A Conspiracy Against the Mind, Against Life, Against Man–and the Virtue of Sarah Palin
by Pamela GellerWednesday Sarah Palin responded to the vicious blood libel leveled against her and millions of right-thinking Americans by the army of destroyers. The ferocious, relentless attacks on Sarah Palin are a testament to her greatness, proof of how deathly afraid of her they are, like Dracula to the silver cross.
It’s envy. Ayn Rand said it: “Envy is regarded by most people as a petty, superficial emotion and, therefore, it serves as a semihuman cover for so inhuman an emotion that those who feel it seldom dare admit it even to themselves….That emotion is: hatred of the good for being the good.”
Here’s the thing. The mission, by objective, of the haters, the party of destruction, is to ruin the best, the brightest, the good. The left has, day after day, month after month, year after year, decade after decade, trafficked only in ruin and destruction, focusing on the most effective leaders on the right.
Name one, one, Republican president the voluntary-state-run media has liked. Forget liked, has given a fair shake? Name one Republican they supported. The only Republican the media can cotton to is a RINO (Republican In Name Only) or one who is sure to lose (i.e. old, middle of the road RINO McCain).
I refuse to accept that Palin is unelectable. Says who? Those who wish to destroy her. We, on the right, must learn from our enemies. Not their evil, but in their strategy. They stand by their people no matter how egregious their crime — the Barney Franks, Barney Franks, Bill Clintons blah blah blah.
We, on the other hand, cut and run when the lie about whomever has gone around the world, before the truth has a chance to get its pants on. I cringe when I hear conservatives and Republicans say that Palin is not electable. Why? Because evildoers said so? Who cares? That’s what they want you to think. How wonderful it would be to have a clear thinking, rational, proud patriot for president. Who else could possibly restore America back to her standing and respect in the world? I think Palin would be spectacular, one of the greats.
The left was waiting for such an atrocity as the Arizona shooting. It didn’t matter who, what, where, when — fill in the blanks. The ghouls were waiting for Arizona to smear the right and those that best represent us.
As for Sarah Palin not being electable — by whom? The left? So what? Who cares? They are never going to vote for her anyway (or for any decent, qualified American). We were never getting that vote. We need to communicate to our base, and to people capable of critical thinking. We need to communicate our ideas to each other outside the media and the cable networks. They have failed us, failed America. We need to be proactive, craft our message and get it out there. Responding to defamation is reactive. It eats up our time, energy, resources. Enough. We cannot throw away our best people after they have been gang-raped by our enemies. Would you do that with people you love? Would you abandon a family member who had been attacked by jealous inferiors? Of course not. You would fight back with every breath in your body. That is what is being demanded of you now. Your family is this nation, you must defend it like a …. mama grizzly.
They do not want to own your fortune, they want you to lose it; they do not want to succeed, they want you to fail; they do not want to live, they want you to die; they desire nothing, they hate existence, and they keep running, each trying not to learn that the object of his hatred is himself . . . . Evil is made possible by the sanction you give it. Withdraw your sanction. Now. The debased and the soulless are not our masters. They do not tell us what to think and who to follow or who we can like or dislike or who we can be friends with.
I am going to back Sarah Palin for 2012 and John Bolton. I will not back soft, fickle Republicans like Gingrich or Pawlenty or anybody else who does not have the courage of his or her convictions.
I’d rather lose with the right guy than win with the wrong one. Palin in 2012.

Excellent article, Pam. Need I say more. Yep, Sarah is real and a patriot.
With Gingrich or Pawlenty or Christie or most of the rest of them, you don't know where they stand on many issues. They are not consistent, they hide their motives, frankly I don't trust a one of them.
Not the case with Palin, we know what she stands for, she makes her positions clear, and the positions are conservative, constitutional and just.
Couldn't agree more, especially the analysis about her electability.
Don't forget, the left keeps attacking her relentlessly, and she comes out shining like a star. The regressives offer nothing but piss and hate. The contrast between her and them is vivid The left has used all the ammo they have on Palin. they can't attack much beyond what they already have. When 2012 rolls around and Sarah starts talking about her policy ideas and things like individual rights and freedoms that have been removed, how does the left respond? Attack her more? Been there, done that. Game over.

Everything the left is doing is out of their "play-book". Truth, civility and honesty have no meaning in their world. Our condemnation will have little effect. They will ultimately be judged at a higher level.

I'm for an Allen West, Sarah Palin, or Chris Christie type. I think we need a kick your butt individual in the oval office who is not afraid to take on, to clean up, and to clean out government of the waste, fraud, and corruption.

My response to this statement is that "losing" is NOT an option. Certainly not this time around.
Of course we don't want the "wrong guy" in the running. That would assure us a loss. But I will keep my powder dry on who I support until the names are all in.

Right now the old boys' club is pushing Romney and Huckabee. As a conservative, independent voter, they will not get my one vote. That would be the same as voting for BO for 4 more years.
To me the perfect ticket would be Palin and Ron Paul. Palin is a manager and Paul is a doer. Between the both of them, they could accomplish much. I additionally believe that Sarah would allow Paul much more responsibility to act more as a real vice president than as a jester or paper weight like our current joke of a vp.
I'll get creamed for this, but that's how I see it if we wish to turn this country around. .

Pam, specifically, I think you are wrong. In the case in point, it is not envy. It is fear.
However, overall, you are right. The left is fueled by an overwhelming envy that allows their unabridged hypocrisy and penchant for short sighted action to rule their day.
They envy success. They envy freedom of choice (or, if you like, freedom of opinion). They envy the resounding assuredness that most Americans have in their day to day lives.
The envy orginates from a pure and simple inability to look in the mirror and accept responsbility.
They will claim they fight for the poor, the working families (whatever the he11 that means), the disenfranchised and the underserved. Never once wondering just maybe if people are at all responsible for their own lot in life.
So, while they fight for the poor and underserved; the complete absolution of responsibility for self and the misplacement of blame prevents them from making 'progress'. And, envy grows as they watch others work within the system of America and actually make progress. And, again, it can't be the individuals ability that leads to success…..it must be the system. So the system must be changed.
They fear Palin. They don't envy her.
Chris Christie has a lot to be admired, however he has not joined with the 20 state lawsuit against Obamacare and I cannot get past that.
Don't trust him.
They see her as a threat, which as I said in an earlier post, is our sign that this is the person to support.

The more the media and the left pontificate over Palin's use of words, the more they show their true colors. Andrea Mitchell came out and called Sarah Ignorant, thus totally ignoring those Democrats who've used 'Blood Libel" as well.
Personally, I think the use of the words was intentional, to draw the fire and ire of the radical left. An article written just ONE DAY PRIOR to Palin's statement also used 'blood libel" without one word from the media or the Democrats.
They ignore the rest of her message and focus on two words, creating an 'issue' that supports their meme of 'vitriol on the Right"
The Left's feigned outrage and their vicious attacks on Palin and the Tea Party will only hurt them, nay even destroy them in the long run. The great "unwashed masses" of America may not use Twitter or Facebook or vist the Daily Kos and Huffington Post as promenantly as those on the Left do, but they know what is right and wrong.

I am not convinced she deserves support just because they fear her. But, it is a sign they recognize the chink in their own armor.
I think part of their fear is that she is a strong female. Certainly, the Dems have a tradition of strong females of their own (pelosi, boxer, hillary, etc).
The difference is that Palin espouses personal strength and independence. While the strong Democrat females prop up leftist ideology of state dependency and victim hood.
What if all those middle of the road women truly start to identify with Palin? What if they look to her as a role model? Or, at least, agree with some of her ideology? Uh oh. You lose a lot of votes.

I thnk that what Sarah is up to is to draw as much fire as possible, to allow the nation to see the depths to which the left will go to destroy while at the same time offering nothing to raise everyone's standard of living. She knows that, as ugly as this Arizona display was, it is nothing compared to the artillery that the left will point at her (oops, didn't mean to be militaristic with that…) the closer the election comes.

That is a good quote. Whenever I run into such types who will sit there and talk about the moral failings of conservatives or figureheads. I humbly remind them that "in order to fall off the path one must already be walking on it".

Actually, I did MCT (Marine Combat Training) on Camp Geiger which is a part of Lejeune, then was stationed at MCAS Cherry Point (about 45 minutes from Lejeune) for 4 years.
They said Ronaldus Maximus was unelectable and he turned out to be one of the best ever. He even came close to winning all the electoral votes in 1984 (525 of the 538). In fact Reagan came with in just 3761 votes of winning ALL 50 states and thus all electoral votes. The way they fear and hate Sarah, they are telling us, she is definitely electable. Is she the best candidate, IMHO maybe not, but if she were the nominee I'd vote for her in a heart beat. Not only is Obama the worst ever, he doesn't even have time for the job! He spends more time golfing, vacationing and at parties than any other president in history. He doesn't even take the job seriously.

I've complained for years that conservatives are quick to leave their wounded behind on the battlefield, something that's not lost on the Left, by the way. Palin isn't one of those people and that's what is so awesome about her.
The Left desperately wanted something that would demolish the Tea Party as Oklahoma City demolished the militia movement of the 1990s, something that would destroy Sarah Palin's political power, something that would ruin the credibility of conservative opinion leaders/pundits, something that would bring the House Republicans to heel, something that would make gun control a popular issue again, and something that would bring back the Fairness Doctrine or other means to silence critics. They thought they had it all with this shooting and they ran toward it with all of the zeal of a kid running toward Santa's gifts on Christmas morning. Look at the true, dark heart of the Left: a movement that wants to steal your liberty and if you get in its way, steal your life.
A Palin/Paul ticket would rock. Between her charisma and his smarts, and the backbone shared by both, they'd be able to lead this country to new heights.

Rather, I can't think of two people who show the real contrasts not only between the Democrats and Republicans but within the Republican party. One may not agree with everything Paul or Palin takes a stand on but with those two it would offer a real choice for American voters. A choice sadly, that American voters rarely are offered.

Second, for some reason I don't believe that you actually believe that what Sarah said was anti-semitic. There have been a few things written about it, including by one of your own (Dershowitz), that show very clearly that it isn't.
Just like it's very clear that Loughner is just nuts and nothing else and that no one is to blame for what happened but him.
And yet you post this statement and the Left still bloviates on and on about "violent rhetoric" etc., even admitting that violent rhetoric was not involved in this case.
