VIDEO: 62 Arrested as Occupy DC Hits K Street
by MRC TVLANGUAGE WARNING – Dozens of Occupy DC protesters were arrested on K Street in Washington D.C. today for obstruction of a public highway. When we at MRCTV arrived, police began the process of arresting the participants.
However, while the protesters were lying in the streets, blocking traffic, and refusing to move, one Occupy participant warned them to move because they did not have the money to bail them out. We interviewed him while the arrests were underway and he told us they were not instructed to be arrested at that given time. The protester insinuates, like other videos have shown, arrests from the Occupy movements are staged as theatrics to draw attention to the group- which one attendee told us off camera.
Officer Hugh Carew from the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department told MRCTV that 62 people have been arrested. Of the 62, the public affairs official stated 61 were for obstruction of a public highway. He was unsure about the last arrest.

Whatever is wrong with the system, is not going to be solved by a bunch of latter day hippies huddling around Coleman lanterns nattering about 'power to the people' while waiting for bankers to jump off buildings. They are a smelly nuisance, infringing on other peoples' rights to use the city parks, sidewalks, and patronize small business they've adversely affected.
Good grief, don't lay down in the streets and piss off people who are just trying to get to work. Take your signs and your protests straight to capitol hill and the White House. All of this country's problems stem from those two places.
These folks need to make up their minds. They're either maddest at the government or they're maddest at corporations. If it's the first option, that's great. Their anger is directed at the right target. If it's the second option, they're fools. None of this can happen without a government as big and powerful as ours. The answer isn't simply to use government to benefit different people; the answer is to weaken government so that no one can exploit it to his or her advantage.
While many of them are misguided and probably lost for good, I believe some of these folks can still be educated. Winning them over to our side should be an important part of our strategy.

These people are idiots. Someone could've been hurt due to their own stupid actions. The weird part is that if someone had gotten run over because they were lying in the street, they'd paint themselves as the victim.
Convincing them to not hate the successful and to take responsibility for their own lives would be a good start. But they've been convinced they're victims, so good luck with that.

Blocking things is all progressives can do. Think about it. Name one productive thing they have ever done? One thing they have ever built. The only thing they can do is step out of the bushes and break runner's legs so they can't win a race. Name one thing they would sacrifice that they built for themselves. You can't.
Imagine your whole life is nothing more than being a ball and chain. And anchor. Holding others back. Obstructing people. Sabotaging others who do produce and who do succeed. That's all progressives can do. That's their whole ideology. Look at every one of their means to solve issues (which they don't). Regulation, control, dictatorial, monopolizing, force.
You'd think if they wanted to help poor people they would generate wealth and then give it to poor people. Instead the just steal it. None of their so called solutions involve building something and instead revolve around stealing from others.
Yeah its real easy to be a lump of flesh blocking a road. How about becoming the person who builds the road or the people who travel down the road to jobs that generate wealth. Nah… too difficult.

Since I have been accused of being an occupier, when in truth I am free and unaffillated … I will give a list of my demands.
1.end gerrymandering, all public funding of political parties, and all election laws and practices they give a party advantage over another.
2.. end the income tax.
3. send illegals home and secure the border.
4. do not touch SS until there is nothing left to cut..

Most of the people in the Occupy Protests are searching for a God, their god the government has turned against them…..They are waking up to the fact that their god is pagan…It is the "Progressive" government ideology!!!
