Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley Supports ‘Dr.’ John Boyd
by Lee StranahanI’ve often said that the Pigford scandal isn’t a partisan issue. This is about fraud and corruption and while there are many Democrats involved, one of the biggest promoters of Pigford has been Republican Senator Chuck Grassley. Grassley was the Senate sponsor of the Pigford Claims Recovery Act that extended Pigford to another 70,000+ claimants.
Even more troubling than Senator Grassley’s support of the Pigford Legislation, however, has been his explicit support of “Dr.” John Boyd.
Boyd is head of the National Black Farmers Assocuation, a group that he runs out of his house in Virginia. Boyd claims to represent ‘the farmers’ but in fact, he’s personally profited from the Pigford settlement to the tune of over $1,000,000. Boyd aggressively plays the race card against his critics, including Andrew Breitbart and this site.
In 2009, attorney Rose Sanders – a major advocate of Pigford, mind you – said this about “Dr.” John Boyd…
Less than two years ago, I attended meetings by John Boyd where he and his attorneys were soliciting contracts from hundreds of eligible and ineligible claimants before the Pigford II legislation was passed in Congress. These contracts obligated citizens to pay 1/3 of their recovery to John Boyd’s attorneys plus expenses. Expenses had to be paid even if the claimant was unsuccessful. I objected to these outrageous contracts.
For more on Boyd, you can watch this clip from Pigford Blues about Boyd’s Institute and Doctorate and you can also read this post that shows how Boyd manipulates the press.
I contacted the office of Republican Senator Chuck Grassley today about his support for John Boyd. Here’s the response I got from Grassley’s press secretary, Beth Levine.
Senator Grassley’s support for Pigford II isn’t about John Boyd, it’s about the thousands of black farmers who were unable to have their cases heard before a neutral arbiter. The U.S. Department of Agriculture, the courts and the Congress have all said that these farmers deserve to have their cases heard based on the merits. Pigford II simply enables the farmers, or those who attempted to farm, to plead their case in front of a neutral party and be judged on the merits. The law was also specifically written with extra protections to help ensure that fraud is kept out of the program. Those changes have been made to the settlement agreement that will enhance the Department’s ability to fight fraud including requiring adjudicators to be a truly neutral party; allowing that neutral adjudicator to ask the claimant for additional documentation if he or she suspects any fraud; requiring the claimants’ attorneys to certify that there is evidentiary support for the claims; and requiring the Office of Inspector General and the Government Accountability Office to evaluate the Department’s internal controls and audit the process in adjudicating the claims. (emphasis mine.)
This is all standard runaround that Pigford II somehow has higher standards – and it’s not true.
A person who is willing commit perjury – as they are being trained to do in meetings across the country – can still file a claim and easily collect a $50,000 check because the system is so simple to game.
I’m willing to fly out to Washington and go over all of this with Senator Grassley and I’ll bring whistleblowers like Jimmy Dismuke and Eddie Slaughter with me. This stuff is not difficult to prove…if Senator Grassley will only listen.
But that’s not the point.
I wasn’t asking about Senator Grassley’s support for Pigford II. I was asking about his support for Boyd. And despite her claim that “Senator Grassley’s support for Pigford II isn’t about John Boyd” – look at what Grassley said about John Boyd from Grassley’s own website…
I also want to thank John Boyd, President of the National Black Farmers Association (NBFA), for his help in getting us where we are today. Without his dedication to this issue, I don’t think we’d be passing this legislation today. My hope is that the Department will work with groups like NBFA to conduct outreach to the black community and claimants. No one wants to see fraud in the administration of these claims and stakeholder groups such as John’s can be a valuable resource to getting that message out.
I pointed this out to Ms. Levine – here was her response.
John Boyd and several other people were very good advocates for the black farmers.
And there’s another aspect to Senator Grassley’s advocacy of Boyd that is even more troubling.
There’s an incident from Boyd’s past that is rarely discussed — Boyd himself never seems to mention it anymore. Boyd filed an outrageous suit for $10,000,000 against the USDA in 1999 alleging racism against people who worked there. I’m redacting their names because the charges are awful and there’s no evidence whatsoever of their guilt.
WASHINGTON (AP) – “A leader of the black farmers who recently settled with the Agriculture Department over past discrimination has filed a $10 million lawsuit in U.S. District Court accusing a top agency aide of using a racial slur.
“John Boyd, president of the National Black Farmers Association, filed the lawsuit Wednesday. It names Agriculture Secretary Dan Glickman; (and two others).
“Boyd contends that at the end of a May 27 conference call with (the USDA, a lawyer) used the (n-word) in referring to him.
“An inspector general for the agency investigated and concluded that insufficient evidence supports Boyd’s claim. Boyd likened the investigation to ‘the fox watching the henhouse.’ “
“Insufficient evidence”? This is pretty cut and dry – it’s a very specific accusation. It was either said, or not. If not, then Boyd was lying. I’ve looked into the story, spoken to some of the people involved and I personally believe that Boyd made the story up.
The idea that USDA — and Sen. Grassley — would want John Boyd anywhere NEAR their agency or its employees after this incident is shocking.
Senator Grassley owes us a better explanation about why he’s promoting “Dr.” John Boyd. His office number in Washington is 202-224-3744. His Twitter account is @ChuckGrassley. Please let us know what he has to say.

IMO, Sen. Chuck Grassley's time has come, and gone. He's been a big talker, but a slow listener. I wrote to him several times on some very serious issues, and never got a response. He's been in Washington to long, and is part of the old GOP…he needs to go!
Grassley must be getting senile,or they just keep him in a bubble and feed him BS every now and then, what we call a DC mushroom.
Grassley is a Republican?
You could have fooled me….
Lee, glad to see that you have continued to follow this story with dogged determination to expose the fraud. With all the liberal push back that you and Andrew have received it must be satisfying to know that you have touched a nerve. Liberals are like mushrooms, they shrivel up when touched by sunlight.
And now you know why Grassley took "Gunwalker" public when nobody else in the Senate would, he has to generate some support, nationwide support, for his name in order to offset the coming Pigford stuff.
Mr. Grassley, playing both ends against the middle, like bringing home the big pork, is no longer and asset, it is tremendous liability. With all due respect, it's time to tell the TRUTH, Sir. Nothing more, nothing less.
The guy is complete scum. You forgot to add, in 1993 he co-sponsored a Senate bill which contained a universal health insurance mandate. He was for this mandate until Rusty the Chickenhawk came out against it in the summer of 2009. Then he was against it.
Grassley is in major CYA mode. He's been conned. He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he can't admit that he's been played. Hasn't got it in him. He didn't want to look like one of those mean ol' racist conservatives, Sucker.
So, Lee………..got those airline tickets yet?? I hope you're not waiting for permission from the great Senator. Go pound his door down. Well, OK, that might not get ya anywhere, but it would be fun.
A politician with no principles???? Surely, you jest!
Did you really expect the Great Man to bother himself with the ramblings of a mere mortal? ;^)
Lee– I'm impressed, and I admit to having serious doubts re: your bone fides AND motives in the beginning.
Please keep digging.
WE are FOND of the TRUTH!
If Grassley is complicit, FRY HIM. If he got conned, either he owns up–WITH DETAILS, or, we FRY HIM.
Grassley was for financial regulation. He didn't vote for Dodd-Frank, but is on the target list of the banks just the same. The banks own establishment Republicans, but THEY DON'T OWN GRASSLEY.
Chuck Grassley stood up to them as ranking member of the Agriculture Committee when it came to the derivatives that helped destroy this country.
When you call that number, consider thanking him for doing a small part in trying to stop the next economic collapse. Then say whatever the hell you want about your pet Pigford.
..bunch of lambs.
All RINOs MUST be purged!!
Concur. Surprised the Administrator hasn't deleted you Av, Jackson …I like it.
You won't be happy until the next taxpayer funded bail-out, will you?
Fall in line. Hasten the day. A guy like Breitbart would never accept $$ from a bank to chase a guy like Chuck Grassley. Would he?
What is worse than Grassley? The friggin' peeps that keep voting him back in. Stupid is as stupid does.
A lot of people got taken advantage of because the fear of being called a racist worked, not anymore, they used it so much that it's lost it's power.Watch what happens when they use it on Trump,Trump will sue for slander.
It's an Iowa tradition, they enable the feeblest among themselves as the standard bearers so as to avoid being seen for what they are, dupes. Fighter Ace Harkins has appeared to have Alzheimers for decades and Grassley has not been outside the beltway since they made it eight lanes across.
For sure, Grassley is a Lindsey Graham republican along with Collins, Snowe, Brown, and McCain. There is not even one genuine republican in the sinate nor is there even one living being in that disgusting pit of pulchritude on any side worthy of feeding another day. In all of America you will not find a more hideous group of anti-America elitists than in the sepuchre of sin, the former U.S.Senate.
do you know that Harkins has an annual steak fry? WTF frys a steak? Well, it may be possible but I'd sooner see Grassley and Harkins fried than a decent piece of life providing nutrition.
Another new law we need…….
MANDATORY RETIREMENT AT 55 FOR ALL ELECTED OFFICIALS. PERIOD. NO EXCEPTION. A
ND WHILE I'M AT IT, ONLY 10 YEARS PENSION TILL THEY QUALIFY FOR THEIR FAVORITE PROGRAMS TO LOOT AND PILLAGE! SS AND MC!!!
GOOD ENOUGH FOR US.
GOOD ENOUGH FOR THEM!
Of course he would why shouldn't he they come from the same mold !
Better yet, have the Republican Party in Grassley's state bring you in for a little chat about their progressive RINO.
Nice try, too bad you prefer progressive Republicans like Grassley and Specter. Of course Grassley stood up for the agriculture community, if he didn't he wouldn't be electable However in Pigford, he didn't stand up for the agricultural community, instead falling in line to provide taxpayer bail-out of other progressives.
Nah… NO retirement, NO career, term limits and GONE. 55 is way too young, there are a lot of very talented professionals who are 55 and older. I'd sooner see term limits and scheduled legislative sessions to limit the amount of time the dregs can conjure up new ways to destroy liberty and diminish America before the world. The elected officials should be required to live in barracks during their sessions in DC. Ft Myer is very nearby, as is McNair, Belvoir and Meade and Andrews AFB. None of these people need to waste a penny on expensive real estate in the metro area, they need to live where they are elected, where they call home. Every elected member of congress should have a home state driver's license, vehicle registration and auto insurance. DC has NO elected members of Congress and no member should have anything owned or registered there. Otherwise, we are pretty much in agreement!
I take it, you don't approve of these people….
Too good for them….
What I'm about to say is NOT PC– but hey– I'm a non-conformist–ANYONE WHO FRIES A GOOD STEAK SHOULD BE SHOT.— no caveats– take care bro'
Nah, Grassley has lived in his own little fantasy world. He's an old GOPer that plows the field with blinders on.
)
LOL, I'm innocent I tell you..
)
To send a different message, I change my avatar about once a week, or sometimes every other day.
Ok….
I can live with your version…..to a point. How about nobody over 65? I'm 65 and hel I can't even remember where I put my glasses last night. Spent the whole mornin correctin typos in every post.
And forget the TAX DOCUMENT I WAS SUPPOSED TO FAX. NO IDEA WHERE IT'S FILED and who cares, I wrote the stupid fax number on some empty envelope that's probably already been shredded!
You SURE you want someone like that running the country? :-O
CG…Yo' time is up!
Well, sure! If you're from Texas you are already a stand-up guy! How old was Reagan when he put the country back on track? However, you're observation about age is certainly valid, just look at the fine service Sheets Byrd was to West Virginia. And ole Strom Thurmond was a man of principles and manners but I am not real sure he was speaking for South Carolina, most of the time. You might want to hold off on FAXing that return to IRS, they probably won't deal with it real well. If you can't find your envelope with notes and phone numbers on it, let me know, I have a couple on hand with that kind of stuff but have no idea who the numbers belong too–you're welcome to them!!
I've never seen it offered at Ruth's Chris or Outback but Burger King has been know to 'have it their way' with steak like products!—
Could be that the place was a swamp….
and always will be…
There's a reason why the section between Georgetown and the Whitehouse is called Foggy Bottom. Being from New Orleans, I probably ought not say too much about swampsand low lying areas.—
I was station at Ft.Gorden for a few months…
I really liked that part of the country….
They used to run an MP school there, back in my day. So far, I have found something good about almost everywhere I have been in the US. It was pretty hot in Lake Havasu City but after some degree hot is just hot. It gets very humid along the Gulf Coast but I noticed the humidity more in DC and central PA than New Orleans. DC is a unique place, very pretty, the layout is orderly and easy to learn. I think the government should be relocated out of Washington. In fact I am starting to think that we would be better off with regional governmental structures. The word United in United States has about as much usefulness now as the word State. Under this congress and Obama, America is becoming the United StatE of socialism. I have NO allegiance to California and would do absolutely nothing to protect or defend them. Hell, I'd sell them to Mexico if we could get a deal done in gold!! We need to decentralize these monsters and get back to the basics.—
Grassley has never met a farm subsidy or payout to a farmer from the taxpayer he doesn't like. Just mention to him that you would like to see the ethanol subsidy stopped.
The guy will go ballistic. Grassley is BIG CORN!
Looks like the guy on the left (how appropriate) is rockin' him some camel toe.
Fitting for a guilt ridden white eunuch.
Sounds like a typical Breibart commenter here – claims to be conservative but has such a bad case of White guilt they are more harm than good to us. Blacks are all doctors and reverends – and the MSM never challenges them. Just like they are Black supremacists but the MSM, including Fox, labels them "Civil Rights Activists." I am one of the few who brings perspective here on race.
Yeah… too bad. He was scammed on Pigford, but the ethanol link is deliberate. I think he was trying to help his constituents, mostly farmers. Ethanol is VERY PROFITABLE in Iowa.
Dr. John Boyd's brother, "Bishop" Tyronius Jackson and his sister "Saint" Nyqueesha Washington are in the "Justice League" fighting lack of integrity and, as always, for the chillruns.
Somebody pass that free cheese down here.
LOOK YOU MORONS Chuck Grassley is a gentlreman politition!!! Always has been and always will be. He has championed issues that anyone that doesn't farm doesn't understand!!! I have always believe and trusted Grassley's stand for the the last 30 years. No one has tried to give agriculture a fair shake than Brother Chuck. The farm crisis, he was there! Ethanol, without him us "po dirt farmers" would still not have a market!!
As far as Pigford, there must be an underlying reason that my Senator Chuck Grassley supported it to seek some favor from some A$$hole to better the food and farm industry altogether!!! Bite me you ungrateful bastards when you ridicule MY representitive. My only regret is that Chuck isn't 40 anymore and his time to actually lead is short. GOD HELP US ALL!!!!!
HEY NOMNAME, if you had a clue about ETHANOL you would realize that just like any other commodity it is speculated on by your IRA, 401(K) and any mutual fund that you may have "invested" in. Learn what your talking about beore you make an a$$ out of yourself!!!!!!!!!!!
Grassley watched as Jimmy Carter used our grain as a weapon against Russia when the attacked Afganistan in 1979. Grassley spent 25 years trying to keep your banks from imploding from farm debt. Here again learn your F'in history moron, before you critize a man that has help keep America from imploding!!!
80 years old and still has more than you in intelligence and CLASS!!!!
YOU GOT IT BROTHER!!! Grassley is a champion and I will debate any A$$HOLE that says otherwise!!!!
Then if ethanol is so profitable, maybe it just doesn't need government subsidies…so why does ethanol have subsidies?
Furthermore it takes more fuel to produce ethanol than the fuel that ethanol produces.
Not too different than plugging an electric car into an outlet that gains it's electricity from a coal fired plant.
It makes no sense…which is precisely why the government subsidizes it.
might want to follow your own advise there, MadBohemy.
fraud is fraud, any way you spin it….and support of fraud or giving a conman legitimacy is condoning fraud.
Pigford I and II is ripe with fraud. to support such nonsense is a disservice to the American taxpayer.
"DR" john Boyd has been scamming black farmers for years.
It is understandable that you would want to protect your personal interest…but we're broke and the current course is simply unsustainable.
Calling people morons does not change that simple fact that soon we will not afford the interest on our debt.
I am not ridiculing Grassley, I am extremely disappointed in his actions regarding Pigford II sponsorship, that is my son's future being squandered on nonsense. Excuse me for being irritated. this is unacceptable behavior. i am sick and tired of the people's representatives pandering to lobbyists and in this case with Boyd, a fraudulent conman lobbyist.
Sad but true, they need someone to keep those corn subsidies coming in,I'm sure the administration uses that to keep him in line.
If you are referring to the Berkley studies, those dope fried hippies that play economists took all cost, including farm production, transportatation and then processing of ethanol into their equation. All energy costs, from the production of the seed to the havesting and transportation to the ethanol plant. These are inherent costs that would be realized even if the corn was made into flakes. GET IT? If you were serious about a discussion instead of puking up punch lines you would research these things. Talking points don't make fact.
As far as BIG Corn goes, you and and your uninformed bretheren need to make a little visit to the Iowa Corn Growers Association. They have an educational segment that is written for children that does an excellent job of explaining why and how this works. It even has pictures.
If you love subsidies you love crony capitalism. The government needs to get out of subsidies. When the government picks winners through subsidies some of that money returns to their pockets to get them re-elected. It's a self-perpetuating enterprise.
Yeh….
Except for the fact that unless you live on a farm and all your machinery that needs gas is on that farm, you can't get anywhere. Like electric cars…..they have a limit they can run on a charge. Then you're dead in the water.
There's no infrastructure for ethanol. Even less of electric.
But hey, congress thinks it's cool so all the farmers who used to grow, UH FOOD, switched to corn for ethanol and now food prices are THROUGH THE ROOF CAUSE EVERYONE GROWING FUEL THAT HAS NO METHOD OF DISTRIBUTION. YOU CAN'T FIND IT.
Until the INFRASTRUCTURE for these alternate fuels is in place in EVERY SERVICE STATION ON EVERY HIGHWAY…..THEY'RE USELESS. helleven if you found a charging station, you'd have to stay there 7 hours to recharge your cars. For farm equipment etc, kewel, ethanol's great. But normal drivers…good luck refueling.
Well since you indicate you KNOW about ethanol………SHARE WITH US WHAT THAT MARKET HAS DONE TO OUR FOOD PRICES AND THE FEED PRICES FOR STOCK AND WORK ANIMALS.
It's like the scam of going to California, buyin farmland, and NOT raising avocados. THE FED GOV'T PAYS YOU TO NOT GROW THEM.
PARDON ME IF I CALL THAT A SCAM WE CANNOT AFFORD ANY MORE THAN THIS "GREEN" ETHANOL CRAPPOLA AND PIGFORD.
WHAT PART OF BROKE KEEPS GIVIN RAZOR SHARP LEGISLATORS LIKE GRASSLEY PROBLEMS????
Oh and btw….I've never owned ONE ENTITY THAT INVESTED IN COMMODITIES. DON'T LIKE THE WAY THEY ROLLERCOASTER UP AND DOWN EVERY QUARTER SO I SELECT FUNDS THAT DON'T PLAY THAT MARKET.
AND SO, I EXPECT, DO LOTS OF OTHER PEOPLE AND COMPANIES…FOR THE SAME REASON. THEY HIDE INFORMATION LIKE THAT IN COMPANY INFORMATION AND ANNUAL REPORTS.
SMART PEOPLE READ THEM TO FIND OUT WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH THEIR MONEY.
Duece I don't think he fooled you but it seems to work in his district. I'll bet they think they're getting a democrat, well because they are.
"Dr." John Boyd's brother, "Dr." Gboweh George, demonstrates another African contribution to American Society.
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/...
The shameless subspecie has no limits.
He's just an old fool that hides his own Easter eggs….
A-hole, I watched Grassley, live, with my own 2 eyes, go nuts, when someone was testifying about the damage that ethanol was doing to world food supplies, and the unintended consequences that the ethanol subsidies were causing to people in the developing world. At the time, I traveled to these parts of the world and saw the food shortages first hand and the impact on the people. Grassley, called this person every name in the book, and even started yelling at him. Grassley is for the big corporate farmers and Ag interests, like ADM and Monsanto.
Go to hell.
Agreed…totally. And although we live in Iowa, we don't put it in our cars. Grassley IS helping his farmers. Just not the rest of the country. He did oppose Obamacare, and was one of the first to expose its death panels. He isn't always wrong. But he is wrong this time. I think he is a very good man.
Agreed, CAL sucks (CAL is UC-Berkeley, in case you did not know that), my friends hail from Stanford. GES majors…that kind of stuff.
Might want to check out the GES school rankings on the Cardinal before you further pontificate and you insult the research veracity of that one.
What you are describing is better known as the "carbon footprint". I know some folks who have cranked some numbers on that issue.
What I say about the efficiency of ethanol is indeed true and that little fact scares you.
It does not make sense.
Furthermore, given the current prices of corn futures, why does corn need government subsidies?
Kapish?
Although I would love to get all of my educational information from the Iowa Corn Growers Association, I think I will stick to the non -biased scientific factual data. You regurgitate their agenda impeccably. Kudos.
Again , I understand your personal need to protect your interests, but the subsidy thing is beyond our budget.
Current spending is unsustainable. Maybe you try this really great concept called capitalism and self sufficiency.
But , hey, it's your world, we're just living in it.
…and we're paying for it.
I am with ya' Texas..read my response to the mouthpiece of the Iowa Corn Growers Association.
Ethanol is total FUBAR.
My tweet to him @ChuckGrassley I would really hope you would investigate "Dr." John Boyd and his fraudulent activity in Pigford. And his 1999 lawsuit 10M$
Going to have some followers start asking questions.
I can be reached @goatsred
He is a coward. He refused to fight against Obamacarre. It was left to the people to lead the fight against Obamacare.
I'm so glad it wasn't just me. I didn't know if it was depends or an azz on both sides.
Here, read up on what 'Pigford Crook' Grassley has been up to re the criminals at the ATF http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5...
This 'coward' is kicking the Holder Dept of Social Justice and the Obama gun grabbers right in the teeth.
He went "panoche" on the fight of our time — health care. He will only pick a fight he knows he can win.
Lee you are amazing. Remember that Andre Carson and the other members of the Congressional Black Caucus lied about the protesters calling them the "N" word when Obamacare was on the verge of being passed.
Fantastic work!!
Poopie tongue! Go hug your little sell-out Senator.
I too am paying for it. If you don't think that agriculture doesn't "pay" you are sadly mistaken. Here again, unless you have experienced the "welfare" state of agriculture then just shut up! All the subsidies you hard working Americans pay for ethanol go to blenders, not farmers. $7 corn is the result of speculators looking for the quick score, not farmers holding out for more money. If you have any type of mutul fund you too are to blame for high food and fuel prices. Funds hold a third of this nations production as speculative holdings, So I guess it's our world.
As far as educating me, BITE ME!!! I couldn't give a rip less about any "study" done by tree hugging bunny rapers.
When you intellectuals are starving, we welfare receiving, carbon emmittting, enviorment destroying outlaws will look pretty respectable.
When you "invest" in a mutual fund you know exactly what you've put your money in? Bull. Isn't diversification your "goal".
I know that after alcohol is made a product called distillers grains, 32 pounds of it to be exact are, are used as a protien in cattle, hog and chicken feed. Thats after you lose 15% of 56 pounds of corn as inital moisture, take 2.4 gallons of alcohol and about .4 cubic feet of carbon dioxide form a bushel of corn. Oh yeah, I forgot the germ they take out first. If you thought that the by product of alcohol was just thrown away you are as foolish and uniformed as the rest of America.
You live in Texas, why aren't you screaming about Mexican trucks being retrofitted at $1600 a pop improve emissions to run in America and your home state. http://www.thebigfeedblog.com. Take about a waste of money.
Oh yeah, that wasn't Palin on Saturday Night Live, it was Tina Fey.
Finally. I thought I was the only one who could see Senator Grassley as a good representitive. Our conservative leaders have to do some untasteful things to "negotiate" good legislation. I believe that Pigford is fraud, but what underlying legislation was attached to it. How fast the memories of the good fall when a finger can be pointed at these compromises.
In the 1920's Lenin starved 15,000,000 people to death to bring Russia into communism. I watched a documentery on it the other night on PBS and they claimed it was weather that caused the Great Famine. A revision of history at best. Bill Clinton shipped thousands of tons of "humanitarian" aid to Somallia in the 1990's. It rotted and was eaten by rats on the docks because warlords would not let it be distributed. We lost good soldiers trying to feed your hungry in every third world sh!t hole that has politcal unrest. I can't figure out how making alcohol out of corn is "STARVING' the world.
Alcohol doesn't become ethanol until it is blended with gasoline. A blenders credit of 50 cents is given to the blender, not the farmer, and is passed on to the consumer. Speculators have raised the price of corn to $7 dollars a bushel. Farmers are not in control of their own markets and Ducks Unlimited are the 5th biggest government subsidy recipient and they don't even grow corn.
By the way, you and the Honorable Senator Grassely have alot in common when it comes to name calling!!!
Ethanol is a great thing. Furry Porn Comics Although it may be bad for engines it keeps our wallets full.
