I Condemn the NAACP: It Should Stand With Tea Parties
by Lisa Fritsch
I condemn the NAACP. I condemn them for siding with radical race-baiting politics that harm race relations in our country and mock the progress of African-American individualism.
Of late, the NAACP has been little more than a nagging, whining thorn in the side of true racial equality and justice. It is time for the NAACP to go back to its original platform: ADVANCEMENT.
Today, the NAACP is stuck more in archaic forms of ideology and relevance more than ever. To be relevant today, the NAACP should stand tall with the tea party’s conservative black members — not united against them.

Thank You Ms Fritsch for all of your hard work!
As a minority myself I too am appalled by this politically motivated hateful and divisive action by the NAACP!
I want to know if my congress(wo)men will be accepting political contributions from the NAACP, NBPP, La Raza or MeCha in light of this patently baseless smear.
Will they be doing their homework and learn who they are taking money from or simply hiding at home or in their offices this campaign season…?

I hope this dear lady has taken precautions against the likely backlash she will experience for standing with the liberty-seekers.
The NAACP's leader best change his name from "Jealous" because that what it seems they are. Jealous and lets not forget petty.
As an American, I too, Lisa, condemn the NAACP for their divisive stance against a political movement. I've always thought it to be our civic duty to stand against anything we disagree with. How else can concensus be reached?
What the NAACP fails to understand (and we in the Tea Parties do) is we are all known by the company we keep. As a collective group we have pushed a few folks out and had signage indicating "NOT a TEA PARTY MEMBER". We get and want NO TAXPAYER MONIES vs the NAACP who has always had their hands out for Government and Corporate shakedowns. Talk about having become obsolete! I bet if I checked in the dictionary under OBSOLETE there would be the NAACP!
Thank you for standing with us on the side of sanity! I am sure there are many other black conservatives as well. It can be very hard to speak out against the grain in a walled off society and we must continue to extend the hand of friendship and support to break down that wall. While many may be afraid to speak out, my hope is that they will vote for the goals represented within the Tea Parties and help us to drive the Progressive agenda from our society. I do have faith in common sense Americans returning to all of our common values which celebrate and enable our individual and collective success via hard work and personal effort.
"I want to know if my congress(wo)men will be accepting political contributions from the NAACP, NBPP, La Raza or MeCha in light of this patently baseless smear."
Also, in return voting to give millions of taxpayers dollars to support the divisive agendas in the future.
And the NAACP does what they do with a straight face. That's what I find amazing.
Thanks Lisa for all your hard work. I wonder if the NAACP is paying attention to voices like yours along with others?
Probably not, but we are….again I applaud and thank you for speaking out.
At one time the NAACP was needed to help people of color achieve equal rights. That has now been accomplished, signified by the fact that America has elected a black president, Barack Obama, and has a black Attorney General, Eric Holder, etc. The NAACP refuses to let their people go on to enjoy their freedom and equality by trying to keep them bound to their narrow racist politics that are reversing all of the equality that they have worked for.
Agreed. The NAACP was needed as a popular uprising to get our leaders to do the right thing, equality for everyone of whatever color.
But now they're just about strongarm tactics, do what we say or we will boycott/protest you, and just about money/power.
Nothing about helping the poor black man to better himself, the advancement of colored people, so to speak.
Is this the change anybody can believe in? The NAACP organization is an organized crime organization, just by their actions for those they are suppose to represent. As my father always taught me, "actions speak louder than words". I encourage those on the left to denounce their racist actions. They are trying to insight violence. That alone is criminal.

I hope I live to see the day where an advancement organization (be it NAACP, Tea Party, unions, March of Dimes, whatever) achieves its goals, then disbands.
For example, we have a black man as President. We can conclusively say that institutional racism is dead. "Colored" people are now free to "advance" as far as their drive and motivation will take them (Being as how it's the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People). They've achieved their goal. Time to move on to the next thing.
Lisa, thank you for standing up for the truth.
I think the NAACP has taken the same path as unions. At one time in the past they did good for people but now have traded that goodnes for bitterness and corruption.
I am a member of a Tea Party.
The membership roll consists of one, me.
The problem as I see it is the left and others such as the NAALCP are either
ignorant of or choose not to realize the TPM consists not of a central head and leadership
but rather an ideology consisting of numerous areas of discontent with the direction and
policies of the government interference and attempted control over the personal lives of the people.
We the People, three little words with a very large meaning.
There are those claiming to be of the TPM who, either due to the lefts infiltration or a misguided
thought process, attempt to paint the TPM as racist, such as the dude with the signage
using racial epitaphs.
I do not condone or accept such as Tea Partiers.
"I am a member of a Tea Party.
The membership roll consists of one, me."
I thought about this yesterday when I heard that the NAACP called on the leadership of the TEA Party movement to stand up and condemn (unfounded) racism in the the TEA Party. This just shows how out of touch the NAACP is and that they have not done their homework about the TEA Party for the reasons you mentioned. I AM the TEA Party leadership – YOU are the TEA Party leadership. The NAACP has been programmed to believe that there must be some one smarter than everyone else in the room who runs the group. They fail to see people as capable to think for themselves.
Touche'!
Right on Lisa. The Tea Party Movement are made up color blind, grass root American mothers, fathers, grandparents, veterans and children that are deeply concerned about the direction of our country. If that's being racist, than count me in!
Thank you for speaking out. You are a great American.
I do cartwheels of joy whenever I see Lisa on Fox or on Glenn Beck. What a voice of reason and intelligence. Whenever I see Lisa's face, I always leave what I'm doing to see what she has to say. She is wisdom personified.
God bless Lisa. My prayers are with you, dear sister!
Here's how I see it Lisa. The NAACP and other "civil rights" activists and organizations are unable to see their own racism due to the degree of attention they give to the perceived racism of others. They cannot see the proverbial forest for all the trees. This is what is known as blind hatred. It's the never ending story wherein the truth is revealed as each of us stands before the mirror to see our true selves…..through the eyes of others.
It's as "K" said in Men in Black. A person is smart. Perhaps he was referring to those who can think for themselves and need no prompting from self declared leaders. He then said that "People are dumb panicky animals an you damn well know it." People are those who go with the flow and follow the herd or herder. They are the lemmings who fall for slogans like "hope" and "change" who are themselves so distracted with their personal lives they resist taking even a pause to observe whats going on in the world around them.
Thanks Lisa …Great to see you and we appreciate your support.
LIsa, after reading all of the posts today about the condemnation of the NAACP, I have to say that your message of advancement and outreach to those that slighted us based on the thinnest of reasoning is the best analysis that I have read. Thank you for helping me to remember that beating down those that we disagree with is no way to ADVANCE the discussion. The Tea Party hand in hand with the NAACP would truely be a most powerful force. That may be a pipe dream, but, if only….
Nice article, and BTW….I'm a white guy from Mississippi and …news flash….being from the south doesn't automatically make you a racist either. This movement is all about love of God, love of freedom and love of this great country. I am so sorry for the many inequities between races over our history. There is no way to reconcile rascism with Christianity. While I will not pretent to be imune to some of the provencial prejudices I was raised with, I pray that throuh God's grace and the indwelling of His Holy Spirit that I have risen above them. I certainly pray that. Dear patriot brothers and sisters of any color, I love you "in Jesus' name" (…oops guess I can't pray in the NC House of Reps) and I will stand beside you in support of EQUAL justice for ALL.
NIce reply. It drives the left NUTS that there is no "leader" of our movement, because with no leader, there is no one to isolate, smear and villlify…it doesn't fit the Rules for Radicals, so they don't know what to do. The concept of a group of free-thinking individuals is more than they can handle because they can't conceive of it. That's what happened to Sarah Palin early on…she was the closest thing they could find, and we see what happened to her. Viva la individu!
Wonderfully refreshing to see character triumph over ideology. The truth IS setting setting us free!
THANK YOU, Ms. Fritsch, for standing up for TRUTH! God Bless You!!!
I agree the NAACP needs to take a step back and choose a different path. We are seeing advancement in the racial sector, however without more support it will be limited. International School in India
