SEIU Renews Attack on Its $94 MILLION Creditor

Fresh off his health care reform victory, he’s renewing his attack on Bank of America, one of the banks SEIU and ACORN targeted during the foreclosure crisis and bank bailouts. Bank employees reportedly received a memo saying “that SEIU is ramping up a big attack on the banks again about derivatives,” according to sources.
What makes Stern’s attack particularly audacious is that, according to SEIU’s latest LM-2 financial report filed with the federal Department of Labor, the union currently has an outstanding loan of $94,578,779 from Bank of America. It has repaid a paltry $1,740,250.
In true SEIU (and ACORN) fashion, we’re willing to bet the union will be use its public besmirching of Bank of America to attempt renegotiate the terms of its loan, or better yet, have a bit of the massive debt waived.
If only the average Joe could treat corporate America, or the IRS, in such a way and reap the financial dividends. Alas, we’d end up in jail. Yet somehow SEIU or ACORN get away with using such tactics.
If Bank of America wants to eliminate this major thorn in its side, it should publicize how much money it has loaned to the union, and ask the public why this organization would treat one of its major funders so badly.
The bank could also pose another interesting question to the public – if Bank of America is such an awful entity, why did the morally superior SEIU stoop so low to do business with it?
Or better yet, the bank could call the terms of the loan, demanding immediate repayment. Andy Stern’s power trip and frequent visitor status to the White House would all come crashing down.
It would be refreshing to see Corporate America wake up for a change and defend itself against slimy characters like Stern, who are happy to use the bank’s money to further their goals, then turn around and stab the institution in the back long before repaying the loan.
The public deserves to see the entire picture. We wish Corporate America would find some pluck and give us the rest of the story.

Hmmm… Maybe a new direction for the Tea Party?
Andy's "cojones" are what will get him in big trouble. Each week the progressives take one step closer to civil war and at the pace he is pushing, it won't take long and the "British" will kill or seriously injure somebody on camera. Then we will see the "colonists" react in a way that will make Andy's "cojones" shrivel.

I have only had one home loan through B of A over the years…. Hum… if I recall if I was late there was a grace period, after that I was penalized. Maybe this is another example of the TWO AMERICA's.

Several corporations deserve a lot of blame for the mess we're in, but this cynical, hypocritical demonization of all big companies has got to stop. FDR did the same thing in the 1930s, and it killed any real recovery in employment for years.

Bank of America isnt smart or brave enough to take your advice-
They are in the right, however are too chicken harted and stupid to simply call in the terms of the loan.
They barley are able to handle accounts.
I work for a Mail Boxes Ect type store.
I had a customer request her acct info be faxed to my store for her in regards to a questionable charge.
In responce, Bank of America faxed someone eles' entire acct info, complete with checking acct numbers.
We called BOA, told them of the error, and they said they would send the correct info.
Instead they sent someone else's acct info again..twice!
It took three days to get the correct info.
At this point my customer had closed her acct and is no longer with BOA.
My only wish is that the faxes had customer phone #'s with them,
so that I could have called amd informed them that BOA was sending their personal acct info out to anyone who requested a fax.
I would LOVE to see BOA call that loan. I'm sure there is a provision in the loan docs which would allow them to do so. What a flippin' crook!

I currently have a credit card account with BoA. I Used to have checking and savings accounts with them, with a significant direct deposit occurring weekly. When I was shopping for a new home loan they appeared to be supremely unconcerned with maintaining my business.
When I went in to close my accounts they were suddenly concerned, sorry, too late…
When my replacement CC account matures I will cancel my BoA card.

See– this is how they game the system that they create– Bank of America can't really say anything because of financial privacy laws. They can't call the loan unless the loan terms allow it, and they probably don't. This is part of Andy Stern's plan. Attack someone who is legally or traditionally prevented from fighting back. They are well on their way to taking over. Remember when the o campaign had a 'glitch' in their 'on line' donations computer systems &
'co-incidentally', mysteriously, during the time the computers were not recording information from
'contributors' the campaign received unprecedented copious 'small increment' funds from unspec-
ified sources. At the time I just figured it was soros, or oprah infusing o's campaign with needed
cash, after they had already hit the legal limit. Also, there were hints that the saudis might have
been behind it. The media reported this 'glitch' & the enormous infusion of small donations,
but there was never a mention of an investigation or seizure of the 'malfunctioning' computers by the
FEC. I remember hearing that if the small donations were not co-incidental & by the way they were
unprecedented, that they had to have been perpetrated by a large institutional system, due to the
short duration of the transfer of such a large sum in small increments.
Call me a conspiracy nut, but you will not see me worrying one iota about Bank of America (who openly
challenged US law regarding opening accounts for illegals who did not furnish proper ID). In fact since
I'm 'out on a limb' already, I'll go even further & venture to opine that these SEIU protests were arranged
between SEIU & BoA, so as to give 'cover' to BoA for 'forgiving' these loans. Folks BoA can 'write off' a large
% of this loan, but questions would arise about their basis for doing so & Andy is perfectly willing & able to
provide that basis. Besides,do you really think that Stern would be leading an actual 'real' protest. I think
the 'loans' were actually donations by BoA to the o campaign, using a 'fairy dust loan' to SEIU as cover.

We get a semi-annuity type of payment at their newly determined retirement age from the gov't, and they keep our principal. Debt crisis eliminated and the American saver is screwed once again along with our heirs. The plan is already written up and I have seen it and posted it here already. My kids are pissed almost as much as I am. If they do this, a lot of early retirees (me included) will have to return to work to pay even more for this wasteful NANNY STATES reparations.
