Killing Yesterday’s Man
by Pamela GellerOf course it’s great that Osama bin Laden is dead. It’s wonderful. People should be celebrating and dancing in the streets. Are Muslims dancing in the streets the way they were dancing when bin Laden took the Towers down? Crowds of cheering Americans gathered Sunday night outside the White House in Washington and at Ground Zero in New York, chanting “USA, USA.” Not a burka in the crowd. I think that’s very telling. But what is most significant about bin Laden’s death is what it reveals about Barack Obama and Pakistan.
When Obama spoke about the killing of bin Laden Sunday night, he was shameless. Every other word was “I.” I am really surprised that Obama didn’t insist that bin Laden be brought to Manhattan to stand trial. Seriously. Obama can puff himself up and shamelessly strut like peacock, claiming credit for the death of Osama bin Laden, but Gd bless our troops. Hats off to the US military that has been relentless, dogged and brave for ten years in their mission to kill that devout bastard.
In fact, it was intelligence gleaned from interrogating Gitmo detainees, specifically Khalid Sheik Muhammad, that led to capture and killing of Osama Bin Laden. These are the very techniques that Obama and Holder have stopped and fought to reverse. Obama railed against these interrogations and wanted to prosecute the CIA interrogators who led to this capture.
Obama’s chest pounding leads to some troubling conclusions. If he takes credit, that causes other problems. Remember: when Muslims were killing innocent people in Afghanistan because fringe pastor Terry Jones burned a Koran in Florida, Obama said that Jones should curtail his freedom of expression, implying that he would be responsible if Muslims killed anyone because he burned a Koran. But if we follow Obama’s line of thinking, if Muslims go jihad now and start killing people because of the death of bin Laden, who will be responsible for those deaths? Barack Obama.
How does he reconcile such crippled thinking?
Preserving freedom of speech and freedom of expression is just as precious and essential in this war on our civilization as avenging those who died for those very things (our very way of life) in the jihadist attack on America on September 11, 2001.
Besides taking credit, Obama said: “We must also reaffirm that the United States is not and never will be at war with Islam. Bin Laden was not a Muslim leader. He was a mass murderer of Muslims.”
Pure nonsense. Whether we like it or not, Osama bin Laden was a Muslim leader. Whether the Zuhdi Jassers of the world like it or not, Osama was a Muslim leader. Whether the violent Muslims of the world like it or not (and they do), he was a Muslim leader. Muslims in Indonesia were wearing Osama bin Laden t-shirts when we were over there helping them after the tsunami. He was a beloved figure to millions in the Muslim world because of his devotion and purity to the Islamic jihad.
And if he wasn’t a Muslim leader, why was he buried within twenty-four hours of his death “in keeping with Islamic tradition”? We washed and cleaned this monster? Outrageous. He should have been put behind a wall at the 911 Memorial and Museum, the very thing they are doing with the human remains of our loved ones who were killed there.
Also, the question must be raised: if Osama bin Laden was not a Muslim leader, but was instead a “mass murderer of Muslims,” why was the government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan protecting him? And they were: Osama was not living in a cave. He was living in a mansion outside of the Pakistani capital of Islamabad, and that’s where the American forces found and killed him. Osama was living in a splendid complex, a fortress that was built specifically for him near Islamabad. If that is so, then clearly the ISI, Pakistan’s spy service, knew where he was all along. He has apparently been there since 2005. He was there with his son and his youngest wife. So there is no way that the Pakistani government didn’t know that he was there.
Why now? Why did Pakistan allow this to happen after years of sheltering bin Laden? What did Barack Obama have to give up to the Pakistanis in order to make this campaign-bolstering deal for Osama bin Laden? Amid all the celebrations, there is something worrisome about the death of Osama bin Laden – and that is what we don’t know about it.
Finally, insofar as the bigger picture goes, Osama bin Laden was yesterday’s man. The global jihad rages on. The Muslim Brotherhood is far more dangerous than al-Qaeda in its ability to impose Islamic law over the Middle East and to assert it in the West. It has infiltrated the senior levels of our government in ways that al-Qaeda never could. Obama’s exclusive focus on al-Qaeda ignores all the other Islamic supremacist groups that are working around the world, and in the United States, right now. Obama’s Department of Justice is scuttling the prosecutions of Islamic supremacist leaders such as Omar Ahmad of Hamas-tied CAIR. His Treasury Department has given seminars in Sharia finance.
Killing bin Laden won’t solve those problems. Nor will it make the global jihad go away.

Actually we should be thanking Donald Trump for galvanizing obama into action. The Donald has been making The Zero look like a wimp. Supposedly we've known where Bin Ladin was since last August. I suspect Zero was going to wait to pull this one off just before the 2012 election, but Donald forced Zero's hand, just like he did with the birth certificate. Now Zero will have to come up with another big zinger just before next year's election.
Not to mention that this certainly pulls attention away from gas prices, food prices, unemployment, the birth certificate, the epa, etc, etc, etc.

Dear President Obama,
When we won WW2 what happened? Did President Truman issue orders to protect the indigenous population from domestically based Nazis or Imperial Japanese? No. Did President Truman use the word “I” 5,000 times in a speech to the nation after we made the tough but necessary decision to drop Atomic weapons on Hiroshima and Nagasaki? No. So why do you? America is a team, divided now because of your failed efforts to lead this nation, that, for lack of a better word elects the President. So why do you insist on taking credit for things you are not doing and not standing by decisions that will make a doctor, a hospital bed, and a gallon of gas more expensive?
See that is the real rub Mr. Obama. Sure the liberal left can hope to resuscitate legions of useful dope smoking idiots to vote for you, and to be fair most will, but in the end there is this other party that has it’s ears on, I’m not talking about the big ones you are sporting. Recently Mrs. Pelosi remarked how she wished that elections did not matter; in essence she was hoping for a dictatorship lead by a liberal socialist that stood for “social justice.” Now that is some of the most un-American sentiment I’ve ever heard expressed. Elections must matter, because of all the peoples of the Earth, of all the countries of the Earth, the citizens of The United States of America deserve to have the final say on whether we place that final nail in our coffin as a nation in the form of “Obamacare,” or we choose the wiser path. When I was in my formative years a man named Ronald Reagan was the President.
Mr. Reagan did what ever he could do to remind us, the American people, that our success wasn’t his doing. On his desk he had a plaque that read “There is no limit to what a man can do or where he can go if he doesn't mind who gets the credit." People of your political stripe hated Mr. Reagan and worked against his efforts. Of note is a movie called “The Day After.” This movie depicts nuclear devastation and subconsciously blames President Reagan for it. What we really had though was peace, then victory, and prosperity. Even for the defeated Soviets as they focused not on building bombs, but oil rigs and trade. Not all good trade, but at least their main focus was not dropping a hydrogen bomb on the White House. The American people know exactly what you are, and the political class thinks you may not win. By November of 2011 we will both know whether or not you are going to face a primary challenge. You see Mr. Obama we no longer live in an era when we are only given a limited number of media choices, we have changed the channel on you so many times no matter what you do, other then change your mind entirely, will we never click back.
We’ve had it.
Or as my father used to say, “If you don’t clean up this f-ing room I’m throwing everything the f- out!” Well, he did. And the American people are going to take your toys away on November 6, 2012 because, brother, you are making an f-ing mess, and there is not a garbage bag big enough to clean it up if we allow you to hold onto the Presidency.

When crowds gathered in the US, people were patriotic, chanting USA and singing God Bless America. OBL was dead, but the celebration was about justice for 9/11, the USS Cole bombing, the first WTC attack, and the US embassies in Africa.
There's no moral relativism. When people in the ME, Mexico, Somalia, etc. were celebrating, it was to celebrate the death of innocent civilians and to wish death upon the US. Furthermore, the liberals don't stand on moral high ground either. When Code Pink continues to aid Hamas and the Taliban and to harass the families, including children, of the military, their hypocrisy should be called out.
Re: Obama and his liberals. In the same breathe, liberals are congratulating Obama for supposedly doing what Bush couldn't do. Meanwhile, the same liberals issued death threats to Bush for his warmongering. The same liberals who believe that war isn't the answer and that Gitmo should be closed. The Navy Seals who captured a terrorist and gave him a bloody lip are facing criminal charges; meanwhile, Obama is being credited for–at his direction–allowing Navy Seals to fire a kill shot into the head of mofo OBL. The liberal hypocrisy is staggering.

But with the above records of Obama, Sr. what makes you believe he was not born in Hawaii?

Nice try but Khalid Sheik Muhammad was in custody when the compound was built. The compound was discovered by following a courier whose identity could not possibly have been known by KSM.
Prove your claim – Show us the interrogation videos where KSM identified the compound or the courier. Oh, but you can't. The interrogation videos were all destroyed because they would have shown nothing but a captured idiot babbling incoherently and providing a thousand wild geese for the feds to chase.
