Big lies & deceit are coming in 2010. Ask yourself why haven't the stimulus funds all been used? B/c politicians are waiting as primaries and general elections get closer to release funds to create the illusion that they are working for you, creating jobs and helping the economy. Don't believe them don't trust them.

Well, that's the only Superbowl that the Vikings will ever win (while taxpayers continue to lose).
Why doesn't South Dakota have a professional football team?
Because then Minnesota would want one.
Aren't the NFL, NHL, NBA, etc. all privately owned businesses? Not a dime of taxpayer $$$ should be going their way….let the advertisers and the leagues pay for them!
Bojangles tea is 99 cents for a half gallon. But then I'm just a Bible clinging, gun totting, redneck. Amen
Why do you think we are broke?
Listen to BMartin as he is spot on. If you dont believe, just watch, wait and see his prediction come to fruition.
I too have been predicting same as it is axiomatic when one looks at the speed with which stimulus passing was pushed and the subsequent lack of emergency spending on anything meaningful while keeping powder dry for pre election spending sprees.

All porkers should be slow roasted. No exceptions.
Actually that is not quite true. Almost every NFL team has held hostage the city/state they play in to build massive new stadiums on the tax payers dime in they want the team to stay. The NFL is thriving but still the tax payers are building stadiums and getting sweet heart deals when it comes to revenues and stadium rental.
Contrast that to NASCAR where everything is privately owned. The tracks they race at are private, period. The downside is that one Family Owns Nascar and have not always been the most reasonable of people at times.
All most all Sports Areanas are Public not private property. I say that Professional Sports has to stop sucking at the public trough. There is plenty of private money to do build stadiums etc. but why should they have to when they get away with strong arm tactics.
Nicely done. Why don't the Vikings eat cereal? Every time they get near the bowl, they choke….
I know I may get a few "thumbs down" on this comment, however Ketchikan was promised by the federal government over 30 years ago that they would get a bridge to their airport. When the airport was built the "government" decided that the airport was best put on Gravina island as there was no room on Revillagigedo island, where Ketchikan is located. In the "interim" a ferry would be used to transfer people and vehicles back and forth between town and the airport. This really is not a "bridge to nowhere" as most people think and read in their local and national papers. Revilla, as it's known for short, is mountain and water. There is no room for an airport on the same island that consists of the town. So what are the people to do? The same thing they have been doing for the last 35 years? They were promised a bridge from the get go and never received it. Research what this means to the economic stability and growth to this city and then make your own decision. I support Palin but her backpedaling was wrong on this one.
That's our gov. Got an ego as big as obamao. I'm so proud of him {not]. Co.
Minn.: if you all need a new stadium put up a bond and pay for it that way. Your team has no business spending tax payer money on a new stadium.__Alaska: If you really need that bridge to nowhere and it is absolutley necessary, then build it with state tax dollars and make it a toll road. It might take 100 years to pay for it, but it will get payed for eventually.__Jobs agency: If you can't pay back the misappropriated funds for meals, someone needs to go to prison.__Colorado: just how many jobs did the the 385M create for your state. And no matter how small the amount of money was for the Signs, you don't need to advertise for the Obama administration to make him sook good. The least you could do is tell us how many jobs were created for the money spent. DynCorp Int'l: No matter how exeplarary the work you perform is, you still need to account for the money spent using exceptable accounting methods. (Don't cook the books) And the guy running the program for disadvantaged students, you didn't get enough jail time.
Here in Colorado I pass by one of the "famed " signs quite often. The highway section(I-76) has been under construction 3 years before the stimulus signs appeared. So in reality the only stimulus was putting up the stupid signs.By the way, our inept ,inefficient Gov. has decided not to run for re-election citing family, truth is , poll numbers, he would lose to an elk wandering out of the mountains.
