· Local builders are being excluded from Air Force housing project in Montana
· Nearly three years after Congress approved new ethics rules, no member of Congress has been punished for wrongdoing
· The U.S. Agency for International Development pays hundreds of millions of dollars to the United Nations Office for Project Services for projects in Afghanistan that have been plagued with fraud, mismanagement and lack of internal financial controls

Well isn't that what we knew before they even tried this carp!! Highway maintenance, bridge building and road maintenance company's are allready establised and the start up cost for a new company would run into the millions ( this at a time when no one is lending ).. I live in Maryland and I can tell you that most road company's never even placed an add for help nor would they need it !! We were allready in the process of replacing bridges over I-95 and the widening of I-95 all of these plains were done under our last gov. and companys that were able to bid on these contracts were allready doing it.. It can take 6 months to a year or even longer to bid on a contract as every little detail must have a cost and even the smallest detail missed could cost millions.. Every subcontractor has to bid on their part et al: steel girders, concrete and so on…
Lets not forget they are sitting on close to 70 percent of that bailout/stimulus money till spring so they can boast their re-election bids and not to save us..

This is an insult to pigs everywhere. They at least supply us with tasty bits. Not so the Congress. They ALL need to be unemployed and join the 17 million other Americans looking for work…

The UN got how much? I say we can help our budget a lot by kicking the bums out. Stop sending aid to all of the countries who hate us so much and find that Stealth company and get our 9.2 million back. Take the failed stimulus back and pay our debts. If banks paid back their bail-out money, put it toward the deficit. Ditch the Post Office plan that cost 1.3 million. Put that money to the deficit.

I have been from Wisconsin to Tennessee numerous times over the past 20 years and have been aware of most of the ongoing road projects on my route. During my last three trips I have observed that many of the projects that have been taking place for up to the last three years have now been named as American Stimulus and Reinvestment Act projects. Who are they trying to fool? What were they under President Bush? Would they have never been finished if not for stimulus dollars, would they have ben left uncompleted? NO, their funding was not the result of stimulus money when they began and is not now. But someone sure doled out allot of money for those expensive signs designed to fool the sheeple.

Neither the Palestinians as an Arab people nor a state called Palestine ever existed before the Jews were promised a homeland in 1922 in the land called by the Europeans as the Palestinian Mandate. Yes it was called Palestine then and promised to the Jews by the British. That land was divided out after WWI from part of the Ottoman / Turkish Empire and Jews were the original Palestinians, if you insist on naming a people after the land they inhabit. This amounted to approximately 1/6 of 1% of what is referred to as the Middle East.
In 1922 Churchill gave the Arabs 80% of the land that was originally promised to the Jews. There was not an Arab state there then and few inhabitants at that. Israelites have in fact inhabited that same land for over 3,500 years and were the majority of the population when it was renamed and promised to be returned to them. For the first 2,000 years Arabs did not live there, not until the Arab invasions of the 7th century that eventually produced the first of the Christian Crusades in the 10th century.
Israel was awarded their land as a nation 1948 by the UN. Israel now only occupies a portion of the 20% of the original Palestinian Mandate left to them by the British that was to be the Israeli homeland. You see in 1948 the UN divided once again what was promised to the Jewish homeland and gave still more to the Arabs.
Most of the land was a comparable wasteland in 1948 and the Jews turned it into what it is today and deserve to keep what they earned and what has been inhabited by them for 3,500 years.

It still amazes me how much waste can come out of Washington D.C. Politicians need to be held accountable for what they do. Nothing is worse so much money when taxpayers are having a difficult time paying the bills.

I've found the best history book is the Bible….Various prophecies show that someday they would be returned to their original homeland. Then, they would become a heavy, burdensome problem. They were removed from their land twice…and scheduled to return after a long time of being away. They have plans to re-build The Temple… Whether we like them or not, they win in the end.
