What a joker
It's plausible deniability. If ever pinned down on a statement, he can claim he actually said the opposite. (Which is half true since he said both.) Politicians have used this for years, just not to this extent.
But Barry must expand the truth…it’s for the children…don’t you know?

Sometimes it's called 'talking out of both sides of your mouth'…saying one thing one minute, then exactly the opposite the next…yep, that's doublespeak…the #1 thing he will be known for when history bothers to write about him!
It all sounds good but is designed to catch America off guard while the Mugabe-Chavez wannabe and his cronies loot our Treasury.
No matter how you flip it, a deceitful container of excrement is still a fallacious bulge of fecal matter.

Obama has perfected the technique of telling us how he's going to dismantle the US while making it sound as if this is going to be a "good" thing. He may doublespeak, but one side of that coin is always honest.
Unfortunately, the honest side of the coin is never the side that actually sounds like good plan to most Americans…
And the honest side is what frightened those of us who were paying attention before the election.

I agree with you. While begging in favor of Coakley, he said she was the right person for the job because she believed in "fundamentally changing" America- as if that's a good thing.

The eeriest sight of this video was the look of amazement that the young Kennedy was emitting at the end of Obama's STOTU.
It reminded me of the same looks young Germans had after one those Hitler speeches.
The words are no longer important, it is the moment and feeling one is experiencing that matters.
I bet young Kennedy felt like going out into the night and start breaking all the glass windows at the shops.

Bush was a war monger, and Barry seems to be one too. We just can't get our elected officials to do something about their lust for policing the world.
The fundamentals of America are what has made it great. The fact is Progressives, Liberals, Democrats and (I'm ashamed to say) some Republicans, have twisted the role and enlarged the scope of Government- That is what needs to change!
Two of the fundamentals are, in fact, keeping this Union intact right now, i am convinced.
Without the first and second amendments, we would be so screwed…

Doubletalk is right!! Maybe Mr O needs to do a spot check on his speeches before he actually does them. This doesn't surprise me one bit, This man has never gotten out of campaign mode, he thinks he's still out there campaigning. He just doesn't reaffirm confidence in me. I'm not too sure what the country is in for the next 3 years. Heaven help us all.
Joe Wilson did and look what happened to him. Remember all he thinks he's right and we're all stupid. We just need to keep the pressure on him and make sure he is accountable for what he does and what his administration does.
I think two different people wrote this speech and when they merged it, they failed to reconcile the differences.
I couldn't agree more. I kept tapping my heels together saying, "There's no place like home! There's no place like home! There's no place like home", in the hopes that I would wake from this nightmare! It's like the reverse of the Wizard of Oz! Instead of a genius with good intentions at the end, there is a maniacal, narcissistic leader playing to the masses with his trance-like speeches and rhetoric. Did you see the Rep shaking his head as obama was finishing? it was like he was saying the same thing… "I can't believe this is real and happening".
After we take these politcians out of office in November; tell them they can have part of their pension back after they serve their jail terms. Of course; we will by then have put a cap on their salaries of how much they are worth. Maybe even time and a half; but just plain time is better.

What if we don't want to "fundamentally change" America, Mr Obama? Because I don't. In fact, I don't think I know one person who wants to "fundamentally change" America.
I am sure many Obama voters have deep regrets now that they have actually started to listen.

Scary part is that progressives never give back what they have stolen! obama was the "prefect choice" to be president "chosen" personally by "the two white weathermen" in Chicago back in the 60's to have blacks rule America!
