ACORN and SEIU Have Been Going Steady a Long Time: Did They Break Up?
by Matthew VadumNow that ACORN is drowning is an ocean of adverse publicity, its longtime ally the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) claims to have broken with the embattled radical left-wing activist group.
Last week SEIU international secretary-treasurer Anna Burger dropped this political bombshell that has been ignored by the mainstream media.
In response to a question from Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) posed during a meeting of the House Financial Services Committee, Burger casually noted that her union “cut all ties to ACORN.”
In an interview Monday night I asked SEIU spokeswoman Michelle Ringuette what Burger meant when she said SEIU had cut all ties with ACORN.
Ringuette replied, “We have suspended all contracts and active work with ACORN,” pending the results of a panel of inquiry looking into ACORN. SEIU boss Andy Stern sits on that supposedly independent panel.
Of course, SEIU –which is President Obama’s favorite union– could still be providing help to ACORN behind the scenes even if it publicly distances itself from the embattled activist group. Longtime lovers often sneak around together during messy breakups.
I’m skeptical that the two actually split up given the strong ties between ACORN and SEIU over the years. It’s gotten to the point that ACORN and SEIU overlap so much that they are virtually indistinguishable.

No, they did not break up. It is just another scam.
ACORN and SEIU are as separable as mercury.
During a bank robbery, one drives the get away car. They get together as planned if something goes wrong and they split up. ACORN still runs the web sites, manages and does payroll. Of course they still office together.
If a hillbilly husband and wife file for divorce, do they still call each other brother and sister? like when they were kids?
That's like Cheng "cutting all ties" with Eng (the famous Siamese twins connected at the hip). Please! This is just an attempt to throw us off the scent.
I hope for them to have the same ending as the lovers Romeo and Juliet.

This may be like watching two wild dogs who share the same territory. Long friendly with each other, very friendly, they notice their territory may be shrinking, the common food supply getting low, and they have decided their best course of action is to fight each other to the death to survive on what's left.
Even if the one is not killed in the fight, and the other does not die from its wounds, I vote for putting them down since both are disease-ridden and loaded with parasites. It's the humane thing to do.
That both are so distraught over the death of each other they both end up committing suicide (under what can be honestly viewed as darkly humorous circumstances)?

Thery're "breaking away" because they know that people are connecting dots and soon SEIU will be in the crosshairs.

With all of this coming to light it amazes me that nobody even mentions the Obama factor with ACORN & SEIU ?? They are all tied at the hip to Obama with Obama hiding behind the white house hoping he will not be revealed, it is only a matter of time before all the truth comes out and Obama will pretend to be unaware of the actions of both of these crooked organizations. He did not know that ACORN was getting federal $$ ?? Bitch PLEASE,he signed the stimulus bill that has earmarks for ACORN to the tune of $8+ billion and he knew nothing, SURE ???

Being a former SEIU member in disgust, I'm calling on all members to drop their membership. Even if you have to still pay association fees it will let SEIU know you are not going to tolerate this criminal activity. I had no idea that this was going on, and my hard earned dollars were going to theifs. Sure, your employer raised your wages-only for the union to take them. What do you get for your hard earned dollars??? An occassional meeting now&then. Sure, at first there hard on your employer if they gain access-but after awhile they are "working with your employer." It's nothing but a sham!
Here is a good hint at what OBAMA and his goons want: Government forced Unions on all businesses. My answer to the UNIONS is to bite me. I will not pay any Union blackmail money and the Government will have to kill me first. Unions = Mafia
What was the motivation behind this? Seems Republicans do not like any program simply because it is federally funded or poised to create social justice amongst the skewed image of a true free economy. Things have been ran like a ponzi scam in this country for sooo long, people want to act like this is all revelation or Obama's fault. Be mad at yourselves if anything for not being educated citizens and taking things for face value. Even just listening to Beck without doing your own research is misleading. Maybe its not deliberate, but he finds a way to elude that his opinion is the truth because its based from "facts". But, often people are statistically illiterate and stats do not always reflect the greater good, but only reflect THAT specific group or cluster being surveyed. Misleading and just as much a shiest as the liberals try to pull.
LOL Why do we have unions in the first place? If people could be trusted to run a business ethically, there would be no need to protect everything regarding business. Unfortunately, the current culture of business in America has been corrupted by greed and often puts profit over morals. Goons?? The goons were already there, you just think your on to something because you finally woke up, but you missed a lot while you were asleep when conservatives stagnated progress technologically with ignorance, which lead to fear and hate. For example, take stem cell research, why aren't we further?
