The Next President of The United States Will Be…
by LaborUnionReportThe first GOP debate in South Carolina of the presidential election cycle taking place in South Carolina won’t be a game-changer for who will be the next President of the United States. Even though the “big names” are boycotting too busy to attend the debate (which is a likely mistake, given the opportunity to opine on the current fracas over the union-controlled NLRB’s attacks on Boeing and the state of South Carolina), the person who wins the White House in 2012 can almost assuredly be predicted within a short period of time.
While 2010 was just a warm up, the election of 2012 will be the election that, ultimately, determines the future direction of the United States and, perhaps, its very existence (see debt). While President Obama re-lubricates his 2008 OFA machine, determined to win re-election on the back of Osama Bin-Laden’s quickly-disposed of corpse, GOP contenders are beginning to posture for a shot at the White House.

Winning the White House won’t merely be a matter of money (though that will be necessary), since Obama is hoping to raise $1 billion (undisclosed)—nor, is it a matter of name recognition (though that helps too). It will be, however, all about strategy.
And the strategy begins here…
The person who wins the White House (or any other elected office, for that matter) will be the one who can deliver the most votes—obviously. And, delivering the most votes in 2012 begins at the precinct level. You see, the first person—locally or nationally—who recognizes this and utilizes the precinct strategy will win in 2012.
More importantly, for those who want to impact the 2012 elections, from local officials to the President of the United States, getting involved in precinct activism is the most effective way to do it.
To that end, as a result of a continued effort by two notable individuals, American Majority Action has just launched its Precinct Project web portal.
If you’re not yet familiar with the Precinct Project, here is a brief summary:
Political parties are political vehicles. They aren’t sacred and often times we can see them shift in significant ways when viewed historically. The reason for this movement is that these political vehicles are defined by the people who make them up. They are malleable and can be strongly influenced by dedicated groups of activists.
[snip]
The Precinct Project has been launched in an effort to help educate and motivate conservatives across the country to become more involved in the political process. Toward that end, we are working to gather and curate an ever-growing amount of information about how to become a Precinct Chairman or Committeeman, how to be effective in that role and how to maximize your impact within the party system.
The Precinct Project has a growing bank of resources built into it, including a Precinct Power Presentation to help others understand how important precinct activism is to winning elections and shaping party politics.
Be sure to visit American Majority Action’s Precinct Project and, more importantly, get involved.
Remember, WE can’t win if YOU don’t play.

The Next President will be a Republican.
Count on it.
I'll do you one better. The next President won't just be a Republican. It will be none other than Ron Paul.
It depends on who counts the votes.
Viv has it right….the next POTUS will be a TPM backed Republican….take to the Bank…..
I caught a few minutes of tonight's debate. although I have no strong feeling for any candidate, I liked all their answers. I believe the arguments are being framed correctly. None of them were blasting each other. It was just about what each stood for and asserted. Refreshing…..
If Paul didn't have the most asinine foreign policy ideas (i.e., none), I'd vote for him because I like his fiscal ferocity.
i don't care how much money Obama is trying to raise i honestly think this country is done with him. just look how ridiculous the birth certificate thing was…. just goes to show you how much the people trust him. HERMAN CAIN!!!!
So he can win on that 1% national vote?
His "fans" (and they ARE fans) are loud but few.
Fans, my ass… they are a damn cult! 3….2….1….. ;-P',',',',',',' to the Paulistas!!!
Happy Trails!
; )
I listened to the debate while doing some paperwork, and heard some answers that I liked from many of
the participants. Since I didn't recognize all their voices I had to get up and check "who said that" periodi-
cally. Santorum and Cain impressed me as being forthright and knowledgeable applicants… I would pro-
bably hire either of them.
.
You dun pissed them off now!! As soon as word gets out, they will be thumbing us down big time! :-p
They are RP'ers. Fa-NA-ti-cal Cult!!
;-D ;-D ;-D Sorry dave, I jes' can't help myself… gott'a tell the TRUTH, as I see it, anyway!
.
"…understand how important precinct activism is to winning elections and shaping party politics."
Yep, that's why the slimeball (D) candidate wins so often… ORGANIZE!!! And talk to your damned-fool ignorant neighbors… It can be uncomfortable since most are so steeped in laziness and eager to accept the GARBAGE collectivism peddled by the (D) party (and rarely challenged by the (R) party) that the damned sheep have NO CLUE as to their own interests…
Get out and TALK (and persuade!), and THEN vote…
;-p'''
My herb garden is running for president. Would anyone vote for it instead of obama?
Heh, heh… lilly-livered coward… Why didn't you reply to that RP comment upthread?;-D
Skeert of the TD's ain'cha?
;-p''' bacacha!
A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll indicates President Barack Obama is ahead of all probable and possible GOP candidates tested in hypothetical general election matchups.
The next President will be an American…
… and Winston Churchill lost his re-election bid 79 days after he won World War II. Face facts: The "atta boy!" of bagging bin Laden will pale in comparison to ever-spiraling prices at the pump and in the supermarket… week after week after week, for 18 months.
Mighty Mouse is roadkill. Next?
As long as we keep our eyes open, We will count them.
You and your boifriend Barrie are just whistling past the graveyard little girl….
Ron Paul is the Ralph Nader of this generation. He's a worthless cause, and a vote drain at best
Damn Straight!
Allen West.
Guess what I heard today on the radio while traveling… gas prices are expected to drop severely
in the next few weeks… I hope that prediction is correct. I found it strange, since Mem Day is usually
when they take an upturn. Wish I had paid attention to the source of that report, but nearing the end
of a 6-ish hour drive I was zombied out…
.
A real American who cares about America and her people
See, we got some GREAT potential coming up- even with this debate where the "Big Names" supposedly didn't show, we had Cain (I'd vote for him), Santorum, Pawlenty… It's a good start to getting these names "Big" too. Given the great selection we have though, we'll wind up with a Ron Paul, Newt Gringo, or a Romney on our ticket against Barry Soetorro. After all, in the good ol' boys club, isn't it one of their turns next? I don't know how a voter is ever going to get past the two party corruption.
Yeah, do you have RoseMary? I always thought she'd make a good president, given thyme.
Here you go, Corn. You'll see an awful lot of "it could be over" and "should" cap prices and it "may" be over and "if" there are no supply disruptions and… well, you get the idea. If anything, it's beginning to look like Uuhhhbama's Borg Collective "may have" assimilated CNBC. But then again, I'm just a "dumbsh#t bagger," so what do I know?
;-D
Ron Paul needs to be put out to pasture. Waste of our time even typing his name. Get behind Rand Paul! I see potential POTUS there!
A lousy Republican, but a Republican. Count on it.
Mr. Caine and Mr. Pawlenty ruled the evening. Mr. Paul had some good comments but his disheveled, wild-eyed presence was hard to overcome.
All in all, though, I think the field looked quite good.
I like Herman Cain's attitude, and his domestic policy, but he definitely needs work on his Foreign policy skills.
Keep up the good work with delusional articles like this. You people are being played like a violin by someone who really understands politics. This reminds me of the election in 1944. The Republicans started complaining Roosevelt was withholding support from MacArthur in the fall of '44. Roosevelt kept his mouth shut because he knew what was coming down the line. In October, MacArthur invaded the Philippines backed by the Third and Seventh Fleets. OOOPPS. Two weeks ago, the conservatives were complaining Obama was spending to much time playing golf and on the Oprah show instead of in Alabama. Also, The Donald was running his mouth about Obama not being born in America. Obama releases his birth certificate and gives the order to kill bin Laden. Obviously, he knew the bin Laden operation was in process. Please spare me the drivel he played politics with it. Like the invasion of the Philippines, these operations take time to play out and he waited. Good luck in convincing a majority of the independent voters Obama is somehow "un-American" and the extremist he his constantly portrayed on this site. You will need it.
I DVRed the debate, and I'm watching it now. I like a lot of what Ron Paul and Gary Johnson have to say; and yet, I think they go way too far on their isolationist foreign policy stances. If one of those guys had been President in the 1940s, the whole world would have fallen to Nazism and Communism. The world is a better place for the efforts of the USA in World War II and the Cold War. Nevertheless, I hope they stay around for awhile just so that they can make the arguments where I do agree with them (drastic reductions in the size, scope, spending, and regulatory authority of the Federal Government). Herman Cain? I have no idea why he's there. Pawlenty still strikes me as so incredibly bland, I can't understand why anyone would be excited about him. Santorum is an ok guy–but I just don't think he can bridge the gap between the social conservatives and the tea party movement–and that IMHO is the key to the GOP nomination.
The two potential candidates who can best bridge that gap? The women–Palin or Bachmann. They are the ones to watch. I hope that Huck stays out–if he does, then Sarah or Michele rate to pick up most of his potential voters.
Just think about this for a minute, why does Obama want to raise $1 billion to run for a job that pays only about $569,000 ($400,000 a year salary plus a $50,000 expense account, a $100,000 nontaxable travel account, and $19,000 for entertainment, not to mention full and free access to the White House for living quarters and all of the White House employees and services, including White House doctors, barbers, cooks, housekeeping, security etc. The President also gets use of Air Force One, Army One, Marine One, Navy One and Coast Guard One as well as Presidential limousines when on business. ) a year? For a 4 year term that's $2,276,000 plus perks, of course that's not to mention his $191,300 per year as a pension after he's done in the White House.
You really believe that?
He is still spiking the football.
The Next President Will Be…….?
I don't know.
I don't have the foggiest idea.
But I do know who it will NOT be.
Barrack Hussein Obama.
Hmmm.,hmmm, hmmm!
I am planning months of door to door. I cannot accept four more of Zero.
Paul just cannot articulate. Johnson has not a prayer. Cain is a breath of fresh air and won last night. Pawlenty seems too polished. Santorum seems like mini Trump. That is my wrap-up. Cain, Pawlenty and Santorum did have the best answers.
I was hoping for one candidate to just flat out announce to the world that he wascoming straight at Zero.
He's the puppet. The progressive/commie backers have an agenda that needs to be carried forward. Thats why he;s running and I bet the money is already there just waiting to be dispersed.
Plus his huge ego and narcisstic personality love the attention and he actually has no future as a businiess man or anything else except to "community organize" and anyone of us on this blogosphere can probably do that now.
Let's hope that the next President is a conservative.
The Precinct Chairperson is the most powerful person, politically, in the US.This has to be one of the most important programs of our time,it's time to get involved,actually it's past time,this next election will determine whether or not we as a nation are comfortable in chains now!
Please, oh please, I hope the Republican candidate accuses him of "spiking the football".
Obama only wants to further his communistic goals.
He is anti business Pro-Taxes and full government control over all business and personal matters!
He thinks people are stupid and need to be ruled.
Ah ha ha ha ha, whew, ha ha ha ha ha.
A CNN Opinion poll? Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha.
Does anyone watch CNN anymore?
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha
yes. it is always on at the airport.
Delusional is as delusional does… Strike a chord?
Ah well, I hope you keep thinking this way.
Let me explain something to you about 'history'. First, 90% of High School dropouts and graduates can't read their names. History is a word they can't possibly look up in a dictionary nor would they understand it or remember it if it was defifined to them orally.
Second, FDR doesn't have anything to do with $5.00 at the pump prices (probably $6.00 by 11-2012) and doesn't have anything to do with the 'real' unemployment rates of anywhere from 16 to 20 percent depending on where you live. Some places are up to 30 percent.
Good luck with that 'October' surprise thingy.
Americans are so yesterday with Obama and the arrogant and insensitive Democrats.
Keep on truckin' though, I'm sure you'll never run out of fuel.
CNN?
Snort!
When was the last time a CNN poll was conducted anywhere outside their editorial offices?
I see. So in two years American education took an enormous downhill slide. Now go look up "analogy" and "derivative based upon sub-prime mortgage" in the dictionary.
Naw, it took you Democrats several generations of waste, fraud and Union Abuse to destroy American education.
That would be under 'history'.
Get it?
To me it was a rhetorical question because I all ready had the notion that he's waiting for his puppeteer boss to start singing his tune a bit louder.
The question was to try to get others to ask, "Why?"
My mother started the precinct block parties in Los Angeles in the mid-late 1940's. It proved to be highly successful and around 1950 I well remember Dick Nixon bouncing me on his knee as by mother fixed a new pot of coffee for her guests. Her efforts got us two 50 yard line seats for the Rams games at the Colosseum and parking in the players tunnel, she and I were the football fans in the family. Fun reminiscing.
I share your pain. But, Mickey or Donald (Duck) could beat this shill for a President.
I am from Detroit, tell me about it. The last 50 years of the history of the city should be taught to every Democrat to educate them on their policies. Of course a recent study showed 47% of people in Detroit can't read.
Sarah Palin (I).
There is the next President, right there.
None of the ones on last night can win against Obama. Especially not T'Paw. He is definitely too polished, he has his down pat answers to everything. Most of the time, he doesn't really answer the question either. I like Cain but I don't think he can beat Obama.
Go West in 2012. Allen West for President, 2012.
No, he's not running. We The People are drafting him.
When I was a moderator at Grassfire, we called them "Paulies".
I agree with 80% of Paul's ideas. The other 20% scares hell out of me.
I won't be supporting him, UNLESS he wins the GOP primary.
A pet rock will get my vote over Obama, IF he even runs.
CNN consistently polls 10% MORE Democrats than Republicans.
Yeah, it is sad. Look up Oakland, CA school system. Jerry Brown was Mayor. He walked into a real (hard core) Communist nest there. I know some of the people (they actually do belong to the Communist Party).
The problem with people like HuskersLove… is they think we don't understand either 'analogy' or markets. Under his use of analogy (which by the way was terrible) any last second basketball game plan would apply to Obama's re-election strategy.
Good luck with that.
Not to mention that in their arrogance they believe they are the smartest people in the room.
Again, good luck with that. He/she (don't know) appears to be more reasonable than a Troll, so it is good to see the posts.
#1 reason.
It's not his money he's raising for the job.
This is what Socialists are good at, spending OTHER people's money.
2012 RALLY CRY – “BACK TO THE FUTURE – BACK TO GROUND ZERO”!
~~~
PART I –
The next President better do the following in order to get my vote!
1. DRILL baby…drill…and get us off foreign oil forever!
2. SECURE our borders as they should be!
3. FIX the immigration problems, once our borders are secure!
4. ASK for that 'original' birth certificate…to prove once and for all to “negate” each and everything he did and signed to take us back to ground zero.
5. STOP all funding to other countries UNTIL we get our own house in order!
PART II –
6. BRING all troops home from fighting the internal wars of individual countries.
7. REALIZE that our space program is our ticket to defense power and prestige in the world/science and reinstate it to where it was and should be.
8. STOP all entitlements to illegals!
9. THROW the UN out of America!
10. CUT THE SPENDING AND CUTBACK and start putting our own men/women to work IN America as it should be!
PART III–
11. ENCOURAGE Americans to BUY America on items made IN America!
12. APPOINT Constitutionalist judges to enforce the laws of our land!
13. GRANT more states’ rights…as provided by our Constitution…and get out of State business!
14. REVAMP the immigration policies of America…by not allowing anyone from a terrorist nation to enter our shores and endanger our land!
15. DECLARE that Islam is not a religion and confine their activity in America!
DebinFla contributes on 4/25/11…
16. Get the government out of education post haste
17. Impeach then deport Owebama to the 1st Muslim nation to take him.
18. Drastically reduce/eliminate all unconstitutional governmental agencies.
19. Repeal the Patriot act.
A man that will take all the BFF's of the Chameleon N' Chief and throw them under the bus where they belong! A man/woman that will reinstate the status of our old time allies…who stood with us through the years!
PART IV –
Here is MY ‘short’ list of candidates for either President and/or Vice President I am looking to vet…
Rep Michele Bachmann
Rep Paul Ryan
Rep Mike Pence
Rep Allen West
Rep Thaddeus McCotter
Rep Jason Chaffetz
Senator Jim DeMint
Senator Rand Paul
Citizen Herman Cain
Judge Roy Moore – contributed by Sicks7 4/25/11
Ambassador John Bolton – contributed by TalkingDust 4/26/11
Just to name a few good men/women who have stood up and spoken out…for a long time now…not just when it is going to be politically correct!
PART V –
And that is my 'wish' list with only one criterion…that they have been speaking up and speaking out for the last two years…not just AFTER the last two years. One who saw the danger from the start and spoke up to stop it.
Get it? I do…how about you?
~~~
WHY IS IT NO ONE IS INVESTIGATING WHY THE PUPPET OF THE BILDERBERG…OBAMA THE BUSH IS USING A CT SS# NUMBER WHEN HE HAS NEVER, EVER LIVED IN CT?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0oLIUT16ko0
Gee, aren't we surprised that Obama's lackeys in the press are calling him the winner. If you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you.
Well that leaves Obama out!
HMMM. Let's see. Since 1980, the democrats have controlled the White House for 10 years. It is all their fault.
I see. I assume the parents have nothing to do with it.
The only reason you thought my analogy was terrible is it hit you right where it counts.
What parents? Oh, you mean DFACS?
I don't think most of us are actually in love with ron paul. Like the OP said, 80% of his ideas are spot on but the remaining 20% is a clusterF* of scariness and naivity. I can't speak for everybody but for me ron Paul is exciting because he is a barometer of Americas acceptance of libertarian ideas (a politician i agree with 80% of the time is pretty exciting) and maybe, hopefully alternatives to the big 2 will sprout up more often. In my opinion, the biggest difference between libs and republicans is the places they overreach. One is no more concerned for liberty than the other.
This is like explaining the 'magic' of electricity to a savage. Or to use another analogy, like fishing in a small bucket filled with hungry fish.
No, silly, the Democrats have had control of our cities for the past 60 years. For the most part, and they have implemented Ward Heeling politics that results in 1) total dependence on the Federal Government and Non-government grants such as Community Development and HUD; and further back room smoke filled (until it became faddish to hate smoking) politics that would put Lenin to shame. Well, maybe not as Lenin could simply kill you if you disagreed with him. Rather than try to destroy your character.
So, the Democrats control of the White House has nothing to do with the Democrats control of our once clean and proud cities.
Been to SF lately? Looks a lot like Calcutta.
Do you smell voting machines serviced by SEIU workers?
But he would make a wonderful cabinet member over either treasury or commerce.
The Warrior in Chief…………
America………are you tired of watching this President wrap himself in and around the American flag to boost his ratings for election time while on the other hand he apologizes and defames America and its people to the world. The only President who comes close to this type of creepiness was Jimmy Carter and he ended up only serving one term. Lets hope this present one gets the same results! It is time we woke up because while we are "sleeping", writing our words of "wisdom" to each other, this President is plotting the demise of our great country and ushering in socialism/communism while telling us how great America and its people are! Wise up!
http://www.canadafreepress.com/index.php/site/com...
yes, Ron Paul, slasher of the military, foreign policy disaster….Ron Paul only shines in the eyes of his groupies!
Basil disagrees.
That just doesn't chive with what Cloves told me..
Are you saying that Ron Paul is a "good old boy?" For years, Paul was so far away from the center of power that he was almost invisible. Paul's ideas of actually reducing the size and reach of government and effectively increasing individual freedom were considered ludicrous by his colleagues. With the near destruction of our economy due to unlimited spending increases, his ideas have somehow advanced to the fore in the debate. Perhaps the public has finally perceived that the America we knew and loved is dissolving in the poisons of bloated government and never ending spending increases.
A Mickey/Donald ticket? Don't underestimate the power of 'Toonage
Yeah, I guess I put RP in the wrong grouping alright. He's alway kinda carried his own brand. How many times has he ran for president anyways? Maybe he could swing the voters during better times for a compasionate vote- awww let the poor 'ol man have a chance… I think personally his very compasionate followers should switch their enthusiasm to backing Rand Paul. They would be backing a man who conservatives could rally behind and bring a total of votes that would unquestionably obliterate Oblama.
According to a recent CNN poll, Ron Paul comes closer to beating Obama than any of the other GOP potential candidates.
Unfortunately, it will never happen because the entire election system is rigged. He'd never even get the Republican nomination. Even if he got elected there is a good chance he wouldn't survive due to the powerful interests that control western governments. The same ones that took down Kennedy.
Most might think he couldn't do much even if he did survive four years due to Congress not cooperating with him but just look at the power the corrupt modern American Presidents have. Sending troops in as they please. Making laws via Executive Order and through the vast bloated Executive bureaucracy. He could use that power in reverse and single handedly reverse all those unconstitutional orders and regulations that in essence illegal laws. He could bring the troops home and so much more. This is why he would never be allowed to attain the Presidency even if the majority of the populace wanted him.
The six families in the Mootsa Gootsa Society all support someone different. As free enterprise kicks in on the site things will change.
