Wisconsin Capitol Converted Into Hippie/Socialist Commune

A commune has been created within the Wisconsin state Capitol. People sleeping on the floor. Piles of pizza boxes stacked in the corner. Signs taped to the walls. A drum circle and Hyde Park-style Speaker’s Corner to air the latest rant. An area transformed – no joke – to medically treat protesters.
So the unions are not only leeches, but squatters as well.
The Lord of the Flies now resides in Madison, Wisconsin. This story, released by the MacIver Institute, reveals an actual makeshift organizational structure, complete with marshals that order people around. Capitol security stands idly by as the Capitol is overtaken by hippies and union goons.
This is coming to a Capitol near you, should your state decide to push bold reforms, as well.
But that’s precisely the point: Big Labor wants to show America exactly what will happen if other states attempt to curtail in spending. Wisconsin is the unions’ national example.

I've said this before as a semi joke, but I'm beginning to believe it's actually true: The United States will not have a chance to be made right again until the last person with a living memory of the 1960's is dead.
This is weird but I bet the stink is fairly oppressive. The organized Left is not into bathing and the fact that they have seized, limited the access to and used public property for housing doesn't strike me as a legal act in spite of what the cops says. Vandalism and Pot smoking are still illegal acts.

Not too worried about it here in Virginia. The pragmatic patriots here would not tolerate such nonsense. I also believe that Virginians have more self respect. The progressive socialist loons of Wisconsin do not have any shame and therefore believe that their actions are acceptable. They have not even considered that they are looked upon with contempt and loathing. If it were to happen here, I would be among the first of many to start grabbing the whiners by the ears and giving them the what-for they deserve. ; ) that’s just me though.
I hope that when they clear out someone gets in with a VIDEO CAMERA to show the filth of the left. It will need to broadcast far and wide to show how utterly depraved they are just like the inauguration and one nation. Those pictures still are awakening people to the slothful ways of the leftists.

I remember a hippie named Anna Bay Laurel who was on the Johnny Carson show 30 years ago. She was an advocate for bathing with fresh air and sunshine. Johnny was amused.
My question is, isnt this not only a safety and fire violation but also a hazard to the health of those who have to work there?? I would bet they are also bloking all the handicapped access and restricting the security areas normally set aside in case of emergency.
Also doesnt the capital building have a closing time? Most close and lock the doors so why arent the police ushering out these people? If they refuse arrest them for any number of multiple offenses listed above.
Most of them have been bused in by the unions and paid to be there, so it seems they have a lot of money to waste on this but they cant pay into their own health care.

As an Architect I have to deal with meeting building codes on a daily basis. The State Fire Marshall must be going nuts. Of course, I'm sure he backs the Union's position. Still, if something were to happen (like one of the Hippies trying to reheat some days old pizza over a burning washroom trash can) he would be in some serious doodoo.
Do they have a permit to hang things on the walls or to camp out? If any homeless person tried this they would be kicked out or arrested. These people are delusional and have a distorted self-deserving point-of- view.

During the last election and at local town hall meetings and city halls and public forums around the nation, small cities and large cities… concerned citizens young and old and banded together by a belief in smaller non-intrusive government and free choice for medical coverage. We too carried signs, we gathered peacefully and respectfully. We were impugned and attacked by the very people we see now in these videos and reports; we were physically assaulted and denied access to public forums and our local representatives.
What a difference a couple of years and hypocrisy makes. April 15th is just around the corner… just how many of these people/sheeple owe taxes, and… Will they pay them to help pay for all these government commitments?

Apparently, the capitol remains open so long as the assembly is in session. They will probably go home tonight, except the moonbats who hang by their heels sleep in closets with their heads turned backwards. It sounds like the governor is about to enforce some of the permit laws for assemblies, marches, and use of public property. Not real sure the liberal union cops will obey anyone but a union rep.
Start piping in Rush Limbaugh very loud for 3 hours followed by Hannity. At night Crank in FOXNews and treat these useful idiots like Noriega in Panama. Only instead of music give them 24/7 the things they really fear. Truth.

A few things:
1. Your Lord of the Flies reference makes no sense. The protesters can leave whenever they want; they're not trapped in the Capitol building, nor are they murdering or eating each other after extreme isolation from society.
2. There is little organizational structure in the Capitol other than "people handing out water bottles", "security directing people to which exits to use", "people handing out food" and "person with microphone who offers it to people who want to speak".
3. The Capitol building is public property. I see no reason why the people who pay for its upkeep are not allowed to stay in it during its hours of operation.
And someone said in the comments protesters are getting free pizza provided by the taxpayers. No, people order pizza for the protesters, either people there or citizens around the world. Don't worry, people aren't not starving thanks to you.

Zoning and habitation laws are in place in every town and city to limit the places where people can sleep for health and sanitation reasons. It's legal for citizens to be in the Capitol building when the legislature is in session. The legislature is in session. Therefore, it is legal.
