Ex-Moderate Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) Embraces Communist Van Jones
by Matthew VadumFacing what could become a bruising primary battle, appointed U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) is embracing one of President Obama’s best known communist appointees, former green jobs czar Van Jones.
The Hill reports Gillibrand will share the stage with Jones at a panel discussion sponsored by the Advocacy Project at the Harvard Club in New York. Jones, a self-described “communist,” was pushed out of the Obama administration five months ago following the embarrassing revelation that he was a 9/11 “truther” who had signed a petition accusing the U.S. government of orchestrating the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
For a time, Jones had been politically radioactive to Democrats but Gillibrand’s decision to work alongside him appears to bring Jones’s political exile to an end.
Gillibrand, who had a reputation as a moderate Democrat before entering the U.S. Senate, has been steadily tacking to the left since being appointed to replace Secretary of State Hillary Clinton so it’s no surprise that she is cozying up to her party’s radical left-wing.
Gillibrand was one of only seven senators who voted against de-funding the radical leftist group ACORN known for its decades of involvement in election fraud. At the time she defended her vote, telling the New York Post through a spokesperson, “The truth remains that thousands of New York families who are facing foreclosure depend on charitable organizations like ACORN for assistance.”
The panel-sponsoring Advocacy Project was founded by Democratic operative Erica Payne, who was a key figure in the founding of the George Soros-led Democracy Alliance, an ultra-secretive billionaires’ club that funds political projects aimed at turning America into socialist Europe.
“Van Jones is a globally recognized, award-winning pioneer in the green jobs movement. He also happens to be a super fun speaker so this will be a very lively conversation!” Payne wrote in an invitation to the March 8 event. Payne also describes Gillibrand and Jones as “two awesome leaders” and refers to Jones as a “Green Jobs legend.”
The Agenda Project was ”formed to help realize the promise of this pivotal moment in American history,” according to Payne. It will conduct “several by-invitation-only gatherings around policy and political strategy” over the next year, she is quoted as saying.

Natural gas is also a very promising source of clean energy, and it is abundantly accessible IN AMERICA and could completely free us from foreign oil. The smartest thing we could do immediately to produce jobs for our people is to free up drilling (on and offshore) and natural gas. Even coal must be mined to provide jobs and energy resources. Any new technology must be secondary to immediately stimulate jobs and energy, both of which we need to crank up at full speed.

Speaking from experience, NY repubs are, politically, sort of like southern blue dog dems. That being said it is possible for extreme liberals to lose in NY, they usually try to appeal to NYC voters and get decimated in the somewhat more conservative upstate regions.
Gillibrand is in office today because the local republican committee selected another McCain to run against her and the national party would not endorse a good conservative candidate against a bad repub.
And we are proud of it. It was alot of work and passion. We now turn it to Barney Frank and others. I wish NY luck. Hopefully you guys can help Pelosi clean the swamp by starting with Rangle.

Back in 1994, Howard Stern briefly ran for Governor of New York on the Libertarian line. Perhaps we could encourage Stern to run against Schumer. What the heck – it worked for Al Franken, right? But the real upside would be watching Schumer desperately trying (& failing) to handle the situation.

Glen Beck has a history of stretching the truth, twisting the truth, making huge leaps, without factual back up. Glen Beck went after Van Jones after the group that Van Jones once belong to went after advertisers, in response to Becks racists remarks.

According to the government, fires, primarily, leveled this building, but fires have never before or since destroyed a steel skyscraper. Larry Silverstein on the subject of 9/11. Silverstein states, "I remember getting a call from the, fire department commander, telling me that they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire, and I said, "We've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it. And they made that decision to pull and we watched the building collapse.
This is just one of many problems with the official version of events of that day, I think all patriotic Americans should be demanding answers, not destroying careers for asking what we should all be asking.

This is ludicrous. I recently heard that the NAACP, a much respected association, has given an honorary award to Van Jones, an admitted communist and 9/11 conspiracy supporter, and former czar on Pres. Obamas staff.
I don't understand how anyone would give an award to this man. His anti-American remarks are also very alarming. He stated "give them the wealth," at a conference, meaning that income should be taken from Americans who work and given to those who are lazy and have no ambition. He also stated that "White Americans," are poisoning the black communities, I find this remark reverse prejudice on his part. I also thought that the NAACP was against racism. I am not a racist, but this man is not worthy of any award from anyone and you Sen. Gillibrand should not be associating with him.
