Dems Admit Rep. John Adler Planted Fake Tea Party Candidate
by Mike RomanDemocratic operatives in New Jersey are turning on Congressman John Adler (D-NJ3). Due to “ethical qualms” they have revealed the Adler campaign is behind the bogus “NJ Tea Party” candidacy of Peter DeStefano.
In May, Geoff Mackler, Adler’s Campaign Manager, along with Democratic consultant Steve Ayscue gave a presentation outlining the “DeStefano Plan” at the Camden County Democratic Committee headquarters:
“The goal was to take 5 percent of (Republican Jon) Runyan’s vote,” said a Democrat with direct knowledge of the Adler campaign and CCDC operations.
“Steve Ayscue designed the plan with Geoff Mackler following his lead.”
DeStefano first emerged in an internal poll circulated by the Adler campaign in July that showed him getting 12 percent of the vote. Until then he hadn’t announced he was a candidate.
He was immediately dismissed by Tea Party groups:
“Peter DeStefano is not, and I emphasize, not a Tea Party candidate, by any stretch. He is a shill for someone else, but certainly not what the Tea Party stands for.”
Adler denied that his campaign was behind the deception:
“I know we weren’t part of it.”
Seems that wasn’t true.

This is standard procedure for the Democrats in Illinois. Sometimes the Republicans turn the tables and do it back to the Democrats, but really, scenarios like this have been going on in Illinois for as long as I can remember.
Elected officials are entrusted with the public welfare. All the more reason that this, and other voter fraud should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!

The real tea party needs to get out in front of this and let the public know these candidates are frauds. This will also cost the Dem. votes when the people find out about the voter abuse. Get on TV. Post people outside the polls to make sure everyone knows the tea party doesn't endorse them. Tea party should also send out mailers and make these candidates pay for them in a lawsuit. Cost them MONEY, teach them a lesson.
As I read the full article I also found as part of the grand scheme the NJ DNC contacted the Young Democrats of America. Seemed they needed foot soldiers to get out and hoodwink the voters, the TRULY sickening part is, the young democrats are high school to early collage TEENAGERS…. This Corrupt pathetic party of socialist elitists are telling OUT children to go commit voter FRAUD, and to lie is the way to the means…

Great article rckmom. Hits the nail right on the head. The only thing that I see wrong with it is that Obama, unlike Fabian Socialist / Progressives, is pushing harder than they normally would. But it may be part of the bigger picture. Have Obama sacrifice himself to get a Progressive Republican in office in 2012. I am a firm believer that Bush 43 was a Progressive after reading many of his policies. There is no other explanation for it. And since all Progressive believe in the greater good. Bush says nothing when Obummer lies about him.

I am an idiot and signed this petition way back, new to the area and didn't follow politics much until recently. I feel duped and tricked. Were the kids asking me to sign liars? Where they told lies and went out and begged for signatures not knowing they were being used? I wish there was some sort of recourse, I would like to remove my signature immediately. Never again, never again. What a mess, this is how the Congressman spends his time, getting teenagers to lie to people door to door. I feel like a fool.

Can't blame you for that move. But I can tell you that I'm actually thinking about moving BACK to Jersey. And I lived in North Bergen (part of Hudson County, illegal capitol of the North East). But my thinking is this: we are in a battle for the integrity of American ideals. And no matter what else I can say about Jersey, it IS a place where anyone who WANTS to work, can. If I make that move, it'll be because that no matter what I don't like about Jersey, I will be able to make enough money to survive. I can't say that about the other areas of the country that I have lived. I wish you luck if your move to Tx. But I am tired of running away from the encroachment of socialism and "collectivism" that has taken over our free market capitalism mindset. Take that for whatever it's worth.

What's really amazing to me is not that there's "hope" for NJ. It's that Jersey isn't an economic powerhouse. Just think about the concentration of manufacturing, industrial processing, plus agriculture all crammed into a relatively small state. Everything that once created wealth in this country. You'd have to intentionally set out to harm that State for it to have fallen into the red. Hopefully Christie will help bring things around again, because NJ is a place that belongs at the front line of expanding wealth. Best of luck. If I make the move back, I'll let you know.
