched media is a tool for deceit…hence the need for this site and others like it…to ferret out the truth from a landfill of lies. It's a cesspool of propaganda for interests that do not align with the masses.

Section 264 in Waxman-Markley Bill will fund "community development organizations" with up to $300 Million, so they can assist neighborhoods with conservation, and improvement of energy efficiency strategies….(to tell us when to turn down the heat?)
We all know who runs these organizations.
Do we need federal consultants to tell people how to save energy? This money would be given to groups that have already been caught mis-handling federal funds…………
Kerry-Boxer bill allocates $200 million, to promote green development…………..this spending is obscene! Americans need jobs, I'm sure unemployment is over 10%. We are suffering with the poorly run economy…and unable to get loans to create businesses. We're at the mercy of Government, because of the corruption of Government. Government insisted the banks make bad loans…and NOW they blame the Banks for this mess. KILL THE BILLS!
We are fearful of the message this is sending to our enemies, ( all the chaos, all the debt, the uncertainty of our leaders in how to manage terrorists, the unwillingness to listen to the People, etc.,)
The focus of Government should be to get the priorities in order. Simple.
Government, as per the Constitution, should be providing protection and security….and while our brave soldiers are doing that, they can make us economically sound………and stay out of EVERYTHING else that is not a Constitutional responsibility.

I guess the point congressman Sessions is that we see little difference between the left simply not wanting to listen to the people and the right pretending to. We want real honest to goodness representation. That means instead of relying on polls, ask us what we want by allowing us to actually vote. Don't simply praise us for wanting to be part of the process but rather permit us to actually contribute to that process.

I find it absolutely repugnant that our "representatives" would exclude the American people from participating in and voting on such monumental legislation. Instead we get the better half of the members of the senate holding meetings behind closed doors with representatives from Pharmaceutical companies, Hospitals, Insurance providers and labor unions. To add insult to injury they ignore offers of free television coverage. Now when the heat is on Obama reluctantly gives lip service to doing exactly what he promised to do in his campaign.( Personally I didn't vote for him so I don't hold him to his promises. In fact it was understanding that he wouldn't live up to them that I didn't vote for him. Ironic? I think not.)

We the people are sick and tired of our so called representatives horse trading our votes so they can barter a better deal for their constituents (i.e. fellow citizens). We are sick of political expediency. We want our votes to be more than a politicians currency. We want our taxes to be more than discretionary funds for wealthy power hungry ex-lawyers. We want our nation returned to it's former state of independence where we are not reliant on other nations for resources or products so we might, as a nation, also be free from influence by those nations.
