Democrats Gone Wild: Rep. Ciro Rodriguez Loses It
by Mike FlynnI’ve often noted that I expect this to be a long, hot summer. The mid-term elections are inching closer and Democrats are having to finally admit that they are in real political trouble. For those keeping score at home, let’s recap; the economy sucks, there are no new jobs, the stimulus failed, the government is bleeding money, ObamaCare is unpopular, the Feds have screwed up the gulf oil spill and we are facing potentially the biggest tax hike in history at the end of the year.
If they weren’t trying to seize control of huge swaths of the economy, I might almost feel sorry for Democrat Congressman having to face voters with such a “record.” They blindly followed the Democrat leadership and listened to the chattering class in DC who assured them everything would be okay; the progressive agenda was secretly popular with the public. Instead, I’ll enjoy video snippets like this, which shows another Democrat House member losing his temper in the face of public anger with their agenda. Recently, Rep. Ciro Rodriquez (D-TX) met with some local constituents about our nation’s current state of affairs. It did not go well.
Wow.
I want to make two points; Rep. Rodriguez is an elected official with a duty to represent his constituents in Congress, no matter their political persuasion, and, he volunteered and asked for this job. He wasn’t ordered into this position by some judge, as some kind of sentence. He wants this job. It is a bit stunning that, at the first sign of criticism, he loses his temper so quickly. A confident politician would have been able to field this question.
When called out on it, Rodriquez ought to have been able to field the questions in a manner that didn’t resort to threats and a violent outburst. That he couldn’t tells you all you need to know about the political landscape today.
My friends, there is only one word to describe what you see in this video: PANIC.

They better panic, they realize that El Heffe is an idiot who sold them up the river. He sold them a bill of goods that would make Pancho Villa proud. As the sanitizing light of sunshine beams down on this entire corrupt administration maybe we can get some sane reasonable common sense leaders in who will actually listen to the will of the people and abide by the documents that were put forth by men who had more vision and courage in their little finger than the whole mess in Washington combined.
It is way beyond time that these arrogant assclowns are taught a lesson in humility and about how this government is supposed to run.

I'd like to see the stocks brought back as a form of punishment, and I think TX is a great locale for a test run.
It never occurs to these short fused Dems that they work for and are accountable to us, their bosses. If they wanted to be the boss, they should take the financial risk and start a company and hire some people. They are, of course, representing the entitlement party so it's obviously rubbed off on them.

I am not sure about his district but people in general don't react too well when their congressmen lose it publicly and that usually translates into votes. I will assume he is in a Gerrymandered district and likely to win the seat again but he will still lose power and will likely lead to his eventual demise over the long run. Lets hope this event severely weakens his odds…

Harris County tried to clean their voter registration rolls a few years back, but the dems took them to court and won. While I agree, we live in a society that does not believe in contrition, and it's close brother, piety. Contrition is considered a religious attitude, and has no relevance to those who have no shame. The communities they rose from aren't paying attention, and that is why they were elected in the first place.
Take Mike McGinn, a lobbyist for the Sierra Club, an environmentalist hack who has no business being in the position of mayor. He has no executive experience. He has no concept of what it is to run anything, and yet the people of Seattle picked him over Mallahan, who was an executive at T-Mobile, and while a liberal Democrat (not progressive), knows what it is to live within a budget. As long as people are asleep at the wheel, Seattle, and other progressive strongholds will not change.

It did give me hope as I was surrounded by many hispanics, blacks and other minorities and we all sang God Bless America and the Star Spangled Banner together. I used to move alot of cattle from that country, to the Panhandle. Horses to. i used to cross horses and quarrantine hem at the Santa Teresa Pens. It used to be be nice, even fun down there. hell, I could ride my horse across the river, have lunch at a cantina on the Mexican side, and ride back home. The last I was there was 1994- 95. It was turning into war zone. When I sold my place, the treasury Dept. had to scrutinize the buyer, and the transaction, to assure the funds were not drug related. The deal back then was, the cartels were coming across the border, using front men to buy up ranches and property, so the cartel could have access lanes to the USA.
Hell, every stupid cowboy in South Texas knew what the deal was, and who was doing it. Everybody but the Government and the Border Patrol.
I still rest on the fact, that twent-five mounted men ahorseback could shut down the cartels in a year.

I concur completely Goo. I was the same way for a long time, too busy, too tired, always too something to be involved. Working two jobs trying to make ends meet, paying for a handicapped child. But you are right, when the MSM started talking about the second coming in the embodiement of Barrack Hussein Obama, something told me that if it sounds too good to be true it probably is, and like you it didn't take much investigation to figure out he was a fraud and a dangerous one at that.
As important as the first two are I think the third one is probably the most important, because it's real hard for these idiots to be in power if we don't put them there in the first place. I know for myself, I will never take for granted again the obligation that I have as a free citizen of this country to be ever vigilant.
I wish I lived in Ciro's(D-umbass) district! Maybe I can sign up with an Acorn replacement group and vote against him anyway. I swear we could draw names from a hat and get 535 more competent people to "represent" us!
