ACORN Operative Patrick Gaspard Received Colleague at White House
by Matthew VadumWhite House political director Patrick Gaspard met with ACORN spokesman and lobbyist Scott Levenson, a former co-worker, at the White House the Obama administration disclosed Friday.
Levenson’s inclusion in the newly released list of visitors to the Obama White House makes the president’s claim he’s clueless about his former employer ACORN — and its election fraud trials and tribulations — especially difficult to believe. That’s because Gaspard is President Obama’s right hand man. Some describe him as the new Karl Rove.
The purpose of the visit by Levenson (pictured below) who met with Gaspard in March was not disclosed.
The relentlessly combative Levenson, who is also a registered lobbyist for New York ACORN, was thrown out of Glenn Beck’s TV studio May 6 for suggesting during a commercial break that the TV host was racist for daring to challenge ACORN. Levenson’s been helping to coordinate ACORN’s public disinformation strategy which relies heavily on lies and misdirection.
Few would care about Levenson’s visit to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue if it weren’t for the fact that President Obama claims — unconvincingly — to be out of the loop regarding ACORN.
After the undercover prostitution sting videos first surfaced on BigGovernment.com and the “Glenn Beck Program” in September the American public began to realize that ACORN is a vast criminal conspiracy whose reach extends to the highest levels of the U.S. government.
Obama said at that time he was barely aware of ACORN’s problems. “This is not the biggest issue facing the country. It’s not something I’m paying a lot of attention to,” he told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos.
Nobody believed the president — except for certain members of the mainstream media. Evidently Anne E. Kornblut and Jason Horowitz of the Washington Post are also incurious members of the MSM. Their puff piece profile of Gaspard today suggests they have no interest in probing Gaspard’s ties to ACORN.
Gaspard, who came to the White House after serving as executive vice president of SEIU Local 1199, has ties to ACORN that go way back.
Gaspard also worked for New York’s Working Families Party, which is part of the ACORN network. ACORN chief organizer Bertha Lewis is a co-founder of that party — which endorsed Obama last year — and has close ties to Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) who has been most reluctant to have the House Judiciary subcommittee he chairs investigate ACORN. Nadler is even providing advice to ACORN through its lawyer Arthur Z. Schwartz but he refuses to address this huge conflict of interest. The congressman’s press office won’t return my calls.

Apparently ACORN and it's supporters view it as a minority centered organization. Why else would they continue to accuse skeptics of racism? That being the case they really need to rewrite their mission statement to read.

Apples to oranges. I saw that episode, and you're conveniently twisting elements. Levinson got in Beck's face at the commercial break and said that Beck was a racist and that was why Beck has been going after ACORN, which was Levinson's only defense for all the charges of voter registration fraud in ACORN. Remember, if a liberal is losing an argument to a conservative, whip out that racist card quick. So, Beck threw him out (I believe the interview was over, anyway).
If Beck had been asked by Barack Obama or any member of the White House to defend his stance on, oh, say, capitalism or the Constitution or free market principles or something else that Obama didn't agree with, and THEN Beck said to his face that he was a racist, then we'd be comparing apples to apples. But that's not what we're comparing, buckeroo.
As far as Beck reflecting on all the president's actions throughout his adult life, including many alarming passages in his two autobiographies (read what he's written about his white grandmother and how he learned the best way to "manipulate whites"… it's lamentable and supposedly, in his own words), and most importantly, his inept/biased handling of race issues while POTUS, I think Beck is on to something.
When you analyze, as Beck and many others have, the whole picture of Obama, conclusions that the president could indeed be a racist have a substantial amount of evidence to make the case.
It was no spoiled-brat tantrum for Beck, unlike the knee-jerk "RACIST" cries that Janeane Garofalo and their liberal ilk throw out when saying that HALF the country is racist because they don't agree with the president's socialist agenda (and let's just ignore all the minorities who don't agree with Obama's agenda). Or saying that all conservatives are racist. Or just screaming "racist" whenever.

Levenson is a world-class sleaze. I saw the segment on Beck and I remember this guy also made a pass at one of the women who worked on Beck's show (though it happened off-camera, so we have to take Beck's word for it. But after seeing this guy in action, I believe it). Every time I see this guy on camera it only reinforces my opinion that ACORN is one supremely corrupt organization.
I've been harping on that for half a week now. Since five minutes after the list was released. Freaking Malik Zulu Shabazz, of all people! I don't think that the "Nobody believed the president — except for certain members of the mainstream media" line is not exactly totally accurate. It's not that the MSM didn't believe so much as they didn't *want* to believe.
It's splitting hairs I know however there is a big difference between the two phrases. Didn't believe is more basing your decision on the facts presented. Didn't *want* to believe is more ignoring the facts that are staring you in the face simply to keep your head in the sand. It's something the MSM is very good at.
Levinson is about one of the slimiest characters to be found. He has to be attached to ACORN.
Obama is clueless about ACORN. He also is unaware of the weather, despite occupying a windowed office. He believes ACORN just wants to help poor people get ahead. And that earlier snows, thickening polar ice, and cooling global temps are due to the erratic nature of global warming and point to the urgent need for Cap and Trade.

I too, saw both "episodes" of Glenn Beck, the one where he said he THOUGHT Obama was a racist and had a "deep seated" hatred for whites, along with the Levenson "episode". Levenson was completely out of his element and could not argue the facts with Glenn. He was completely out-matched, overwhelmed and uninformed of his adversary's point of view.
In my humble opinion, Levenson agreed to the interview then, just knowing that he was right, did not do his homework and appeared before the "teacher" totally unprepared. As a result, he had egg and pie on his face going into the commercial break, lost it, and lashed out at Glenn. And why not play the race card, after all, it has worked for the last 20 or so years. Loser.
Glenn chewed him up and spit him out.

I think you've hit the nail on the head. Both of Obama's fathers abandoned him as did his mother and his grandparents who raised him and then pawned him off on a Commie pedophile.
