Viva the Bill Ayers Weatherman Revolution v. the Tea Party Movement
by Marinka Peschmann[Note: This is Part II in an ongoing series about the Clinton Redux, the Obama Administration and their political wars against Americans. Click here for Part I and Part II]
The attacks on the tea party movement are continuing. In a March 28 New York Times article, When Does Political Anger Turn to Violence? The NYT ran a photograph juxtaposing the 1960s terrorist group, the Weather Underground Organization, on top of a photo of protestors protesting Obamacare in Washington.
The caption: “Varying degrees of rage: The Weathermen, including Bill Ayers, second from right, during the Days of Rage in 1969, and anti-health reform protesters in Washington on Sunday.”
In the article, the “anti-health reform” protestors are identified as tea party protestors. Bill Ayers, an unrepentant terrorist and former leader of the Weathermen, by his own account, is President Obama’s “family friend,” At minimum, Ayers launched Obama’s political career from his house in Chicago. Today he is a “distinguished” professor. During his Weathermen days, Ayers said: “We are revolutionary Communists. We’re fighting to destroy imperialism and established (sic) a socialist state.” Does that sound like the Tea Party Movement?
Let’s take a look at Ayers’ Weathermen to distinguish where their anger came from that turned to violence to see if the NYT is on to something. We know the anti-health reform/tea party protestors are angry over Obamacare.
To start, to my knowledge, the tea party protestors have not traveled to Fidel Castro’s Cuba to conspire against America, unlike Bill Ayers. According to a series of declassified 1976 FBI reports, released under the Freedom of Information Act, Ayers, and his future wife Bernadine Dohrn traveled to Castro’s Cuba before the October 1969 Days of Rage riots as part of the Venceremos Brigades.
The Venceremo Brigades was a Cuban spy operation tasked to recruit “individuals who are politically oriented and who someday may obtain a position, elective or appointive, somewhere in the U.S. Government, which would provide the Cuban Government with access to political, economic and military intelligence.”
“The ideological mating between the American radical left and the Vietnamese Communist, with Fidel Castro playing matchmaker, exploded in…the streets of Chicago. It is love that feeds the inextinguishable hate against the United States.”
Following are highlights–according to the FBI.
In a September 1969 speech entitled “A Strategy to Win” Weatherman Ayers said, “We’re not just saying… bring the U.S. troops home and deploy them some place some other time, we’re saying bring the war home…”
How did Weatherman Ayers propose to achieve his objectives? By quickly setting up a “National Action Staff,” all over the county to “build a revolutionary youth movement…”
POLITICS AND STRATEGY: BRING THE WAR HOME!
One of the most important reasons for calling the National Action lies with the decision… that it was possible and necessary to build an anti-imperialist, working class youth movement in the mother country…
And what became clear to people—through the struggles at Columbia and Chicago, at San Francisco State and at Kent State—was that putting forward our politics in an aggressive way was the ONLY way to organize the masses of people in this country. That only by dealing with the issues of white supremacy, the black liberation struggle, Third World struggles, and the fight against imperialism, only by challenging the consciousness of the people could we ever develop a movement capable of helping topple the imperialist state…
Chicago is the site…We are coming back to turn pig city into the people’s city.”
After Ayers’ Days of Rage, a four-day “war on the Chicago police” where 287 people were arrested and 59 police officers “sustained personal injury,” the FBI report tells us on October 21, 1969, the New Left Notes reported a Weatherman update:
“…We came to do material damage to pig Amerika and all that it’s about — its school-jails, its pig armies, its fat businessmen, and its greedy empire. We came to do it in the road—in the open—so that white Amerika could dig on the opening of the a new front, on the birth of a new brigade in the world liberation army. We came to attack—because we know that the only things to defend in honkie Amerika are the privileges—the cars, the apartments, the hotels, the TV’s,–that we’ve gained off the sweat of the people of the world. We came to vamp on those privileges and destroy the m—–f—– from the inside…
From here on it’s one battle after another… Pig Amerika—Beware: There’s an army growing right in your guts, and it’s going to help bring you down.”
Now we have a good idea where the Weathermen anger came from. Was NYT attempting to draw a moral equivalency to the tea party movement and Ayers’ Weathermen?
That remains unclear as does the reason why Ayers, who dodged prison because of a prosecutorial misconduct, befriended Barack Obama.
Perhaps, the FBI report offers an answer, “Good revolutionaries are never deterred by odds.”
Incidentally, Bill Ayers expertise in creating youth movements may help explain how President Obama, formerly a relatively unknown Senator from Chicago, was able to build such a remarkable youth movement and grass roots organization that outmaneuvered Hillary Clinton and propelled him into the White House. Perhaps that’s a story the New York Times might want to check out.

This is all part of the DNC messaging war. They are trying to define the Tea Party as extremists. They have been pushing this message for a while now.
http://www.PoliticalCentrist.com News and views for independent voters
this commie scum is now in power in this country and financed by soros , buffet, bloomberg, turner. wake up!!!
Bill Ayers is a traitorous communist and terrorist…Barry Obama launched his political career at Bill Ayer's house…
…what are we, naive…?
Been to Tea Party rallies and will be at the one in Chicago, so know a little something about them,………….
Have never seen a Tea Party participant wear a helmet,……………..??????????
Why is Billy and several others in their march wearing them,……..??????????
Poor purposeless, unprincipled Bill Ayers; and 60s throwback, burned-out Rebel Without a Cause (or a Clue).
I see no similarity between Weatherman and Tea Party.
I feel a connection with the Tea Party, but no connection with the Weathermen.
NYT is grasping at straws in order to sell newspapers and mislead the public!
btw, I'm proud to associate with the Tea Party (and Libertarians).
New York Times is to the Democrats as Pravda was to the Communist Party. Pelosi said "release the hounds" and the Times started baying.
“…We came to do material damage to pig Amerika and all that it’s about — its school-jails, its pig armies, its fat businessmen, and its greedy empire. "
And We The People aim to do just the opposite, so where's the equivalency?
Dear New York Times: Tea Partiers are just that-against high taxation, huge government, communists and marxists and socialists running America. That's what Tea Partiers are against. Will Tea Partiers become violent? No. Remember Tea Partiers are the group that put their heads down and worked harder when government told them to "pay more taxes to help the sick, the poor, this disenfranchised". Tea Partiers are decent, law abiding Americans. The cause of the Tea Partier's dissatisfaction is that sooner or later decent people wake up and realize they have been supporting communists, marxists, and socialists. Uh Oh, Washington, your time is up-out you go. One more thing, New York Times, do not for a second belive your newspaper is immune to government take over.
Ah, the old Clinton tactic of the 4 D's: Deceive, Discredit, Deception and Destroy.
Game on!
Ayers, Rezko, Obama, Soros, Jarrett, Axelrod, Emmanuel, Pelosi, Reid, Gibbs. The ingredients for socialist stew.
Darby,
Thanks for the interesting link. Getting BALANCED news is next to impossible and this site looks very promising. Like Breitbart…they seem to cover many bases with wow…actually FACTS instead of political talking points. Who knew!
Appreciate the head's up.
I saw as much as the media would dare to print & show on tv of their rotten subversive movement.
I understand there are those among us such as yourself, who were not privy to all these goings on,
due to your age. That they were allowed to go underground, & in no less than the field of education
is all the proof I need to realize their movement never died. They have been benignly hiding in plain
sight among the tenured elite academy, waiting, working toward their goal, the destruction of our rep-
resentative republic. The 08 election was their crowning achievement. As they have lived their lives
in the shadows, they now celebrate their victories quietly, but never doubt they celebrate. Do we think
if we beat them this time they will be gone forever? Hardly ! The TEA Party Movement can in no way be
equated to those subversives of the 60's. In my opinion we should never even entertain the parallel.
Here we go again…
"The Venceremo Brigades was a Cuban spy operation tasked to recruit “individuals who are politically oriented and who someday may obtain a position, elective or appointive, somewhere in the U.S. Government…"
None of this is an accident. It never was. And it is not a conspiracy either. It is just one of the great, purposely ignored, stories of all time. These people have been at it for decades. Sometimes they f*ck up and say what they believe in public.
http://www.uhuh.com/nwo/communism/comgoals.htm
Wait, isn't this the sort of comparison we need? Ayers was a "terrorist" then and now he's in the White House. If the Tea Parties just keep following Ayers' lead, the Tea Partiers will make it to the White House too!
Both the republicans (right) and democrats (left) dislike populist movements.
Think COINTELPRO and the recent FBI infiltration of Hataree and suspected provoking by the FBI.
You can be assured that the Tea Party will be infiltrated and provoked towards violent activity.
With Bush and Obama, any anti government rhetoric is suspect of being criminal.
Yeah…
I don't follow the Bush reference.
Elaborate please, because I remember a nice peaceful break from this stuff between Janet Reno and Eric Holder.
But maybe I'm ignorant.
Just let the imbiciles keep up their smear campaign. It will only serve to forge the resolve of the tea partiers even more. I have been to several tea party gatherings, including Searchlight, and have encountered stable, patriotic, and sane people who truly care about their country and the future of their children.
The left is so stupid – and that includes the failing MSM – that they have no other cards to play other than to apply labels and use the worn-out race card. Their "cry wolf" tactic no longer works. We don't care what they say about us or what accusations they make. Besides, as long as they keep trying to demonize us, the more people we get to join the group!
Keep it up fools!
How do you think they regained power in 2008? Plant the seeds for a Crisis…i.e. Economic collapse…and blame it on those in power.
Rahm tipped his hand.
btw, you can just edit your original post.

Caught a little of Rush today and he was sayin the same thing. First the Dems tried to demonize the war, and when that didn't work the kept crying "recession" until it happened (with a little help, okay a lot, from Bawney Fwank and Dodd). The Dems ARE trying to create a permanent underclass and all of the new taxes and regulations will stifle upward mobility. It is intentional. This group didn't start it, but they are close to changing this nation forever. And NOT for the better…
Like the new avatar…
I'm with Spliff, please elaborate…
Next time these A-holes walk through a crowd of tea-partiers they should be met by absolute silence and as little movement as possible. Imagine 30-40,000 people standing at attention, looking at you with contempt and not saying a word. Bet they'd freak pretty hard…
People on the right hate "populists" who lie about the essential and exceptional nature of America and her founding and purpose.
Sounds more like bio-hazardous waste to me, but to each their own…
My point is that you can except infiltration into the Tea Party and provacateurs to entice tea partiers into violence.
This will be FBI thugs (i.e., government employees) out to destroy a POPULIST movement.
Both sides will do anything to stop a populist uprising, once millions become angry, it becomes uncontrollable.
Governments operate on one thing: force.
I don't want to go off into a Bush bashing tangent, my point was that expect the FBI to infiltrate the Tea Party and become provocateurs.
Both sides dislike populist movements, it becomes uncontrollable at some point, and government operates on one thing, force.
If the Tea Party becomes to big of a movement (it's not there yet), then it will be taken down.
That the entitlement generation is a bunch of pigs?! lol
sorry, this whole article is pathetic and those inciting such crap should be ashamed.
I disagree, but then again, I don't believe I've agreed with anything you've said on this site.
When people have the truth on their side, as well as a true desire to preserve freedom and liberty, there isn't a freakin fbi/government employee that can stop it – and make no mistake, the movement is far larger than reporter, even by this sites numbers.
Another whack job to keep an eye on is Robert McCheseny, FCC ..He's actually VERY smart but he doesn't have good things in mind for this country. He's been a professor for a LONG time and he's teaching YOUR kids, just like Bill Ayers and a ton of other nut balls out there. It's what they've only DREAMED of up until now.
distinguished Prof my ass – I've got excrement smarter that that POS!!
The most insidious, and most troubling thing these people did was infiltrate our schools. Go to an Internet search site and look up a few communist (or democratic socialist) party websites. A large portion of the people writing articles are university professors. University of Chicago (Ayers) and Columbia (Cloward and Piven) have long been disgustingly communist/socialist training grounds. But it has spread into an undisputed majority of our country's universities. When you have a professor teaching political science who also writes articles for Communist Party consumption, what kind of slant do you think the course will take on?
While you're doing your search, look at how many links there are from communist/d socialist websites to the websites belonging to SEIU, AFL/CIO, community organizers, etc. The Party operatives work in the open, while the professors, unions, and community organizers do a lot of the dirty work under the cover of being "non-partisan" groups looking out for ordinary people.
Don't be lazy… do the search, and do a little homework. You won't have any doubts left. There is no conspiracy theory, because it isn't theory. They don't even attempt to hide the links, or the commonality of cause. They don't disguise the common rhetoric or goals. They count on you being complacent, and unwilling to believe that they have an organized plan to wrest control of our government. It's not a matter of who I say they are. Look for yourself. Who do they say they are?

Remember, not all Catholic priests are Chesters, and not all Muslims are Jihadists!
We shall see how big and powerful the Tea Party becomes, and if some more clearly defined leaders emerge or it remains as a group with many heads.
We shall also see how the Republicans try to integrate it or shy away from it (however McCain with his shat eatin grin behind Palin speaking seems they will integrate).
If it becomes to big and powerful, it will become a threat to the R and D and the government will continue to try to get rid
The rearranging of the deck chairs on the titantic in November may be enough to silence tea party for a while.
We don’t care that you may believe in Marxist ideologies so long as you understand that imposing them on us without our consent is illegal for one, and by force of deception with intent to overthrow our laws is TREASON.
In time we will have the truth. It's BEST to contain our anger at being lied to and channel it toward RESTORING THE LAW as intended. God Bless the US Constitution. OBAMA is no match for it. nov2… revolution at the voting booth
False equivalence is a common Leftist tactic. "A half-truth is a whole lie." As an example, this is how a Leftist will tell you an Alligator is an Elephant:
* An Alligator has four legs, an Elephant has four legs.
* An Alligator has two eyes, an Elephant has two eyes.
* An Alligator has a tail, an Elephant has a tail.
* (Therefore) An Alligator is the same as an Elephant….. The Tea Party is the Weather Underground.
With a few superficial comparisons, they (falsely) declare "moral equivalence," while common sense says otherwise. See Leibniz's law – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Identity_of_indiscer... (naturally Liberals see insanity as "equal" to reason, and anyone who disagrees is a bigot).
The problem now is they(ayers &co.) are connected with obamao who happens to be in the White House.
Ayers & co. know they failed in the 60's by protesting !!!
This is why they are pushing the race card on the Tea Party movement !!!
If they can convince people it is about race, they figure they can stop the movement !!!
They are trying to make our movement unpopular among the people !!!
It is not working!!! In our local group we've been adding new members since the HC bill passed !!!
We've also added new members in our statewide group!!!!
Keep it civil, non-violent and within the law people!!! Find your candidates and support them!!!
We've found ours Col. Bob McConnell Rep. Ken Buck Senate. Dan Maes Gov.

As I read this , I'm listening to BBC Radio 4 and there is a black American woman who lives in UK, Bonnie Greer. She was at college in Chicago in 1970 and remembers the "Days of Rage" with great affection, calling herself part of the "idealistic generation". Calls herself a writer, is married to an English lawyer.
She's on all the lists that have George Galloway and the rest of the UK islamonazis on them.
Here is a little taste of their own medicine.

Perhaps you haven't heard enough about the movement, let me help you out. If you believe that 'rearranging the deck chairs…will be enough to silence the Tea Party', you are seriously not paying attention. That JK, is step 1.
As for your comment about 'a group with many heads', it's called WE THE PEOPLE, and I guess in reality, that would make a whole lot of 'heads'. I'm just not getting where you are coming from, but then again, there are more than enough intelligent people here, maybe then can make sense of your words.
TR
Precisely. I would also like to see TP people take pictures of anyone in their midst that is suspect in behavior and self report on the web. Out the corpus illegitimi so they stay home at the next go-round. We are smarter than these people, we just have to show them we want it more. That is how we will secure victory…
Keep holding steady with the avatar, too many people are changing. LOL is down right scary right now…
They don't like anything they can't control — like people insisting that the constitution is not negotiable.
Nobody takes the NYT times seriously. In fact, nobody takes the NYT — period.
I guess the NYT is finally admitting they knew who Bill Ayers was and his connection to Obama? Why they wait?
Why didn't they say something when he was running?
And weren't the NYT the geniuses who interviewed Bill Ayers and the story ran exactly on the morning of 9-11, when he said he didn't let off enough bombs? You just can't make this stuff up!!!
.
Ummm..a bunch of people are in groups wanting to be heard? That's the end of it.
Stiff attention…or snickering.
All one has to do is look at the photos to see the difference. I have the wisdom and discernment to tell the difference between punk agitators in helmets (?) all the same-ish age looking menacing and a bunch of –oh, I don't know, dentists looking like yelling dentists in their middle-class regalia. Duh.
They are trying to make our movement unpopular among the people !!!
They are frightened because they know we ARE the people. I am sure they have some mathematical calculation figuring how many people they need to have turn against the movement in order to shut it down. This is really entertaining to watch.
____
Keep the cameras rollin'
I was a kid then. I watched it on the news because I lived in rural America. Those "Days of Rage" were frightening for a child like me. I was sure these guys and Malcolm X, Chavez, all of the agitators were going to go through every town until everyone did what they said. I didn't need my parents to tell me what they were about. Horrible. Comparing that to a bunch of litter-picker-uppers is ludicrous.
Tea Party companions: We have much in common, and we mingle among you at the rallies. http://www.stormfront.org
Thanks for sharing the link. That book is on my list, but what a great summary of the Communist goals for the U.S. going back to the '60's. Pretty frightening how many they have already accomplished or are in the process of implementing. No wonder the sorry-ass progressives are in such a hurry to ram through their agenda. Guess they need to get it done before millions of more citizens / patriots wake up! I think that's why they hate the Tea Party movement….. they know they are running out of time!
Well, actually yes.
Pithy, but not particularly enlightening…care to elaborate…?
and not all Chesters are Catholic Priests,.but,………
ALL Jihadists are most certainly Muslims.
Okay. Whatever. How long did it take you to come up with THAT one?
Simpleton.
I think their are some valid comparisons, both groups are driven by idealogy. There is no doubt if the tea party is pushed hard enough, they will revolt just as they did over 200 years ago.
But they never resort to cowardly terrorism like Ayers did, so that is a big difference. It will simply be a call to actually bear your arms and they will start shooting till the enemy has lost their power, or fled.
What are the Weather Underground people doing 'right now'??Working for the government via some sham "non-profit" political activist organisation??To use their language from the 60's–"Trust no one over 60!"
I think Bill C thought of them as a pair of double D's…
More like dull and uninteresting…
Taxed Enough Already "TEA" Citizens aren't LAW Breakers by nature, otherwise they wouldn't be protesting taxes, they'd be cheating on them!!!!! Just like the Anti "Taxed Enough Already" (Anti-"TEA") (The opposite) partiers DO!!! Of course they feel threatened, their "Get rich quick scheme" is being exposed!!! For them to get rich, someone must get poor…. All you supporters "Dig more ditches" "Move more rocks" "Plow more fields", they require the wealth your labors produce, for they, ALONE, are the GOVERNORS (Or their close associates (Friends))!!!!
There is nothing conservative about the racist anti-American teaparty. Conservative is a badge of honor, and the teapeople are unworthy.
Liberal projection! ‘60s radical technique drawing equivalent lines, “everything’s relative man.” Keep it up America we’re sticking it to the man!
You've done more than caught a little Rush… you have internalized the entire right wing conspiracy. Well done.
I can't…. it's just too easy.
Shhh… Let them have their little delusions. We are SO close to victory! Don't piss them off. They are the goose that lays the golden egg. We almost have total control over the rich. Remember when we used to rail against the Establishment? Now we ARE the Establishment! Right wingers are too stupid to have any conspiracies. They are too unorganized! Witness the teabaggers! Half or more should be Republicans, but the repubs are too stupid and disorganized to do anything. I work for the government, but I can't tell you where. We are almost ready to go public with the Master Plan! The people will love it! Well, once we adequately explain it. It will be kinda like health-care, we will have to pass it so people can find out what's in it. We are SO CLOSE to the fundamental transformation President Obama promised us! I can FEEL it! Can you? Patience my friend, THEY will be made to SHUT-UP soon! Yeah, you you dumb right wing scum!
Well, we are. We're extremists for life, liberty, property, the pursuit of happiness, limited government, low taxes, and honest capitalism (as opposed to the bailouts and handouts of crony capitalism and socialism, respectively).
Beware the tyranny of the libertarians, for they will take over the government and LEAVE YOU ALONE!" – Jonah Goldberg
Spliff,
You're killing me! Love the most recent avatar even more!
Uh, Lorrie is married (if you were trying to score points) ;^)>
Bill Ayers has been dis-invited on speaking engagements so many times of late! He was dis-invited to speak three times in the last year right here in the state of Illinois. I would say Bill Ayers is about as popular as the New York Times!
Your little friend O-Man! is right. Right wingers are too stupid to hatch a conspiracy. Well, actually, I think they may just be too busy working to support you and your friend to have time…
You are a troll. Try posting something worthwhile once in awhile. My guess is that you are very old and bored – besides being ignorant, that is. Thought you were honest but misguided when I first got here, but you are a bitter, old, delusional fool. Flame me all you want, I don't care…
GaltFan, Thanks. I haven't seen LOL's avatar lately. I'll have to check it out, but I won't let on you told me to…..shhhhh. I sort of like that comfortable familiarity of scrolling up and down looking for bona-fide Conservatives. Of course, I could simply screen comments by "ratings," or "following," but I would totally miss the new good 'uns.
The only Tea Party events I have been to, they told us beforehand to take photos of "imposters," and to pay special attention to imposters trying to engage the media. They carefully warned everyone to be on their best behavior, too. I think that has happened a lot, and it is what makes the lefties' desperate attempts to discredit The Tea Party so lame.
Of course, any sort of publicized gathering will attract its share of nuts and bolts, but I do believe our forefathers would have applied the ol' tar and feather treatment if they had discovered traitors in their midst. Actually, those traitors would have been the "lucky ones."
You are right that, as a whole, Conservatives are more intelligent and possess more common sense that most prog/libs.
I hadn't realized until a couple of days ago, that Andrew Breitbart had upped his offer to $100,000. for PROOF that the Black-Congressional-Parade were racially mistreated. As far as I know – still no takers.

Going to a Tax-day party next week. Still trying to talk myself into being reasonable/less provocative than I could be…
No, the operate on fear. You still never addressed the Bush mention re: "…any anti government rhetoric is suspect of being criminal."
Pro-gun and Pro-Free markets is good, LIMITED Washington is necessary, anti-war is too vague. Sometimes war is necessary…
Look, Obama is a puppet, no more/no less. THEY (the dark side) control the law from top to bottom. LAWYERS are 1/2 the problem. they have turned the law into their own playground. There is no justice anymore, look what the prisons are overflowing with. Look how "the law" always threatens they will have to turn loose inmates unless we pay more taxes.
The entire game is rigged & controlled by these people. Being a "lawyer" should disqualify a person from political office………but hell no, I'll bet 3/4 of the congress & senate are lawyers. Talk about the fox watching the henhouse!

Another citation that defines NATURAL BORN CITIZEN?
This is from POLITICAL SCIENCE AND COMPARATIVE CONSTITUTIONAL LAW
VOLUME II
GOVERNMENT
BY
JOHN W. BURGESS, PH.D., LL.D.
published in 1891…..IV. The Qualifications for the Presidency.
The constitution requires citizenship by birth within the country, i.e. birth within the country, of parents who are not extra-territorial persons.1 Whether a natural born citizen who should become, by naturalization, a citizen of a foreign state, and who should subsequently regain citizenship of the United States, would then be eligible to the Presidency, is at least a question. A technical argument might be constructed to support the proposition that he would; but I think the broader principles of public law and political science would incline to the negative. The President is the representative of the interests of the country against foreign countries. His entire interests should be with his own country. Citizenship in a foreign state would be very likely to create ties which might divide his interests and his sympathies.
Can I emphasize…but I think the broader principles of public law and political science would incline to the negative.

Ha ha, very witty, I like it!
Well, if you look at supreme court decisions, they are often split decisions, so interpretation of the constitution is not black and white at times. But yes, it has been stretched and contorted and stretched again.
Anyhow, I was more interested in control of uprising populist movements such as the tea party. It will be interesting to see in time if it becomes out of control, and government will try to squash it.
