Defund the NLRB NOW! It is a microcosm of the macro-corrupted Fereral Government. During this present fabricated debt ceiling crisis, why is there no pending legislation to eliminate all of the useless and cost probitive alphabet agencies and all of the unchecked czars? DC corruption is at the root of our debt crisis. Reducing the corruption by eliminating unneeded government controls and waste will automatically solve our debt crisis. All constitutionaly mandated power must be returned to the states and We the People.
Rattle this phrase in your head a few times and ask yourself if it sounds even remotely logical:
"Government Employee Union"
The funny thing about the NLRB's allegedly independent status…
Every member of the executive arbitration committee and every employee is receiving benefits and pay under a "contract" that nobody but the "government employee union" members that wrote it have ever seen…
How convenient.

Dear President Obama,
I was once sitting at a bar, you could say it was future training:) On the television was a baseball game, I think it was the Yankees, might have been the Mets, no, it was the Yankees. Anyway, I’m at this bar, while at one of those family parties, and this guy from the old country is there. If I need to explain to you what and where the old country is, this nation is in far deeper trouble then even I can imagine. Anyway, being young and dumb and all the rest, I see that Don Mattingly is up at bat. Again being young and dumb and wanting to show how smart I was I offer him a bet. One dollar that old Donny Boy hits a single before his turn at bat is complete. As the pitches pass I’m beginning to worry about my dollar ending up in someone else's pocket. Well, as old Mr. Mattingly walks to his base and my dollar becomes someone else’s property I was treated to a little lesson.
The old guy says, “That was a dumb bet.” I ask why and then I launch into all of the times that I saw Mattingly hit, and he was real good at getting on base, so why not go for it? Then he said you did not account for all of the other possibilities, a walk, a strike out, fly out, a double, a hit batter, or a million other things that might have happened. Then he sees me getting down. He says, “ . . . look its not that your upset about losing the dollar, your upset because you lost, if you want to win most of the time, don’t bet.” Wise words that I’ll always remember. What I can’t understand is how so many people bet so much on one mans political career only to face a titanic size opposition and get zero, zip, nada of what they paid for. That’s not a bet a sane person makes.
I guess what I’m trying to say is this. There are a million things that are just normally going to go wrong, and when someone is operating from the position of doing the wrong thing or not being honest with his or her beliefs only more chaos ensues. That is why most things become charlie foxtrot in life. Whether it is a marriage or a nation. Under the best of circumstances we are lucky to have good outcomes, but when we lie, cheat, and steal – no good can ever come from that. There comes a moment when a man must decide “do I do the right thing here and now or do I keep placing a losing bet?” Democrats are now asking themselves that question, do they want to continue to bet on you Mr. Obama?
The answer seems to be no. Because they are rapidly realizing the real and terrible reality of what someone once said about a free lunch not really being free. They know that the nearest thing to magic economic fairy dust is generations away, and if we want to create it we need the best minds working on the toughest problems to get that job done. I would argue that one of my job’s as an American is to protect that space of free enterprise to allow that innovation to occur. It is crystal clear that while I’m alone trying to defend the air that America lives on you are standing on the air hose, and there is only one way to ask you to remove your foot from it. I need a candidate, with any luck it will be Governor Palin, I need a Herculean effort from her, I need an election which so long as the political class does not throw a third party up to keep you in power. All the rest is just paperwork. America has had enough agitation and dissension. It is time for comity and common cause. We had hoped you would provide this via your considerable oratory skills, but we were wrong, and those who voted for you were terribly wrong. Why keep playing a losing game when we have the opportunity to pick a winner with a proven track record and almost every email she has ever written public knowledge?
That seems like a bet that I’d even take, I think America will too:)
Respectfully,
Joe Doakes
What we need to do is stop accepting the premise that the NLRB is legitimate and has any lawful standing. They clearly are ruling purely based on a political agenda and not law. They don't deserve any respect or standing. Indeed, they don't even have any Constitutional standing to exist.
The commerce clause was intended to prevent states from discriminating against other states, ie: setting up interstate trade barriers. When the NLRB establishes essentially exactly THAT (ie: businesses in forced union states are not allowed to move or open operations in non forced union states) they have no legitimate authority.
Congrats Missy, WU just resigned.
Indeed! That… is the right question.
They have no such power…they have over-stepped and the communists therein are in big trouble…see on the horizon, there is a wonderful wave coming…a Tsunami of Tea Party Freedom and Restraint of Govt. The NLRB folks should leave now and avoid their prosecutions and consequences for Marxist betrayals…FCC, too…and on and on….Democrats have betrayed America and will pay dearly.
Unfortunately it won't matter much with the rigged election system here in Oregon, the unions count the "mail in election" votes.
Against the USA, Naked Communist Conspiracy, NWO!

Agreed, agreed, agreed. They make (or back) false claims, then they make it extremely clear that losing is a foregone conclusion. Everyone I know who has hit by one of these types of charges (myself included) settles to avoid court costs and a guaranteed loss.
