Please READ HIS BOOKS. Yes, he is an author. "Open Society" and "Bubble of American Supremacy"
He clearly outlines his world vision that:
America is just another place, and not a very benevolent one
The world should be run by an international group who have absolute financial control. Instead of bombing anyone who disagrees with them back to the stone age, they want to be able to bankrupt them back.
And how will they raise the funds to do this? Taxes on International investment and CARBON TAXES.
Any questions why the left is willing to go to any means to push Carbon Cap and Trade?
