The American Revolution…REBOOTED!
by Leigh ScottIf I had a dollar for every time some tool during the health care debate brought up how “we’re the only industrialized” nation in the world without socialized health care I’d have a lot of money. Why, I could even retire from my current job of poisoning the environment and taking advantage of the working man. I could, you know, relax.
Even the U.K., the drones blather, has government run health care. I guess they think we can identify better with the U.K. because they’re mostly white and speak English. I don’t know. I won’t waste any time trying to figure out the left’s thought process. Doing so would be as dangerous and pointless as trying to decipher the Necronomicon.
Invoking the U.K. as a model should, naturally, have the opposite effect on the American psyche. I hate to bring it up, but we kinda fought a war a couple hundred years ago to insure that we were NOT just like England. We already had the English life. We were right there and we rejected it.
Think of all the things we missed out on, only to aspire to end up in the same place. Our fish and chips are inferior. Guinness served over here is never quite as fresh. We don’t have tea time. I really like tea. We also ditched the cool accents. I mean seriously, I could have sounded like Ian McKellan or Sean Connery if it wasn’t for those clowns Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson.
Thanks to the American Revolution we can’t claim Led Zepplin, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Arctic Monkeys, The Smiths, Blur or the Spice Girls as our own. James Bond is not our brother. Neither is Dr. Who. On top of it, I would probably be a Lord or Earl or something. Damn it, Lord Leigh Scott of Wauwatosa sounds freaking awesome! Thanks a lot Thomas Paine.

The second half to the whole “we’re the only nation to not have” nonsense is that we are the “richest” nation. To that, I would like to affirm the obvious. We are the richest nation precisely because we DON’T have bloated, intrusive, nanny state government.
But Leigh, they say, it’s over. They passed it. Elections have consequences. Just deal with it.
I think that’s a dangerous idea. Accepting defeat when it is so far on the horizon for our great nation would be a huge mistake. I quote my almost countryman Winston Churchill when I say “Do not let spacious plans for a new world divert your energies from saving what is left of the old”.
No matter how you want to spin it, what happened at the end of March was indeed historic. Circumventing the “spirit” of the law to force a massive expansion of government has never happened before. Both the Social Security Acts of 1935 and 1965 passed with healthy bipartisan majorities. They weren’t “squeakers” voted late on a Sunday night after months of back room deals and shady pay-offs.
The process that just gave us the Obamacare more closely resembles the power grabs in Central America than it does anything Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton wasted their time writing about.
Oh, yeah. I forgot to mention Lily Allen and Oasis. Great, we can claim Lady Gaga and Avril Lavigne. Wait, Avril Lavigne is Canadian? Damn it. Thanks again Alexander Hamilton.
Back to the point. The Left has made a critical error here. My Dad used to say “never make a threat unless you’re willing to follow through”. He was talking about fights on the playground, and later in business about suing people, but I think it’s true here. When you try to rig the system, ignore the will of the people, and rely on a favorable press to push a socialist agenda you better have the other toys that usually come in the evil dictator/commie/socialist toolkit. The American Left doesn’t.
Do you really think that any of this stuff is enforceable? What are they going to do when we all just stop paying taxes? What if we simply say “no thanks” to signing up with Blue Cross/Blue Shield? There aren’t enough jails. How long before the local police refuse to arrest people? The new bill calls for 15,000 new IRS agents, not 15 million.
Do you think that the 101st Airborne is going to accept an order to invade Arlington, TX?
The only way socialism overtakes America is if we accept it. If we simply mope around and complain about our taxes and the government like we always have. The only way this becomes the nightmare we all fear is if we let it.
And that is exactly what they expect us to do.
Unlike their heroes in Venezuela and Cuba, the left doesn’t have the muscle. I’ve gone head to head with union thugs. Not that scary. Sorry Nancy Pelosi, but I don’t see a Che Guevara in your future who can force social justice with the barrel of a gun.
It’s going to take more than Nancy Pelosi’s over-sized gavel, MSNBC, and presidential double talk to drive this country into the same recycle bin that the EU finds itself. It would take guns. And thanks to George Washington and Co., we have those too.
The Second American Revolution will be bloodless. It will amount to rank and file citizens sitting on their hands and on their wallets. Remember what our almost countrywoman Margaret Thatcher said; “the problem with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money”. Agreed Maggie. I say we cut it the purse strings early.
The ultimate genius of the Founding Fathers wasn’t simply the Constitution. We saw how malleable that piece of paper was Sunday night. No, their genius is the political philosophy behind it. It’s in the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, The Federalist Papers, and Paine’s Common Sense. It’s now part of our DNA, our national identity. The government works for us, we don’t work for it. When the government forgets that and oversteps its bounds…time for a new government.
And that idea, my friends, it tougher to beat than a few parliamentary procedures or stubborn representatives.
So I take back what I said. Who wants to be an Earl anyway? The American Revolution insured that we have what no one else has: true liberty and freedom. Millions of our countrymen did not sacrifice their lives to allow us to slip into the same wretched trap that the rest of the world has. Our countrymen stared down legions of Redcoats, and we can’t stare down a botoxed illiterate like Nancy Pelosi? Our countrymen endured hand to hand combat with Nazi SS soldiers and we can’t put a moron like Paul Krugman in his place? Right now our brave brothers and sisters battle crazed Islamic militants who dream of death, and we can’t tell the goon at Starbucks with three earrings who lives in his parent’s basement, working on his “band”, where to stick it? Please.
Outside of our fondness for scotch and red meat, we are now nothing like our cousins in jolly old England. Thank God for that. Sure, the U.K. can claim Duran Duran, but we have Nirvana. And Prince. And The Doors. Plus, we have MGD and PBR. Guinness is good, but it’s a bit filling, like a milkshake. I’d like to insert a Daniel Day Lewis “milkshake” joke here, but I don’t think enough people will get it.
Anyway, I still kinda wish I had the cool accent.

I always found it amazing how much faith these people put into laws. They think that they can legislate anything and it will solve all of our problems. Laws are only words, they need teeth, have to many laws and the teeth will either bite everybody or nobody.
I think these arrogant politicians are playing with fire, they don't understand the American spirit. Nor do they have any clue that we will shoot back. A country that has a population that is as self-driven as ours, will take matters into it's own hands(as we are seeing). But which makes the most sense, I ask, a LIBERTY given to you by what is not determined to be restricted?
Or a LIBERTY defined by what is expressly acceptable?

There is NO PROFIT for those whom would lead a government structured for LIBERTY! So if there is NO PROFIT for those that govern to DEFEND liberty, than how can the citizens PURSUE liberty?
Citizens can PURSUE liberty by ensuring there is no CARROT of PROFIT for those whom would govern.
But you might say to me, “There is no FREEDOM in PROFIT! This is the evil that should be eliminated!”

But would it not be true to say that we speak of the concept of GREED? If this is our goal, to CONTROL the reigns of GREED, whom would have the consistent knowledge and unbiased personal understanding to determine how to deal with GREED?
What divine understanding would guide our own fate into the hands of others whom would be our friend so they can claim to eradicate this scourge of GREED which lies upon the soul of mankind? More importantly, whom is clairvoyant enough to be able to peer into the minds of mankind to determine whom is operating with GREED and even more curious is the question “Whom shall determine what is considered GREED and what might be a called a natural desire to make a PROFIT to provide for one’s family?”
You then might say to me, “That is clear, the government will provide the mechanism that will gain control of this fiend called GREED, they will take it and will guide it to achieve the FAIRNESS that we believe is necessary for the general welfare of all.”
And I say to you, “How do we resolve these two concepts that are in direct violation of each other? ‘There is no PROFIT for those whom govern to preserve LIBERTY’ and ‘We must give our LIBERTY to the government to save us from GREED to ensure the general welfare’.”
You cannot hold these beliefs as consistent concepts in your mind at the same time. It is IMPOSSIBLE!
Why is it impossible? There is only one method to fairness that can secure LIBERTY and tame GREED.
That is to put the power of GREED into a system where this ability to gain economic power through greed is distributed in society and most likely to be diluted among the population. But leveraging government to help grow Big Business consolidates the economic power to a few and thus the propensity for GREED to thrive will grow, guiding economic power through government control only consolidates and hides the GREED that is unleashed on the population.
Is this the recipe for “General Welfare”, I think NOT!
Take note my friends for the common factor for the exposure to GREED is not mankind itself but the interference of THE GOVERNMENT itself!
Such that, if it is true that GREED will only blossom under the distorting influence of GOVERNMENT then we must ascertain that the full force of GREED cannot be realized without a fully functioning society that embraces the concept that LIBERTY shall be defined by what is expressly acceptable.

Man I love the references to British pop music. They do have us beat in that category, I think that is in THEIR DNA. But, like the author of this piece said, we have freedom and liberty in our DNA.
One thing the left is trying to do to the U.S, which is like the UK, is the class system. It's always been rich versus poor from the liberal perspective, but now education is becoming a title of nobility. I think it's great that Obama (and W) went to Harvard. Awesome. But that is not the same as being knighted or given a lordship or however the hell the Brits used to govern themselves. That fact that you are so "smart" does not give you more right to make decisions for me than I have for myself.
That's ok for Europe because they have thousands of years of history dealing with nobility, monarchies, social planning, all that stuff. America is different, we grew up with our own, UNIQUE culture, that isn't influenced by the class system or royalty, and being comfortable with serfdom.

There are literally 1000s of these websites and they have passed this message to ALL OF THEM!!!
This is partly misdirection and partly voter intimidation just be safe and be on guard against these masked thugs!!!
This country was founded upon total liberty. We got rid of the King 200+ yrs. ago, there is no one here to "provide for" and "take care of us". Each free individual was to be the King of his own castle, assuming full responsibility for himself. A free person is responsible for paying his own bills, not looting his neighbors to pay them.
It doesn't matter what other countries do, they do not have the freedoms we have here. Liberty and security are opposites, the more one has of one, the less he has of the other.
Our Founders did not erect a Marxist welfare state and did not intend that it become one. Socialism is a ruthless police state dictatorship incompatible with liberty (just look at Cuba). If anyone needs to be "taken care of", he is in the wrong country and needs to find one with a King.

This is so true of Barack Obama, who loves to boast about history being made through Obamacare etc. He blindly flails on, fundamentally changing our country as promised, and all to its destruction. We have to hang on long enough to erase the "history" that he has written, and still wishes to write.
I have no opinion about where Obama may have been born (although I have an idea where he may have been spawned, lol) but you have to admit, from a strictly legal standpoint, the birthers have the right of the argument. If the only document Obama has released to "prove" his citizenship is a document even the gov't of Hawaii admits was issued to infants not born there, then he has NOT provided proof of citizenship. Personally, I think he is refusing to release more info because the birth certificate issue works in his favor politically, making "birthers" the equivalent of "truthers" as you say, but still, he could solve this in a single day, IF HE WANTED TO.
Don't forget the doctored photos of McCain, making him look like a bloodthirsty vampire/shark and the depictions of him in full klan regalia chasing poor old Barack around.

We do what people like us have always done, wait until reality forces itself upon them. "You can evade reality, but you cannot evade the consequences of evading reality." They can try all the socialist BS they want, even make some of it happen, but the US is the prime motive force of the world economy. Other nations have had the luxury of indulging themselves in their moralistic fits of socialist utopianism, but when we fall, we take the whole world with us. There will no longer be a golden goose to provide the world's security. When the shadow of the Russians and Chinese fall over Europe, I think they will rethink their wealth redistribution priorities a little. And as for us in the good old US(ocialist)SA, we will be broke. The kind of broke even the CBO can't hide. The left can make promises all day about what a free ride they will provide, but when the money dries up the end of the illusion will have come. The socialists will not have us to insulate them from the consequences of their own philosophy anymore. We can only hope enough people learn THIS TIME. But, as they say, "This has all happened before. It will all happen again."

It really would only take two anarchists: one to shout racial epithets and another to record the incident . They could then sell the video to some leftwing organization. Removing anybody doing that and following them home and finding out who they are is essential.

There are few things more sacred to a republic than representation. The one man one vote and all it’s citizens are represented equally promise. Why isn’t voter fraud hounded out of existence? Voter fraud is a direct assault on our republic, it can kill a nation. There is nothing more fraudulent than gerrymandering and it’s creation of an artificial majority based on party affiliation not representation to silence the dissention of we the people. It is one of the reason our congress does not listen to we the people. Gerrymander is a creation of the government parties to protect their power and to turn representation into re-election.. The parties can not speak of freedom until districts are based on representation not party affiliation. Save your It’s constitutional argument, they got it wrong just like abortion

I have much hope that in November we'll speak through the ballot box and remind them they are there by our will and permission. A strong economic engine of investing in small business, lowering tax rates to small business would create a revenue stream capable of employing millions. What the POS is doing is sopping up capital so that it is no longer available to the private sectors in terms of bonds, debentures or lent capital.
We need to stop this stream in November. The house has that responsibility and capability. If we take hold of the financial reins all this CAN BE STOPPED ON A DIME !

Everyone must start asking him to show his birth certificate. It is a simple thing to do. For the good of the country he must put this issue to rest by SHOWING HIS ORIGINAL BONAFIDE BIRTHCERTIFICATE.
