Inevitable in a government that spends this much money. They should use part of the stimulus money to hire a truly outside auditor – maybe one of those that deals with huge Wall Street Firms – to figure out just where their money is going, and then tell us.

As I recall, the original Pork Report here, was put forth by Senator Tom Coburn of Oklahoma. I have a question for the good Senator: effective Halloween Night, October 31st. will ACORN funding commence again?
I still ask and will continue to do so for the rest of my life,,,, Why do we need the National Science Foundation? That group wastes more money overall than anyone else it seems like.

would someone please tell me what political scientists do i know they cant be studying obama or bertha lewis'es or any of the democrat's or politician's mind's or action's so just what the hell do we need them for this is just another scam to rip the American Taxpayer off it seems to me like everyone would get enough of this shit and start trying to put a stop to it we need to start contacting our state congress men or women and tell them that we want to support bill H.R.833 this bill would dismantle the federal reserve bank and cut out a lot of corruption and that would stop all of these high intrest rates that the bank's charge we need to support this bill H.R.833.
Here is a novel idea…. How about publishing a "CONGRESSIONAL SPENDING SLASHED" report ! (I just read my own comment and immediately thew up in my mouth). I think I need help !
These people would not last one day in my corporate world. And chances are they would be prosecuted for malfiesance (for you government educated libs, malfiesance generally means theft of money or property within a fiduciary position of trust).
I propose that political science, race/gender studies, and journalism are all contrived and useless degrees. Add others if you like. The best journalists never went to j school. You can't teach talent and moral behavior. The observations of a Charles Krauthammer, a psychiatrist by profession, are worth a thousand useless lefty molded political science gadflies. Gender/race studies are totally bogus ideological victim clubs masquerading as a body of science. It's all so typical of the left's hijacking of higher education and the dumbing down of America.
I pity the kid that leaves college with one of those frivolous degress. They've been had.

As long as there are ” representatives of the people ” who will fund pork projects to benefit ( or is it buy off? ) the voters back home, porkbarrel spending will go on. We need reponsible people in DC who will quit wasting OUR money, help create good-paying jobs, support those who truly need it, and do what we sent them to DC to do. I certainly hope that that’s not asking TOO much ( am I being too ironic ?).

My fellow Americans we have a problem! Its Washington and its spread to our state capitals as well. They are all infected with spenditnowitist. It happens when you get handed the check of someone else and are told by soemone else that it ok to spend whatever as long as you can lie about it with straight face! Pork! Pork! Pork! Washington is addicted adn it illegal and corrupt and immoral! Wake Up America! all that money they give to their friends fellow corrupt special interest types just so they get some of it back as campaign bribes is bankrupting this country. If we stopped wasting our money on pork and on giviing to away to foriegn corrupt governments like Sauid arabia, yes we give money to the Saudis and several other oil rich nations! Read the budgets of the state dept. we could cut our debt in half. Stop giving money to our enemies and special interest to line the politians pockets and we'd be whole lot better off.
