We are at a point where the American working class braces itself every time The Great Failure mounts the podium and opens its mouth.
……and the amount of demagoguery, doublespeak and outright lies that spew forth is disgusting, to say the least. I can't even bring myself to listen to this talking head anymore, my head just wants to explode.

Scandals like this always remind me how the naiver sort of left-winger distinguishes socialism from fascism: "Socialism is where government owns and controls business; fascism is where government and corporations work together."
It's not crony capitalism. Let's stop using their language. Call it what it really is: Crony Socialism.
Gutfeld has made this point on Fox – it's hard to get worked up about a scandal, however egregrious, when the intentions were so overtly benevolent. I.e. to push the energy industry forward into the promised land.
The Obama Administration likely believed that the loan guarantees would give Solyndra the boost they needed to succeed, and then Obama could subsequently bask in the glory of being the Great One who conducted a reluctant nation to the new clean-energy millennium.
Why? To Win the Future.
This isn't back door anything, it's front door full on fraud. Obama needs to go to jail for this! The taxpayer money is not for him to play venture capitalist with. Especially for an industry that has very little business, and that was already turned down by real venture capital people.
Follow the money. The company already sold itself all the inventory and assets under a new name. If that's not fraud I don't know what is.
Not really….this was just another exaple of crony-capitalism, socialist/progressive/commie/fascist style. Obviously, this was payback for political support, and a heavy-handed, naked example at that.

There are VERY few differences in communism and fascism, even fewer still between socialism and fascism, as they all fall under the guise of progressivism.They all share a cadre of like-minded founders.
