Unfortunately, even though most of our elected officials have failed and betrayed us, should they rightfully lose their seats, they still win, BIG. They turn up in cushy jobs with special interests/lobbies, juicy tax payer funded retirements, platinum health plans, and untold wealth from briberies. Let the INDEPENDENT investigations begin; indictments, trials, and punishment for treasonous behavior(s)proceed. No rewards for criminals.
I would expect very few of the characters in this show would be returning for a second season.
Good idea….but I am afraid it would never happen because they are "better than us" and do not, in their minds, deserve to go to jail for their good intentions. These idiots live in a fantsy world.

An easy fix to that problem would be for "we the people" to demand from the next congress, the end of the lobby. Now, I don't mean that anyone can't speak to the powers that be about their favorite pet project, (freedom of speech), but, no money or gifts shall be allowed by anyone. Also, no member of congress shall be allowed to work for anyone who've addressed congress for at least 10 years after. Next, we the people must demand that any and all members involved in congress now, must be investigated by a special committee. If there is anything that might be considered dubious, they must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, no exceptions!

As if we need something else to be against Rangel for. Here's an article where he says Cuomo should not run against Gov. Patterson in NY state because Cuomo is white, and Patterson is black. He says Cuomo has gotten on the good side of the black community, and challenging Patterson would basically undo all that good will. I wish I was making this up…

I've been seeing alot lately..when Democrats are making statements to the news media, they all lie. They think we the people are stupid enough not to know the truth. If they are not stopped, we will become the next Soviet Union.
Chavez is more like the older brother who is the leader of some kind of street gang & BO is the new recruit. He has to show him the ropes, kick him around a bit then teach him how to force the neighborhood how to bend to his will. BO still has a lot to learn about being an upstanding communist in the world of Chavez.
We are half way there already. The legislation in Congress alone can set the stage for that to be much farther off.
