Still No Justice For Brian Terry
by Mary ChastainOur government gave Mexican drug cartels more than 2000 guns. One year ago tonight a man used one of those guns to murder Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. Brian Terry was a son, brother, uncle, nephew. Brian Terry was also a Marine. Brian Terry was an American citizen and there is still, no justice for him or his family. No one is even giving his family answers.
We still do not know who thought of “Operation Fast and Furious” and who authorized it. We receive developments that leave us with more questions than answers. No one in our government seems to give a damn one of their own was murdered with a gun from this operation on American soil. It doesn’t help the Old Media is ignoring and burying this story. They know if they report it people will be asking questions and putting pressure on the Obama administration.
I talk to Brian’s family, mostly his mother. Josie is so sweet and so heart broken. I cannot imagine what she is going through. Not only did she lose her son, but the people responsible for this are getting away with it. Her son Brian did so much for this country, sacrificed himself for the safety of others and his death is just shrugged off. It’s no big deal.
We must remember him. We must demand answers. With permission from Josie I am going to post some pictures of Brian to remind people that this operation has taken lives.
We must not stop until we receive answers and Brian receives justice. Please keep Brian and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

This whole thing seems like a straw man to me. Border patrol is dangerous regardless of where the guns come from. Does it matter where the guns came from when these people would still have had some and would still have committed the crime anyway?
Your politicians/contributors have you people up in arms about a pointless topic, when the REAL topic of how to stop this violence, how to secure our border, how to protect our border agents is COMPLETELY ignored. Instead, all we get are cries for blood and bloodlust from frenzied commentators.
Mary, Next time you talk with Joise let her know that the American people have her family in our prayers. Brian Terry will not be forgotten nor will the American people let the folks responsible go unpunished.

Yes! It does matter where the guns came from. They came from the DoJ and paid for with taxpayer money. The Federal govt broke their own federal law with this idiotic program. The ATF set up straw-buyers through gun dealers (along the border) that wedre suspicious of the plan but the ATF promised them (dealers) that the guns would never get to the bad guys. When they did, the DoJ tried to enact laws that would require the gun dealers to report any multiple sales of long guns (which they were doing voluntarily anyway).____Plus, the "Real Topic" on how to stop the border violence and to secure the border was, in fact, what Brian Terry (and team) was trying accomplish when he died. But you are right, protecting our border agents and local LEO's is being ignored….by the DoJ/ATF.____And there are cries for blood…..the blood of Brian Terry with not even an apology from Holder to the Terry family, unless you consider an email (almost a year late) that was leaked to Politico before the Terry family even saw it. ____I am an Air Force vet and also a Police Officer with a Federal agency….and I find how they have treated the Terry family disgusting.

I'm sorry but I don't think that the people behind the atrocious program that caused the death of Agent Terry will ever be brought to justice. Federal level politicians rarely seem to face justice for their idiotic actions. They're above the law and will remain so until we change how things are done in Washington.

The president of the United States authorized Fast and Furious. The real question is why he and the rest of the adminstrations is not in jail? If anything less we would have been treated with stories of a shadow government run by former President Bush underminning the current adminstration.

Ironically while they ignore the murder of Brian Terry, tonight ABC News and Diane Sawyer report on an illegal sale of guns to criminals in New York who couldn't pass a background check. Demonizing gun dealers while ignoring our DoJ/ATF giving guns to the drug cartels in Mexico. She also ignores the 57+ elected officials calling for Holder's resignation.

Don't worry, it is catching up to him. Not just this but everything in his life. He has stepped on a lot of people on the way to his current position and he is going to meet those same people on the way back down. He will be lucky if he escapes with his life. Seriously.
It seems to me, that all too often in our country, heroes like Brian Terry, and the people that make this country work, pay taxes, and support the other half of the population that pay nothing, but have their hands out are the people that are taken for granted time and time again…It's time that this bullcrap stops…It's time that the politicians appreciate the heroes and the upstanding citizens instead of putting the lowest of the low above everyone!!!!

Thank you for keeping this story in the light of day, especially on the anniversary of Brian's demise.
Sadly (in my experiences) the politicians and officials that run these orginizations will never see the front-line troops as heroes. They see them as simple tools to promote their agenda, let alone the fact that they believe that the brave men and women that enforce their policies and laws are simple, ignorant peons. The elitist attitude is inexorably pervasive.

Its amazing how the politicians do appreciate our law enforcement personnel, military, and fellow taxpayers ONLY at election time. They are so shallow and self serving it makes one what to throw up.
It"s always bothered me to see politicians and Presidents who've never served in the military "honor" our fallen protectors/heros. It seldom comes off as sincere but rather as a political duty. I suppose the Obama/Holder response is, at it's best , a sincere show of the administration's true respect (or total lack thereof) for our military and border soldiers. So, why are our military personnel cheering at every speech this President gives in their honor? No answer needed. The administration flies it's colors daily…and it's not the Red, White and Blue of the real America.
Thanks to the author of this article. May Brian's family find solace in knowing that real Americans feel their pain and grieve for justice along with them.

I got it from Congressmen Blumenauer–(OR), and it's worse than I suspected. A few lines of how interested he is an all the letters he gets from constituents.An invitation to write again…nothing about Fast and Furious.

Two weeks ago Senator Markley sent a reply: He assured me many of us were sending him letters about Fast and Furious. Assured me of his concern. Concluded with a reminder that it's a House matter and if when the Senate took it up that's when we should be able to count on him to look into it.
Always a three step response to NOTHING…but I'll keep on them! It's not going to just go away.

There is defiantly turbulence ahead. We will win, because we always have! Will it be easy? No, it will not. Make sure yourself and everybody around you is engaged at every level of government! From the school district, and school board, city, county, state, and finally at the federal levels. Then we win hands down!
