Pigford Breeds Internal USDA Corruption
by Lee StranahanThe Pigford debacle combines billions of dollars, easy, repeatable methods to commit fraud, and no internal oversight, so it really comes as no surprise that some of the people inside the USDA would try to get their own slice of the Pigford Pie.
Pigford researcher, author, and Hoover Institute fellow Peter Schweizer has spoke to multiple sources who claim that not only has at least one individual inside the USDA been responsible for hundreds of thousands of dollars in fraud, but that person is actually still working at the USDA. This is just one more reason USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack needs to consider a career change. It seems like it’s going to take Congressional hearings to allow the whistleblowers to speak openly.

I'm just glad I never have to feel sorry for another Black Person over that whole Slavery thing.
They have all been paid, we (the White Race and Black Race) are even.
The Money saved on Affirmative Action alone, because there is no need for Affirmative Action now, will pay the Taxpayers back in a few years time.
"It seems like it’s going to take Congressional hearings to allow the whistleblowers to speak openly."
And perhaps a guarantee that someone will provide protection. Once this ugly string gets a real tug on it, we will likely see some grotesque on the other end along with a new ugly string. The government crime syndicate will be mighty ornery and might attempt some slander or other divisive measure. Oh wait, they already engage in those things. Let’s start tugging, I can’t wait.
To me, the Pigford case is a prime example for the need of tort reform, ASAP. Legislation that would limit the amount of monies the U.S. can be sued for. Because in the end, it's the woeful taxpayer that gets stuck for someone in government's missteps. That "someone" walks freely away, while the taxpayer gets it in the shorts. You can bet, that the biggest lobby squeaky wheel will be the trial lawyers that have been forever ripping off the taxpayers.
Tug hell lets hook up a D8 pull for all it is worth
Merry Christmas
All I want for Christmas is a govt that is actually by the people and for the people, is this to much to ask Santa for?
Corruption in the federal government? Who would have thought.
I think tort reform will never happen due to the fact that if it is reformed govt would lose their best way of redistributing every ones wealth.
Off topic: Senate ratifies Start treaty…weakens America….
The corruption just gets more rampant with every passing day. I'm surprised they just don't have gov't officials show up in gated communities and demand people give half their stuff. The "rich" are now the serfs of the gov't.
Here's the question though. The democrats are waging war on the successful. Since we have the most punitive ("progressive") tax structure of any nation on the planet, who will pay for Obamugab'es unicorn farms and the Pigford frauds when there are no rich left over, and the botttom half of the nation contributes nothing? When 1% pays nearly half the taxes, and the goal is to destroy that 1%, who will pick up the tab? Soros?
Isn't the use of the word "government" and "corruption" in the same sentence an oxymoron?
Just like the bailouts are being returned to the tax payers.
I've told y'all before and I'll say it again, THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING, the proverbial foot in the door.
Since a few 'blacks' have been "repaired" it IS only fair that the balance be afforded the same courtesy.
SOUTH AFRICA MUCH???
.
Now that's what I'm talking about. When we finish cleaning the mess, we can turn around and bury it for good too.
Merry Christmas to you and your family as well. I hope your New Year is a prosperous one.
Now Obama has bowed and sold out to the Russians. I believe he is afraid of them!
Keep at it. I wish there was a network news show that would dedicate time and resources to this issue. Hmmm…maybe Breitbart should be a network tv news show….
Well, BO and Holder got their wish for reparations. Seems we have some 90,000+ black farmers in the US for the pigford II settlement where, when all this alleged discrimination took place, we only had something like 18,000. Somehow there is something definitely wrong with this picture. Maybe anyone who once had a family garden plot can now claim to have been a farmer.
Now THIS is what I'm talking about. Keep goin' Stranahan, you know this is the tip of of the ugly iceberg. Vilsack is not the only one who needs a career change.
In all honesty we will need to had multiple D8 to pull this twisted sting straight again.
As far as I am concerned Pigford falls right in line with their stated plan of redistribution of wealth. Politicians know full well that they can never get reparation past the people so they will go through back doors and get a piece at a time.
I'm glad he posted this one, I got mad at him yesterday. Then I thought……well, I guess he's used to writing for people who don't know anything. Only the beginning is right…….this thing has more tentacles than an octopus.
All Pigford evidence needs to be turned over to a Federal Grand Jury via a Federal Judge.
Issa isn't going to do anything about it nor is Bachman.
It's time for Congress to step in to keep these civil SERVANTS in line.
IMO, the only thing that would hold back tort reform, would be because the trial lawyers have their hands into to many congressional wallets. Add, that many congressmen/women are lawyers. The American Bar Association (Trial Lawyers) are one of the largest lobby in Washington
I can not argue with that, if we want to see tort reform them the people making the laws can not be predominately from the law profession. It has always struck me funny how the only people who can really understand the laws passed by our govt are lawyers, but when I realized that most of our elected politicians used to be lawyers it all made sense.
Being how he's afraid of his own shadow, not to mention the First Sasquatch who wears the pants in that family unit, I'm hedging my bets that you're right.

It's a freak octopus sisty. I think this one came with a Siamese brother. Makes it doubly hard to watch all those tentacles. Yikes.
So what is the guy's name….?
Does that mean we are now finally in the post-racial period?
Please keep digging Mr. Stranahan. I've been waiting nearly 40 years for another Bernstein and Woodward to hookup and do a major hit piece on DC exposing government corruption, only this time it'll be known as Breitbart and Stranahan. Hell yes!
If this can go on and on like this, clearly whistleblowers need more incentive, or at least less reason to be fearful of losing their place.
Unfortunately ethics alone isn't getting the job done.
I get the part about him being used to writing for folks who are waaaay less informed than WE
here on the BIG's are. Perhaps Mr Stranahan should have read all the back stories that had
appeared on here before he began this series. He seems to be writing for a much less sop-
histicated audience. I do understand however that we have newbies here that are not up to
speed either. Just a few days ago someone asked the most uninformed question at the top
of a thread, and I realized that not everyone here is at the same level of knowledge. Of course
this being USDA, I was interested in this mess ten or more years ago. I hope to have time to
reread all of this tonight, whether my brain will absorb it, is up for question. STILL BAKING!!!
; )
You are so right. We are looking at every darn thing that goes through the Congress now with an eyebrow raised. They aren't liking having that visibility either.
The ENTIRE Pigford payout is a fraud. Anybody who says there was any racial discrimination against "black farmers" is living in a left-wing fascist fantasyland, just like Obama, that deeply stupid affirmative-action parasite. For the past 50 years, the only racial discrimination in this country has been on the part of the government against White people. This Pigford business is just another in a long, long line of scams from beginning to end. It's based on lies and false assumptions and the evil, unconstitutional left-wing laws that have been passed based on those lies and assumptions. Not a single penny should be paid out to any "black farmer" or any other parasite whether they claim to be a farmer or not.
For those out there who do not believe the USDA is corrupt, you have never been in the farming or ranching industry. The USDA is only exceeded in corruption, by the BLM and the USFS.
So it has been proven for a fact that employees within the Department of Agriculture discriminated against minorities in granting assistance to farmers. Therefore, the Dept. of Agriculture employees who committed these illegal acts of discrimination have been fired, disciplined, or criminally charged, correct?
Your Right. I remembered something about a 16 legged octopus not too long ago. I found a pic. This should be the "mascot" for Pigford. http://entertainment.webshots.com/photo/297901052...
You've got it nailed…

When the new Republican congress is sworn in they need to immediately begin dismantling the democrat crime syndicate in DC. This criminal Pigford deal should lead to congressional hearings, indictments and imprisonment. Democrats are literally raiding the taxpayers coffers; in a sane nation they would be flogged and jailed.
Except they are exposing corruption on the left. This will be marked as a blip rather than a turning point.
There has been discrimination. There still is discrimination.
However, Pigford is largely fraud.
They called it RHODESIA.
Corn,
I gave your crazy tree another shake today, just for you to see what fell out of the branches.
I see it is still raining crazies.
Like I told that stupid "Christian" bitch last week, "if the shoe fits"……..
Ooops. I used the f word. Guess I'll lose some points for that.
Hopefully the next Congress will have the n*)rds to do what is necessary. If they are anything like this lame yuck (there, I fixed it) session, I fear we are doomed.
It really irks me that nothing is being done about this corruption and outright thievery.
It's almost like a "Vast Left Wing Conspiracy".
That would be redundant.
These Progressives don't stop at the Democrat Party's edge. My hope is that they ALL go down. MAybe we could lose a few Departments Of while we are at it.
You are correct sir. One of the original plantifs so in an interview "if you had a flowerpot you could file a claim" After they refiled the suit to cover those who missed the filing date they masses lined up with their hands out. Well maybe I should say the lawyers lined up with their hands out. Thats when the full scale corruption started.
Go figure.
I admire your bluntness. Some of the originals claims are valid. It's just been blown so out of realistic proportions that it taints all the claims. At this point I'm done with the white guilt. Never felt it actually. You can only do so much for someone before you got to say stop, enough. 50 years is long enough.
probably promoted. with a big bonus and a nice retirement package.
Obummer will never ask Ballsac to resign. He's performing the reparations job that Obummer and his mob administration want done.
The thing with corrupt ideas is that corruption grows with a corrupt idea. Corrupt ideas will never spawn anything good. It will be corrupt people who utilize them and corrupt people who run them. So in the end, you will have a huge amount of corruption. Any idea this corrupt is bound to have a grand champion of corruption in charge of it. My best guess is we will have Barney Frank as its spokesman soon.
Pigs at the Federal trough.
It Christmas all year round in the Federal Government! There is something for every black with a pen in their hand. There are no limits – steers, queers, blacks, one-legged Eskimos, and the list goes on and on! don't you just love the corruption within the Federal Government. And they wonder why the Tea Party wants the size of government reduced!
This is a perfect example of the United States. Government and lawyers associated with corruption, fraud and theft and at the same time taking advantage of blacks while sticking it to the tax payer. Wow, it dose not get any better than this! The crime also being commented here is it’s as if no one even cares.
Minority farmers were discriminated against for decades. This rights a wrong and helps even the playing field.
Move on to ANOTHER topic, willya? Breitbart should have PLENTY of targets for you Aryans to focus on as he continues his suicidal, bizarre jihad against black Americans and other minorities.
And ya'll thought Bernie Madoff was the biggest crook around.
It is nice to see this story is still being covered. Having been off the boards for a while, it is refreshing to know there is a push to get this thing exposed.
I personally look forward to a boat load of inquiries into the massive fraud throughout the Fed.

Cutting a check for $50G to someone who has a couple of potted plants on their porch "rights a wrong"? Nonsense You deny there is no fraud?
