Wisconsin 2011 A Test For Obama 2012
by Media TrackersIt was recently reported that President Barack Obama’s campaign arm, Organizing for America, was assisting Democrats in the Wisconsin recall campaigns. On July 22, Organizing for America State Field Director Michelle Kleppe sent an email to supporters informing them that “in the coming weeks, volunteers will be organizing their networks, working phone banks, and knocking on doors to get the word out about what’s at stake on August 9th.” The introduction of President Barack Obama’s campaign arm into the Wisconsin recall elections understates the profound importance that Wisconsin holds for 2012 battle for the White House.
But this is not the first time that Barack Obama and his political arm have inserted themselves into the Wisconsin budget battles.
Back in February 2010, Organizing for America coordinated some of the very first Madison rallies in response to Governor Walker’s budget repair bill. Dan Grandone, State Director For Organizing for America, issued a press release saying “OFA volunteers are going to fight for our friends with state jobs, our allies in organized labor, and the freedom of all Wisconsinites to organize their communities.” OFA’s involvement in Wisconsin garnered criticism from many prominent politicians including Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner who “urged the president to order the DNC to suspend these tactics” after he accused OFA of spreading “disinformation and confusion in Wisconsin.”
President Obama’s background as a community organizer in Chicago is well documented. So it comes as no surprise that Dan Grandone, the Wisconsin State Director of Organizing for America, spent ten years as a community organizer for the Gamaliel Foundation. The Gamaliel Foundation was founded in Chicago in 1968 utilizing the tactics of Saul Alinksy to organize local church congregations. “Gamaliel” was character in the Bible whom Saul Alinksy considered to be the “the pioneer of community organizing.”
Today, Gamaliel boasts a grassroots network that in “18 U.S. states, South Africa and the United Kingdom.” Gamaliel’s mission is empower local church members “to apply their faith and values to the pursuit of equal opportunity for all, shared abundance, and stronger, more prosperous communities.” Gamaliel’s agenda includes “comprehensive immigration reform,” health care coverage “guaranteed to everyone living in the United States,” “increasing funding for mass transit,” government spending for jobs for people of low-income, and “equitable and inclusionary housing opportunities for all.”
The involvement of Organizing for America in the Wisconsin protests and recall elections is hardly surprising to many. The importance of big-labor to the Democratic Party, theprofound influence that AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka has with President Obama, and the history of community organizing among Obama and his operatives makes Wisconsin’s budget showdown a perfect proxy war.
As many have so astutely observed, Wisconsin’s political battles are “the opening salvo of the 2012 election season.”

If history is any guide he will FAIL this test with a thunderous "F" and follow up with "Twas Bush".
Not much on staying out of a losing battle is he?
The color of America is changing at the state level.

I am glad the Author(s) referred to this.
I wrote repeatedly about Gameliel in the fall of '09 here.
Connect the dots……………………………………………………………………. !
Hatch Act of 1939 violation…
Anyone???
Using the "White House Servers" (government property) to conduct campaign activities ON YOUR DIME!!!
We ignore this action at our own peril!
FIGHT on PATRIOTS!!!
.
Hold Fast Wisconsin. Don't let the libs ruin what you have achieved.
I'm getting a little long in the tooth. I have been around for awhile now. I wasn't around for WWII or the Great Depression, but in my time….I have never seen an Administration confronted by such never ending crisis.
We are dragged from one crisis to the next. With hardly time to catch our breath or orientate ourselves. Every week, we have a new threat to our ability to remain a sovereign nation.
Does this seem right to anyone? I mean, it doesn't end. Every week the government must make a decision that will dictate whether we have a future or not.
Doesn't it seem like something is very, very wrong?
Isn't it obvious that it can only be one of two things?
i) this is the most inept administration EVER and it has to end, or
ii) we are being lied to on a daily basis
I smell chicken. I think this administration was hatched from an egg.
GOOD NEWS!!!
OBAMA HAS A SECRET PLAN to solve the debt ceiling problem! YAY!!
I heard it is even better (and even more secret) than what was inside the ObamaCare bill that no one was allowed to read. This plan is sooo secret it isn't even written down. It's all in Obama's head!!! YAY!!!
So, if Congress would just do their job and approve Obama's secrethiddeninsidehishead plan…..this would all be over!!!!
YAY OBAMA, YOU SAVED US…………AGAIN!!!! YAY
OK, folks, it's our turn to help the TEA party in WI and the conservative and repub legislatures to retain their job and the dims lose theirs. WI let us know how to help you in your fight(yes, fight) to retain your state from the paws of the marxists. It would be such a smack-down for the toddler. The brat might even hide in a dark closet to pout, whine, and snivel while sucking his thumb.
Exactly why is the Obama re-election campaign organization directly involving itself in state election politics?
How can this possibly be legal?
Marxist Liberation Theology incrementally changing churches of faith into Socialism.
How many times does Socialism have to fail for the peeps to get it ???
Those that want power and control love Socialism as do lazy a$$ bums who suck the system dry.
It is a surprise that Wisconsin citizens and voters are allowing for the outsider influence to dedicate themselves to the demise of THEIR own freedom to vote what is best for their own state and it's obligations they are responsible for.
It is a very telling litmus test for all other states to view this interloping power of the highest office in America and the President of the United States of America himself. You think you are still a free people? You think this can't or wont happen in your state? You think the vines and roots of this Marxist administration can't taste the meal they have already ordered for their banquet?
Maybe it would help if every time you picture a leftest troglodyte moron… you picture the glutenous Roman emperors and their ilk…. Killing, oppressing, raping and eating everything in site then sticking their fingers down their throats to purge themselves so they can eat more!
We are up against the very same evil… they are just dressed in better clothes.
Why can't it be both things? It's not a choice. It's a partial list.
It's also a small barometer for Palin. I think that it will reveal only good things about that.
That's an alinsky and Sun TZU tactic. Keep the enemy off balance, disoriented, and confused. That way one is unable to defend or even prepare a defense.
Hoping against hope that WI voters put up a good fight. Stand strong!
If WI can be recast as a socialist free wheeling state, it tells other states which buck the socialists that they too can be brought down. That's why it's so important to aid those good folks in WI to continue the good fight and to win. Votes defeat money every time.
My gut feeling is that there are only really 2-3 seats total (for repubs and dems) that are at risk.
it's always a tough thing to unseat an incumbent, and I think a lot of Wisconsinites are pi$$ed about the outside money and influence coming in.
I don't think the dems are going to be able to pull it off, which will be extra sweet because of all the effort and money being expended. Hope I'm right
Several days ago I said he should talk to John Kerry and see if he would pull out that secret plan that he was going to show us if he was elected (right after he signed that SF-180).
Maybe Soetoro took my advice.
Here are all the Wis organizations. Tea Party Patriots is a good place to start. Look under Groups. http://www.teapartypatriots.org/State/wisconsin
In no way did progs think they would lose the Prosser election. When he won, and handily, they knew they were all in before the river and there was nothing they could do. Rather than stand down when their first stomp and run to Illinois lost, they bluffed. And they got beat.
Al their antics since have hurt them even more. No worries about how things go in Wisconsin. And you are right about Sarah, she went there for a reason………smart she is.
I see one threat that if dealt with properly, could bring world peace. Centralized Banking the cause of the financial meltdown. If you cut off the head the beast will die. This monster funds both sides of most wars, and enslaves nations. Deal with this and you will have almost won.
" . . . smart she is."
Somewhere out there a liberal just contemplated suicide.
Mrs. Palin is very smart. I would trust her with my children or my finances in one flat second.
Even my dog. (I really love my dog.)
Education and media is the problem. Few think for themselves any more, they just repeat what they hear.
It aint over yet. I doubt they will succeed. The silent majority is awake. Barring massive voter fraud, they will get a beat down. Wis should start a home schooling campaign, after this, to insure this has little impact in the future. Their children would benefit greatly too.
It just proves to me, that President Barack Obama’s campaign arm, "Organizing for America" isn't working for the betterment of America, but instead an arm of the Communist Party U.S.A.!
“When a man who is honestly mistaken hears the truth,
he will either quit being mistaken or cease being honest.”
Sort of like when pelosi insisted that they had to pass the obie care bill so they would know what was in it.
How can this possibly be legal? I guess we'll know after we elect an American president and get a legitimate Justice department.
No worries. 0bama HAS A SECRET PLAN…………………..You can find it in any Highlights magazine under the Hidden Pictures page.
There's a propaganda commercial being playing in Ohio markets, created by "The Sojourners," talking smack about Boehner, and how the most vulnerable will suffer if Republican don't capitulate to the POtuS' non-plan (yes, I editorialize…a little). It appeals to Biblical scripture, and characterizes Republicans as going against the will of G-d (this is assuming they actually believe in G-d, and that they aren't taking out the Bible from under the short table leg, only when they have to sprinkle fire and brimstone on the latest lefty meme.)
Anybody willing to vote for a Democrat has to be dumb enough to qualify for permanent mental disability payments.
The President really has no business getting himself involved with the situation in Wisconsin. It’s pretty hypocritical of him to champion workers’ rights in Wisconsin while he was freezing wages for federal employees himself (http://bit.ly/hMJe6W).
Not to mention that Governor Walker’s legislation is not only saving the budget, but also increasing jobs in the private (http://onforb.es/r7DKRq), and public (http://bit.ly/nijPnS) sectors. Unless the president wants to lobby for more unemployment and a larger deficit, going against Walker’s legislation doesn’t make any sense at all.
"It is a surprise that Wisconsin citizens and voters are allowing for the outsider influence ………"
I like it even less than you do but it's a fact of life for the moment. Madison, the state capital, is known by many as "78 square miles surrounded by reality" and provides a willing and ready home for socialists, Marxists, and reprobate leftists of every stripe. The left is threatened by their loss of power with the election of Scott Walker and the gains the state has made and the left is pulling out all the stops. It is "“the opening salvo of the 2012 election season” and a prelude of what is to come- down and dirty won't begin to describe it. The left is desperate; the loss of power, the loss of the union dues money pipeline, and perhaps their very existence will lead to desparate, underhanded tactics- they sure as hell can't run on their record.
Wisconsin in some respects is the leading edge of the left- the "Progressive Movement" was born here. If the Alinskyites lose here they will be toast almost everywhere else. You're fortunate enough to live in TX which by nature is more conservative but even there leftist influence has grown. For a big city Houston used to be a pretty conservative place (I lived in and around H-town for 15 years) but my friends that still reside there say that is no longer the case.
We've had more than half a century of Antonio Gramsci's Marxist gradualism pushing our nation to the left and now we are at the brink.- it's either us or socialism. My view is if we can turn back the leftist hordes in Wisconsin they can be turned back almost anywhere
Go ahead, please come knocking at my door all you pro-union and demonicrat meat puppets. I'll give you a nice surprise.
You won't like it, but it will be a surprise and it will put a smile on my face.
I love your quote… May I ask where it came from?
*“When a man who is honestly mistaken hears the truth,
he will either quit being mistaken or cease being honest.”*
Has O been able to help anyone he campaigned for? The special elections and the mid terms did not work out too good for him. And I'm hoping the WI recalls and the 2012 general will put the last nail in his Marxist coffin.
Thank you…it is a good one.

Update on Gunwalker: Gunwalker: One Step Closer to the Oval Office
This week's revelations placed knowledge of the operation within the White House for the first time.

"Associate with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for it is better to be alone than in bad company." George Washington
A grass roots uprising supporting a strong leader like Governor Walker could raise hell with any community organizing. It would be like a .38 in the forehead of a fancy dancing kung-fu fighter.
Ask all the rank and file union duffs in Wisconsin. Where's all their great back up the day after its all over?
(cue the crickets)
They are all back in Washington leaving them holding the bag.
