Republic on the Precipice
by Matt PattersonI sometimes wonder if Americans really have any idea of the scope of the danger facing this country. I also wonder if they don’t deserve the disaster that is coming.

Americans loudly focus their anger on the President, who is seeking to profoundly alter the structure and nature of the United States. But they cannot let themselves off the hook; they elected this man, after all, and by a wide margin.
Remember, Barack Obama had long kept company with loathsome men overflowing with hatred for the United States. His associates included an anti-American, unrepentant terrorist (Bill Ayers) and a deranged, anti-American preacher (Reverend Wright). And Obama’s own stated economic philosophy is confiscatory redistributionist – “spread the wealth around,” as he so forthrightly put it.
All of this was known in 2008. And Americans elected him anyway. And now they whine and complain that this man attempting to socialize the republic? What a thoroughly unserious people – if you stick your head in the gaping maw of a ravenous lion, you would be a fool to complain when it closes its jaws. It is the nature of lions to devour flesh; it is the nature of socialists to devour liberty.
And there is another culprit who must not escape blame.
The Republican Party, which botched a war – a just war – so badly that it made a leftist “community organizer” seem like presidential material. The Party which acquiesced to massive government expansions at the expense of liberty throughout the 20th Century; the New Deal, the Great Society, untold bloated federal programs which shamefully betray Republican fingerprints, programs which have habituated Americans to a certain amount of socialism in their society, including socialism in our health care.
And now the GOP makes a stand? Now it draws a line?
Please. It is far too little, far too late. Once people have accepted a little socialism, it is not a very far bridge to convince them to have a little more, and a little more still, until freedom is but a faint memory. The trajectory of the last century in America has been this: Virtually no government control in health care, to government control of health care for the elderly and poor, to now coming within a hair’s breadth of health care becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of Uncle Sam.
We know where that trajectory leads. Almost all the Western democracies have succumbed to the socialist temptation, to one degree or another. If and when that happens in America, the Republican Party will become a vestigial appendage – a slightly less liberal alternative of the very liberal majority party. Republicans will not repeal a massive government program instituted by liberals, because they never have. Because when people start receiving gushers of money from the public treasury, they almost never vote to plug the spigot
Remember, even Scott Brown, Republican savior and new dragon slayer, elected on his promise to stop Obamacare, previously helped to institute government health care in his home state, and as such is a living symbol of GOP culpability, confusion, and hypocrisy.
Brown and his allies may yet stop Obamacare. But even if they win this battle, the war has barely begun. Indeed, it is already half lost, because they have already surrendered too much.

YouTube parody of Obama's "on the precipice of health care reform" line: http://www.youtube.com/user/Optoons#p/u/25/xmey2U...
This sounds a bit similar to something I put up recently; although I take a direct stab at Americans… I am truly puzzled by this complacent mentality Amerika has since the '08 election. More of a zombie mentality check it out:
America, What's your problem? http://savingtherepublic.com/Amerika.html
Fellow Patriots I ask what are you prepared to do http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F452KybPEnQ ? This is the question you must seriously ask yourself and your family! Don't play their game… STOP and play your game through http://www.savingtherepublic.com
"And now the GOP makes a stand? Now it draws a line?"
Perhaps you'd feel better if the GOP just voted WITH the Democrats to destroy what's left of our country and our Constitution?
Yeah, there's plenty of blame to go around. Stabbing your biggest ally in the back is not the way to win a war. All you Republican-bashing douche bags need to get over yourself and decide…once and for all…whether you can rise above your own petty preconceptions to work for the good of the country, or whether you are going to actively work to tear down what little is left of our way of life. Either way…shut your F'ing pie holes and get to work doing something and stop pointing fingers.
I will never stop screaming this at the top of my lungs: INVOLUNTARY WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION IS IMMORAL! In fact, if you visit my grave after I've shed this mortal coil, you may hear muffled thuds and muted shouts as I kick the inside of my casket and still yell it at the top of my… well, I guess I won't have lungs then.
In any event, Obama's Ship of State is sinking, and the rats are going overboard like the mythical lemmings.
Honestly you loyalists have been pissed at other conservatives for holding the GOP's feet to the fire but if we hadn't we would allready have socialized Healthcare, cap and trade. etc. Pointing fingers is the only thing that have kept them fighting for us. And we need to keep pointing those fingers or else the next thing we'll be pointing at them wont be fingers.
Let's see. Where would our senior citizens be without Social Security and Medicare? The absolute gall of this author to imply that our society is "socialist" because it will not abandon our senior citizens to a fate they all fear. Talk about throwing "Granny under the bus".
Well that sets to rest one conspiracy theory – Obama's image is visable in the mirror.
The point is that the Democrats and Republicans both got us to this point, as much as you want to deflect the argument.
Unlike the writer, I understand that we have to hold our nose and work with the Republicans as they are the only real opposition, as much as I don't like it. George Washington wanted nothing to do with parties, and as an independent conservative, I concur.
No Mat they don't, because you will always ahve the next one on line promising you the world and once in office he will do whatever it takes to get it done.
This man is not stupid, he has been trained by tthe best, studied Constitutional law, paid by the best to go to colleges … he was bought a long time ago…
This has been in the making for along time… Carter helped out but it took longer than expected.
He is killing the Constitution but as you see no one is doing anything about it.. he has two things on his side –
First Black president and first black president – no one will say anything as you can see or they will be branded a racists!!!
…Republican Party has learned that Democratic Majority Whip James Clyburn is reporting that four Democratic Congressmen that were no votes on the health care bill have now switched to a yes vote.
We need to flood their offices with phone calls, faxes and if local, go by their offices.

Which is exactly why there's a huge TPM underfoot, bubbling away, challenging the RINOs in the primaries and ready to move into action in November and after.
Picked the info in previous comments up from a left-wing website. I don't know if the source is accurate, but it can't hurt to call their offices and tell them what you think.
Not to rehash, but here is part of one of my posts from last week:
"I hold the Republican Party to be the most responsible for this current debacle. Sure, they have fought against it now that it has been thrust upon us, but why did it ever even get this far?
Republicans are supposed to be the party of "smaller" government and "lower" taxes.
"Smaller" than what? By whose definition or standard? Obviously that of the Democrats. Never mind the Constitution.
"Lower" taxes? Please explain, I'm listening…
I blame the Republicans because their governing "philosophy" seems to be "Compromise" or "be reasonable so people like us". Except the real answer is: They don't have one. Or rather, "we will reward our supporters when we are in control". Not terribly inspiring, as the last two elections have shown.
How about consistently embracing the mantle of LIMITED government as outlined by our founding documents? How about only "necessary" taxes, so as to properly fund it.
Return that "federal money" back to the people and they can more wisely use it at the state and local level. Where the tax-and-spend can be more closely monitored by the people, where those who hold the purse strings are far more accountable, where a bad policy doesn't affect the entire nation, where it belongs in the FIRST PLACE.
You are not in Washington to tell us how to live our lives. You are not there so you can dispense favors to your cronies. You are not "in the arena" "playing a game" and should not be "working the system". Shame on you!
You ARE there to protect the freedom and liberty of your constituents from ALL threats both foreign and DOMESTIC! Including factions and pressure groups who seek to usurp our liberty and property to serve their own ends.
"Health care" "reform" is the last pound of flesh to tip the scales in favor of permanent Statism. Once we are demoralized, "comprehensive" immigration "reform" is next. Amnesty will guarantee a permanent majority and the death of a noble experiment. It IS coming…
LEAD! Thinking people are ready to follow and help!. We are running out of time… "
Thank you for indulging me…
Looking4sanity, I wholeheartedly agree with you!!!
obamao may have been elected by many , but not all of us voted for this POS!!!
But remember all those "promises" he made, that is why he was elected, all those people wanting their handout!!
The one that still comes to my mind is the lady that couldn't pay her mortgage, " Oh we'll pay your bill…." after the election that same lady had her home foreclosed anyway!!!
The lies and deception were overflowing, same as they are now!!!!

Obama's photo looks shopped. I can tell because he's casting a reflection in the mirror. Soulless progressive drones can't cast reflections or shadows.
LOL Randy12
This is NOT the change America voted for period…. the majority are aganist him and he knows it but doesn't care. Their in nothing that we can do to stop this insanity!!! He is pulling out all the bells and will do waht it takes to shove this down our childrens throats…
Just like the town I live in – keep em dumbed down and they will elect you every time…. the education system in America is broke and everyone wants somethign for nothing …….
Yes it is that simple…..
The biggest problem is that there is to much incentive to get into politics. If there were no such thing as a career politician we would have actual leaders in charge of protecting our rights. But instead we have a bunch of washed up lawyers running our country. Look around you we're allready a socialist nation. And just like Margaret Thatcher said "The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other peoples money." And low and behold our country is broke. (cont…)
The problem has really been that most of us have been busting our butts to make a living that we didn't notice the progressives socializing this country for the last 100 years. Most of us including myself are guilty of just being happy that a republican gets voted in evey once in a while. But no matter your political party there is still incentive to be corrupt. We have to have term limits and no lifetime benefits for our elected positions. Then you will get buisness and military savvy people to lead us. Make no mistake though, Barrack Obama getting elected might have just saved this country. We've been being slowly cooked by both parties and when BHO got elected he turned the fire up as hot as it would go and we finally jumped out of the pan. Maybe its to late to solve this without reseting the system but either way we all know now that we have to do something.
There is an articled named 'if we can take it' at http://www.theseselfevidenttruths.com that posits that the republic is already lost. I tend to agree with the conclusions drawn. It is true that the republicans share some of the blame. I am of the opinion though that George Bush destroyed the republican party, and Obama is resurrecting it.
How ridiculous is it that you can't even copy/paste from the article you are commenting on without it being disallowed.
oops – "visible"
You are right on Looking4Sanity. There is plenty of blame to go around for all of us, but we have no other recourse than to work within the GOP. I have been involved for the first time in my life on a deeper level and have committed to work on campaigns. I have no idea where it will lead but I am committed for the rest of my life to bring about the refounding of this nation. I tire of the finger pointing blame game….we must get off our butts and work like we have never worked before. I will say one thing about most GOPer's…we are hard working family people…we get it…we slumbered…but we are eyes wide open and we are going to take back this country!
It's a Photo Shop
Well, I guess we'll just have to "hold our noses" and work with you Independents as well. Even though you have enabled the Dems for the last 30 years by splitting the critical votes. You see, you are not the only one who finds the situation intolerable.
All – prior to Barak Obama there were 2 issues preventing us from stoppping teh dems
Issue 1, teh Russians & the cold war – the foreign threat as greater than the domestic – and to retain power teh Dems had to play like they cared about America.
Issue 2, without a black man as President – the RACISST charge could be used and made to stick – now that we have a Black President – teh racist charge has lost most of its potency
The backlash to this is building greater than you can imagine – it will be simple – once a politician is determined to be a progressive, and not in a gerry-mandered distric OUT they go. Commentators keep talking about 2010 – What the Dems should fear is teh Generational hit they will take as a result of this – we need to make dam sure every Republican has the roll back attitude of McDonnell, Christie, Palin & Paul Ryan – there's the path
AND WE NEED TO WAKE UP SOUTH CAROLINA – call the repub committee in that state and let them lnow it's their DUTY to stop lindsey
Shoot…I was thinking Randy12 had it right! Now I am questioning again!
Absolutely…a cleansing is happening. I am seeing it in my District GOP…and it sounds like it is all the way up to the top of our state level GOP. I don't doubt there are some rino's that will be purged though….and it may take a few election cycles to do it.
Splitting the vote?
I don't vote for Democrats. The only time I did, we got burned (Maria Cantwell ring a bell?).
Splitting the vote would entail me voting for the Losertarian Party or some such. I'm not an idiot. I just have to hold my nose every damned election because there is no alternative.
The elites don't come from only one party. Our friend hasn't realised this fact yet.
As someone who has never taken his eye off the ball or been asleep on watch, I find it intolerable to be lumped in with a bunch of brainless suburbanite sweat-hogs. I have performed my due diligence all my life…in every election…local, state and federal. For decades, I was told I was paranoid…that what I warned of could never happen in America. Everything I've said all those years is now at our doorstep…and now I've got to endure a bunch of johnny come lately's tell me how it's MY fault? Screw them all! They brought it on themselves and now I almost don't even care if they all choke to death on it. I do not put my faith in men, but in God. Let His Judgment be swift! Amen.
That is where the real "change" will take place, otherwise it's like putting a nice coat of paint on a car …over rust.
Nope, that is his Teleprompter with a fancy frame…..8>)
Good grief. Where in the hell have you been?
The disaster is here. It started in full in August of 2008. Thanks to your hero George Bush and the Republican Congress.
Trillion dollar unnecessary war, all borrowed, check.
Trillion and a 1/2 dollar tax cut to the richest, all borrowed, check.
Trillion dollar give away to Pharma, all borrowed, check.
And trillions stolen by the Banks, Wall Street, and other thieves.
All under the watch of George Bush. And you idiots complain about Obama not fixing things in his first year.
God you people are stupid.
I don't normally comment on my fellow bloggers' posts at BigGovernment but this nihilistic screed cries out for a reply.
Yes, the Republicans –including George W. Bush did a terrible job governing– and yes, they didn't do enough in the past to oppose the advance of socialism, but Matt Patterson seems to want all right-thinking Americans to give up. Americans deserve it because they voted for Obama, he seems to be saying.
The message in his slit-your-wrists-now post is that we're all screwed and socialism is inevitable because GOPers messed up. He writes, "And now the GOP makes a stand? Now it draws a line? Please. It is far too little, far too late."
It is never too late.
PART 1 OF 2
Right now the Republican Party, as botched and imperfect as it is, is all that is holding off the radical transformation of America by socialists. Even the liberal GOP senators from Maine are on board, which is no small achievement.
The Tea Party is great but it's a movement, not a political party, and it doesn't have seats in the House and Senate. The healthcare legislation must be stopped now in Congress. Repeal is impossible or high unlikely at best.
Stop stabbing the good guys in the back, Matt Patterson. Fight for America and leave the angst-ridden reflections for the kooks at LewRockwell.com. You can do better.
Group-think in politics is a death sentence. Everyone has their own ideas, and has a right to exercise them, but pushing one agenda with no thought of anyone's opinion to the contrary SHOULD buy you a one-way ticket back home. The Republican will realize this, and hopefully grow a spine and start fighting for the people who elected them, but all I see are political games being played, and I don't appreciate it.
Well played, sir. Well played.
Not cool, dude. All I want to see is Pelosi do a perp walk into her gen pop cell, that's all.
I thought vampires couldn't see their reflections in mirrors?
Judge Roy Bean here.
Yeah, that's what we need …..more quitters.
Let's elect some folks with brass- ba–s fortitude, and keep fightting for liberty.
I keep reading that posts are being disallowed. Is this a recent thing? Someone suggested using the word "socialist" is causing such, but I can't believe that is true. If there is a change in rules, can the BigModerator please explain?
Welcome to the party. No one ever promised that life would be fair or that there would always be a \”good\” choice. Sometimes you must choose the lesser of two evils. Not making a choice is also a choice.
If you \”don't vote for Democrats\” and you don't vote for 3rd party candidates, yet won't join the GOP, I submit to you that you have been failing in your civic duty to work with the party you vote for to promote good candidates. This is what I'm talking about: instead of standing on the outside looking in and pointing fingers, why don't you get your hands dirty and work from the inside to improve our choices?
I don't know about you personally, but a lot of A-holes out there think they're just too good for that. Those are the ones I have no tolerance for. They talk a lot of smack but they never do squat. And if they ever did, you can rest assured they would screw things up monumentally because their heads weren't screwed on straight to begin with.
take back whats ours by any means necessary if this becomes law. the only good that can come from obama is the knowledge of never electing the likes again. maybe if the kids here in chicago stopped shooting each other we could pass along those savings to those who truly need it. doubtful. i am afraid our only hopes for the future resides in that magic cigarette; keep smoking Mr.President soon enough.
Yes, they botched it. Sure, the Surrendercrats were no help, but Rumsfeld and Bremer made a holy hash of Iraq, and Bush shifted to Petraeus and more important the McFarland/Nagl/Petraeus strategy only just before it spiraled out of control. Afghanistan may already be FUBAR.

Retard.
Lorben, there's a lot of people out here that woke up – L4S decries us as jonnie-come-lately, but better late than never. And there's a lot of us who did our duty and voted, but were not politically active at all in the past. Now we are – in fact, a bunch of us are caravanning over to Searchlight NV in 2 weeks. Not something we would have done 2 years ago!

Wow! I just posted a comment asking if new posts were being withheld. Mine was, presumably because I asked if using the work that rhymes is "ocialist" is the cause. I guess it is. I had asked the BigModerator to explain, and do so again. It's not a bad word. It's relevant to issues, and I'm certainly not advocating anything wrong or illegal. I've been addicted to the Big sites and have enjoyed reading other's comments, and have even posted myself. If we can't have free speech on this site, especially relevant speech that uses no derogatory words, I would have to wonder how much longer Breitbarts sites will continue to grow. I've very disappointed for the first time with BigGovernment.com. Please editor, explaint what is going on.
You can call it game playing if you want, but I assure you it is no game. Your future and the future of this country rests on the outcome of this "game" as you call it. There are two sides playing. Pick one and get behind them, or sit it out and don't complain about the outcome later.
Praise Jesus! There is a God.
Judge Orders Federal Agencies to Resume ACORN Funding!
Now convict O'Keefe and said his ass to jail for a perfect ending.
OK, this time w/o commentary. Why is this web site now deleting relevant posts that contain no bad words, are relevant to the article and subsequent posts, and do not advocate violence, etc.? I love th Big sites, but if this is the future, they will lose all relevance.
…."Let His Judgment be swift! Amen."
That my friend is probably what it is…we cannot be killing infants in this country and not be held accountable for their murders. We are almost at the 40th year of aborting infants, 50 years since prayer in school has been abolished…we may be due to account for our behavior as a nation. It is my humble opinion that the American Church has held back His wrath so far…
"For decades, I was told I was paranoid…"
Some of us have a more profound sense of reality than others…you my friend have this gift.
Iraq was not a just war.
I refuse to join the Republican party, because while they have similar viewpoints to me, they are part and parcel of the problem. Parties are not what the Founders intended. What has been created around the 2 party system over the past 150 years has become corrupt to the core. To say that, that doesn't mean that there aren't good people in the party. Senator DeMint would be an example of this. That said, the Republican Party became just as corrupt as the Democrats when they held sway. Power corrupts, period, no matter the colour or stripe.
What specifically do you disagree with in that list?
Barack is the first black president AND the last black president.
As long as your party leadership doesn't realise they really made so HUGE mistakes, stapling your eyes open won't make scintilla of difference. Throw out the Progressives in your party…starting with McCain.
More.
Step one is done: the House Budget Committee voted 21 to 16 this afternoon to send the final health care reform package to the House Rules Committee.
Praise Jesus! What a wonderful and glorious day.
It just keeps getting better. Wow!
Obama gets another Supreme Court appointment.
Interview with Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens. Of particular interest: Stevens will retire before the end of Obama's first term.
It is a simple as this: Vote out people regardless of party who are against the Constitution, or will play favours with regulation. Those people who play footsie with Obama need to be removed from office post haste. People like McCain and Graham have no place in the party, as they are Progressives. Remove the cancer from your party.
As a country we slumbered and I think it is a waste of time to point fingers
"I do not put my faith in men, but in God. Let His Judgment be swift! Amen."
On this we can heartily agree, brother.
Yes indeed! I met Chris Widner and Clint Didier yesterday at our Lincoln Day Dinner in our county. I was really impressed with Didier. He said there are 17 GOP candidates running for Senate. He seems like a true TPM, grassroots and a big man! Holy crap! It was the first time I ever saw a Superbowl ring too….big ring, holy crap! I imagine most of the westsiders would not think it worth their time to come to the smallest county in Washington and break bread with us….But I imagine as things start shaking down to the primaries I will meet more of them…

You're the kind of douchebag that went along Hitler. Spineless flag-waving dolt.
Forget saving anything—we need to start over and not try to protect positions of preference
http://www.whitecapevolution.info/
Better hope we don't Bork his next appointment. Oh wait that would mean that we would besmirch, lie, and demean a good man who has given his career to the judiciary. Our side does'nt do that.
That's ANON's disgusting side of the aisle.
We are working on that Goo…I live in Washington State on the east side. The TPM is very strong in this state we are involved and desire to make sure the platform reflects true conservative values. We will be having our County Caucus on April 17th and with what I have seen and heard so far, it is about the Constitution, Constitution, Constitution. Fresh blood will help too and there are many rising up that would have never even considered running for office before.
It will take a few election cycles to purge the rino's…A third party will destroy our country, so we are currently reminding the GOP it must return to its roots.
Term limits will stop the corruption and there is a lot of talk in the GOP about this.
"Better hope we don't Bork his next appointment."
Bork away. But remember the GOP line. Every nominee deserves an up or down vote. Or is that only for Republican nominees?
God this is fun.
You in Washington Goo?
Kicking off the TPE in front of Harry Reid's home on March 27. Andrew Breitbart, Joe the Plumber and Sarah are all set to speak.

Yes, the rebublicans will become a left leaning party behind the socialists ,bacause, if you are unwilling to fight them, you join them….that's where the money will be….Crooked is as crooked does…Maybe the people running for republican offices across the land should pledge to not take their salary and never speak to a lobyist.
We are working on it…It will take time to ferret the bastards out. They make us want to wretch also just like you…
If this is such a great thing, why won't they let us see it?
Mr. Pearson,
I think when push does finally come to shove, and the Patriots are forced to water the tree of Liberty with their blood and the blood of the Left, that freedom will prevail. Be they Democrats or Republicans, the statists are in it for their power only. That is a crass thing to die for. I doubt many will stand up to our numbers once they see we mean business. Besides they are afraid and we are not. The sheeple who fell for little Barry's siren song of "free" things in exchange for a little loss of freedom won't rise to support their slave masters either.
Sic Semper Tyrannis—Thus Always to Tyrants.
Just heard Virginia voted in a "We don't need no stinkin' healthcare" bill with 34 more states proposing legislation. This could be more fun than listening to anon bleed all over this blog.
You're stupid. "Praise Jesus" for funding corruption? Crawl back into your sewer with your Acorn friends and maybe someone will pi** in that sewer, but ohhhhh wait, you folks like the stench.
Some tough love? True though. It's urgent to stop BHO and Congress & pronto. But the public ought to consider how we got so far off track that a majority of Americans would ever vote for such a dangerous bonehead. If we're in dire straits, we're getting what we voted for.
I still believe most Americans know better. But too many complacently tolerated insidious developments, not comprehending the combined consequences. An education system that evolved into indoctrination centers for huge number of naive young voters. MSM, which evolved from biased coverage, to selective coverage, to outright propagandists. Tainted voting systems. Importing of voters via illegals. Too many flocking to telegenic politians with sugar-coated promises, rather that straight-talkers who face up to difficult, real problems that have no painless solution, before they grow into crises. Too much sense that the US is invulnerable to any great hardship or political evil.
It's probably not coincidental that the generation in which all this occurred is the same generation that chased riches on tech companies with no earnings, then immediately thereafter chased riches on houses with prices inflated artifically by scores of homebuyers who couldn't afford them. Then bet on the hip smooth-talker teleprompter-reader with the Blackberry to make everything better. Who is the generation in power, chasing bubbles, and always looking for the easy way out? Those darn baby-boomers. Ever since the 60s, like a bull in a china shop as they move through life.
If a picture is worth a thousand words this one does for sure.
Let us start with arrogant, vain, liar, communist, son of the devil, bully, does not play well with others, corrupt, phony, snake in the grass, Hugo Chavez want 2 be , bully, etc.. .I'm open for more suggestions. Thank you for your contributions ahead of time.
If therapy really works we should have some kind benefit from this exercise.
This the very reason that this type of article is just a piece of sh!t. It does nothing but create rifts in a movement that could reboot this country…Goo says clearly he votes Republican…how does that make him a "douchebag that went along (with) Hitler?"
" This could be more fun than listening to anon bleed all over this blog"
He doesn;t have any blood because if he did, then he would be human.
We will never again be a nation of adults until most of us recognize and even embrace the fact that NOTHING is free. Once you accept the world for that way it really is, you can begin loving it and revel in its beauty.
Wow! I am only a few states away…if I could find someone to come along with me that sounds like a blast!
Good for you. I won't bore you with what I have been doing as well. Point is – to all start doing something and cut out the infighting and get past the past. there isn't time for it……..
You sound like a leftist. Accuse the accuser, and then proceed with classic projection.
So in effect you are stating we should be in lock step with the same people that participated in the largest theft of personal wealth the world has ever seen; around 10 trillion dollars so far. And the others that ignore the roles Frank, Dodd, Fanny, Freddy, and the Fed played in creating the environment that breeds this socialism virus. And that is but one example. Please….. Those people should be in jail at the very least!!!
Criminals do what criminals do. The gate keepers are the enemy.
BTW…In the back??? I would prefer to look in their eyes!

You are correct that we have willingly arrived at this juncture, either by purpose or by complacency. The philosophy of government will be a reflection of its people. Whether we choose to admit it or not, it's true. Likewise, true change will only come from the bottom-up. We aren't going to change anything by top-down means, or by the next presidential candidate. Change must begin with US. Within the individual. Then within our families.
I believe the answer lies within education. As Abraham Lincoln once said, "Today's philosophy of education will become tomorrow's philosophy of government." Anyone who takes an honest look at education knows exactly where it is going…. UNLESS…. unless we intervene. What are you doing to educate your children for tomorrow? Are you homeschooling? Are you making the sacrifice to send them to a good, private school? Or are you sitting on the sidelines complaining about your public school but waiting for "someone" to fix it? Or are you delusional thinking that your child's school / teacher is fine — it's all the rest that are bad.
Wake up people!!! Liberty always requires sacrifice. Are you willing to make that hard choice?
Oh yeah , we get how much danger the republic is in and no we don't deserve it. If the MSM had been marginally honest about this man he would not have won. Control of the media is powerful, Ask any dictator in the world.
The MSM was doing wild goose chases in Alaska turning over every rock in Wasilla, and trying every thing they could to avoid looking at Barry and Chicago politics. They had two years and never even bothered to mention he was THE most liberal senator who sponsored legislation to tax the USA to give $300 billion per year to the UN.
MSM has now been outed, and 89% no longer trust them at all, but is it too late?
.
Anon seems to believe everything will be comin' up roses when we're living in 'Obamaworld'. I hope your 'world' works out for you, I do, but I think history is on my side when it comes to where this will lead us. You may be laughing now but I can almost be certain you won't later on. Enjoy.
That vote was to see of Pelosi needs a psych exam.
