Agenda 21: US and UN Share a Global Vision
by Laura Rambeau LeeThe United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) was held on June 14, 1992 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. At this conference, referred to as the Rio Earth Summit, the participants crafted a blueprint for the world, commonly known as Agenda 21.
In its preamble, Agenda 21, Chapter 1 states “Humanity stands at a defining moment in history. We are confronted with a perpetuation of disparities between and within nations, a worsening of poverty, hunger, ill health and illiteracy, and the continuing deterioration of the ecosystems on which we depend for our well-being. However, integration of environment and development concerns and greater attention to them will lead to the fulfilment of basic needs, improved living standards for all, better protected and managed ecosystems and a safer, more prosperous future. No nation can achieve this on its own; but together we can – in a global partnership for sustainable development.”
In other words, the goal of the United Nations is social and economic justice through a redistribution of wealth scheme using the threat of anthropogenic (man-made) global warming or climate change to implement the market based solution of carbon emissions trading. The International Monetary Fund has proposed a plan for a Green Fund to achieve this goal.
Following this Earth Summit President George H. W. Bush declared:
“Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound reorientation of all human society, unlike anything the world has ever experienced –a major shift in the priorities of both governments and individuals and an unprecedented redeployment of human and financial resources. This shift will demand that a concern for the environmental consequences of every human action be integrated into individual and collective decision-making at every level.”

Despite pressure from the United Nations partners, U.S. delegates did not sign on to the convention.
On June 29, 1993 President Clinton issued Executive Order 12852 establishing the President’s Council on Sustainable Development as a result of the Rio Earth Summit in an effort to cooperate and implement the goals of Agenda 21. That EO was revoked by Executive Order 13138 on September 30 1999.
During George W. Bush’s two terms as President he continued to further the goals of this UN agenda, following his father’s lead.
Why is all of this important? This ties in directly with the push for cap and trade legislation that had been floating around the House and Senate the past few years. When Congress failed to pass a cap and trade bill, on May 14, 2010 the E.P.A. unveiled their rules to regulate greenhouse gas emissions from the largest industrial facilities, with a phased in approach that began on January 1, 2011. As a result we are hearing about the many coal plants that will be forced to shut down in the next few years, because they cannot meet these emissions reduction numbers, and it will be too expensive to retrofit their plants. President Obama announced new CAFÉ standards for automobiles that will require them to achieve 36.5 miles to the gallon by 2016 and 54.5 miles per gallon by the year 2025. The talking points are that this will help us achieve energy security and reduce our use of foreign oil. But the truth is that the United States has committed to the United Nations and its partners to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and these CAFÉ standards will have to be met in order to achieve this goal.
When the cap and trade legislation failed to pass, Senator John Kerry (D-MA) said “The Obama administration has again reminded Washington that if Congress won’t legislate, the EPA will regulate. Those who have spent years stalling need to understand: killing a Senate bill is no longer success. And if Congress won’t legislate a solution, the EPA will regulate one, and it will come without the help to America’s business and consumers contained in the American Power Act.” It is apparent in his statement that this administration is intent on pursuing this agenda with or without Congressional approval.
In April of 2010 Jon Stewart, of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, interviewed Lisa P. Jackson, the Administrator of the E.P.A. During their discussion she stated that they were waiting for the price of carbon to be established so that we could meet our obligations to the country and the entire world. At the time I did not understand what she was talking about, but it is apparent now what she meant.
The United States made commitments to the global community that it would implement emissions reductions, and even though this country never ratified this treaty it is intent on complying with its dictates.

So what we have to fight is a bunch of Radical Socialists in Congress like Reid who will "table" issues and punt them off to Govt and Global Agencies to make our decisions for us? I THINK NOT. That's why they will all be voted out!

Regulations from government agencies are the biggest job killers this any country has and in the U.S. by far the biggest job killer. Also these agencies like the E.P.A., OSHA, USDA and many other that set regulations and enforce them through fines are doing nothing less than acting as legislators, police, jury and judge, clearly they overstep any constitutional authority. These agencies must be shut down.

I was heartened to hear all of the high Officials in the U.K. talking against Entitlement programs and Open Borders, etc. Hopefully things are changing for the better, Country by Country Government whilst the uprisings of the oppressed light the way.
Just came back from attending a FASCINATING and frightening all day seminar on Agenda 21 in Milton, Florida. There were multiple speakers, all experts, and each was equipped with incredible details on everything from an overview, to how it controls our Waters, Education, Local Governments, Lives. How it takes our property rights, and bankrupts our country. AND, I learned a LOT about the fraud of "man-made" global climate change.
They provided an incredible amount of history of the evolution of this incidious initiative. Our EPA and scores of other Federal agencies are signed on to this, and our tax dollars are funding a lot of it.
They confirmed for me that "Socialism to Marxism to Communism" is the path we are on.
I also recently attended a local meeting in Louisiana where two members of the community shared their local experience with Agenda 21, which they were able to thwart.
Also just looked at the ICLEI (International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives) website and see that the city of New Orleans has been a member since 2006. Fortunately, no other Louisiana cities are members, yet.
We learned that the poor folks of Florida have 40 counties which have signed on. But hopefully, with enough public outcry, it can be curtailed before people lose most of their property rights to the United Nations.
It is so hard for me to fathom, that so many in our country and in our government, are going willingly into communism.
This is the basis for ALL the brainwashing in our schools and I've been talking about the UN controlled curriculum for 30 years.. FINALLY it's in the mainstream!

Much UN verbiage sounds relatively innocuous and non-threatening at first glance.
However, if one knows the real meaning of all the "agreed language" (phrases and terms agreed to mean certain things in earlier confabs dating back decades) within those documents, what they are really saying could have come right out of Marx and Engels. "With due regard for the special circumstances of poor nations," for example, really means that they get a complete pass on adhering to the stipulations contained within the documents they sign.
There probably hasn't been a UN meeting "outcome" document written in the last four decades that didn't contain language that is intended to shake down the U.S. taxpayer and to encroach little by little on U.S. sovereignty.
The single most effective way to pull the vast majority of "poor nations" out of their miserable poverty would be to throw most of their leaders in jail and elect honest leaders, providing enough honest, competent people could be found, something I believe to be a near impossibility in most of those countries. All the competent people have fled for jobs in Europe and the U.S.

I will vote for Perry if he wins the nomination … but his aggressive for the Trans Texas Corridor troubles me. That is why, even with him as President, we need a conservative majority in the House and Senate made up of lots of TEA party members and true conservatives. With enough of a majority perhaps we can even get some movement on reducing our funding/following US crap.
Approximately 50% of our electricity comes from coal.
Our supply to our grid doesn't have a lot of extra capacity-let alone areas that can't handle much more load than they already have.
If we start taking coal plants off the grid, then we are going to need to start reducing how much power we use. People aren't going to like that at home or at work.
When, and I mean when, we start taking Nukes [~20% of our supply] off the grid, then people are really not going to like it. Nukes will run out their licenses over the next couple of decades.
We haven't put a new nuke online in a couple of decades. We aren't going to put but maybe a couple online in the next couple of decades. Investors aren't going to invest in something that they may never see a profit from. With all of the rules and regulations, as well as the legal battles that would have to be fought, I can't imagine seeing another nuke built in the US in my lifetime.
If we don't change course, we won't have an energized power grid in the US in less than 20 years. Then it won't matter if we still have incandescents or those hazardous, mercury filled curly deals. If it were up to me, I say burn that coal and gas, and keep splitting those atoms!

A document posted online by WikiLeaks reveals that there were strategy discussions regarding the adoption of a "North American Union" – called the North American Initiative in this case – at the ambassadorial level in the United States government.
The concept of a North American Union largely has been ridiculed by many in government and media. The Wikipedia entry on North American Union calls it a "theoretical economic union" that has "been the subject of various conspiracy theories."
However, WND has built an extensive library of reports that document progress toward the idea, and best-selling author Jerome Corsi's book, "The Late Great USA," shows how the Security and Prosperity Partnership, an agreement signed in 2005 by President George W. Bush, threatens American sovereignty.

The WikiLeaks document was uncovered by investigators with Americans for Legal Immigration, and the organization reports they "appear to confirm an incremental and covert plan within the highest levels of the American and Canadian governments to accomplish deeper 'North American Integration,' while keeping most average citizens in the dark and bypassing the constitutions of the existing three sovereign nations of America, Canada and Mexico."
ALIPAC spokesman William Gheen told WND, "This is the smoking gun. This is not conjecture. This is a high-ranking member of the U.S. government who created this document."
The document, from "a secret 2005 U.S. embassy cable from Ottawa signed by then-Ambassador Paul Cellucci," states:
An incremental and pragmatic package of tasks for a new North American Initiative (NAI) will likely gain the most support among Canadian policymakers. Our research leads us to conclude that such a package should tackle both 'security' and 'prosperity' goals. This fits the recommendations of Canadian economists who have assessed the options for continental integration. While in principle many of them support more ambitious integration goals, like a customs union/single market and/or single currency, most believe the incremental approach is most appropriate at this time, and all agree that it helps pave the way to these goals if and when North Americans choose to pursue them.
In the document, released April 28, Cellucci "expounds upon a well researched and refined plan to mostly replace the existing borders of sovereign nations with some kind of privacy-invading biometric 'security perimeter,' where the borders of the nations will still stand, but information will be exchanged on all citizens in the nations, thus creating a super state law enforcement effort to manage security," according to ALIPAC.
ALIPAC's report said, "The document specifically states that Cellucci and his fellow conspirators fear the U.S. could wake up and secure the borders against contagious diseases and terrorism. He points out that financial interests in Canada fear U.S. attempts to protect citizens from terrorism or pandemics and could interfere with some financial interests in Canada."
The document states:
Even with zero tariffs, our land borders have strong commercial effects. Some of these effects are positive (such as law enforcement and data gathering), so our governments may always want to keep some kind of land border in place… The risk that business will be obstructed at the border by discretionary U.S. actions, such as measures to defend against terrorism or infectious disease, in addition to growing congestion, have become major risks to the economy, inhibiting investment in Canada.
According to ALIPAC, "Here we have a man who has sworn an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America and the people who pay his exorbitant salary and expenses with their hard earned taxes and who is taking the side of financial interests that cannot be bothered by dead Americans killed by Mexican flu pandemics and other diseases, rampaging armies of illegal alien marauders, or the lethal terrorists among them."
The organization warned, "The document is very clear about moving slowly and incrementally and not attempting to arouse public suspicions by making a big move all at once."

The group also concluded the document is consistent with plans for the "North American Community" under its various names that previously have come from the Council on Foreign Relations as well as the writings of Robert Pastor of American University.
"Some Americans who are new to these issues may be asking what this has to do with the topic of illegal immigration?" ALIPAC wrote. "The nonenforcement of America's existing constitution and federal immigration laws is facilitating this North American Integration, North American Community, North American Union plan.
"By not adequately enforcing America's existing immigration and border laws, and by assisting millions of illegal aliens with everything from credit cards to bilingual voice systems demanding we 'press one for English,' an invading economic army has been brought to Americans' doorsteps," the report said.
"While we have documented that illegal aliens are already voting in mass numbers in probably every state, the populist political uprising of Americans, partially reflected in the tea party movement, was stalled west of the Mississippi in the 2010 elections where the largest illegal alien populations resided, yet no investigations or charges are being pursued.
"If the plans to make illegal aliens new legal voters via the Dream Act or Comprehensive Amnesty become reality, then the North American Integration has been accomplished and any political resistance by American patriots will be overridden by the new illegal alien voting block," the report said.
Gheen cited the launch of the idea with the meeting of President George W. Bush Bush, Mexican President Fox and Canadian Prime Minister Martin in 2005, to create a "free flow of people, goods, and services" across the continent.
He noted, "The most recent release from the White House was part of an agreement crafted in secret as well to create this so called 'perimeter,' and instead of identifying terrorists as Islamic extremists, invading illegal immigrants, or forces from outside of America or Canada who might attack, it reads, 'We intend to cooperate to identify, prevent, and counter violent extremism in our two countries. By working cooperatively on research, sharing best practices, and emphasizing community-based and community-driven efforts, we will have a better understanding of this threat and an increased ability to address it effectively.'"

Obamacare eventually defunds Medicare and puts the elderly under the jurisdiction of Obamacare where the IPAB "death panel" will decide based on cost whether the elderly get their heart surgeries or cancer treatments or whether they should take a pain pill instead. This also applies to the chronically ill. When the Dems accuse Paul Ryan of trying to throw grandma over a cliff, they are the ones throwing BOTH grandma AND grandpa over the cliff and then pointing the finger elsewhere. Also, many doctors are opting out of Medicare and Medicaid as their reimbursements have been lowered and the M/M eligibilitiy list has been overloaded by 30-50 million more people.

Yes, but we thought Reid would be gone in 2010. Now he's got 5 more years because of the union doe-does that bought and paid for his re-election. He does have to go – but again – 5 more years. In the next election we need to make him a member of the MINORITY in the Senate. It's obvious that our so-called representatives (many of them) are working AGAINST us, not for us, and those need to be gone. We should not be beholden to the UN in any way, shape or form.

From what I've been reading, Transit Oriented Development means, stop everyone from using cars, and force everyone into small human populated areas, and the only way you travel is on light rail. In your Stack-Em and Pack-Em communities, you would walk everywhere.
As I've been reading about their desire for none of us to own or operate private cars, it puts a whole new meaning to the "Cash for Clunkers" program. With enough digging, I am sure I can make a connection from Cash for Clunkers directly to Agenda 21.
