Heads Up Talk Radio: The President’s Foot Soldiers Have Your Number
by Kyle OlsonNewsmax first reported that Organizing for America, the community organizing outfit under the auspices of the Democratic National Committee, has launched a plan to inundate talk radio shows with callers. The action will occur when a particular radio show is discussing ObamaCare.
This is an extension of OFA’s and Health Care for America Now’s campaign to flood last summer’s town hall meetings with union members and left-wing activists supporting Obama’s government takeover of health care.
The intent then, just as it is now, was to drown out average taxpayers showing up to voice their concerns or vent their frustrations. The intent is also to run out the clock on real debate and take a vote on health reform with as little resistance as possible.
HCAN and ACORN were busing non-constituents, some from as far as 200 miles away, to fill the seats and skew the crowd. It was to give the false impression that constituents really wanted ObamaCare.
But the result was even worse. HCAN and union members, particularly SEIU, were filling the seats which would have otherwise been occupied by the average person just getting out of work.
So, the campaign now is geared toward achieving the same result: flood different talk radio shows with left-wing activists and ObamaCare apologists. The OFA’s website has a talk radio du jour with a call-in number and “discussion points” – talking points for the latest version of the Democrats’ plan.
Be aware and be prepared, Talk Radio: The president’s got your number and his foot soldiers are coming for you.

I think Talk Radio is up to the task of defeating these robots.
Hah, when the DNC and ACORN have nothing left they send out their lemmings to have their arugments demolished and eviscerated on live, national radio. The best part is that we can record and document their idiocy for posterity and repeated re-use in the form of moronic sound-bites for advertisements.

Any of our conservative talk show hosts can and will spot and deal with these callers quickly. Any caller who said he was conservative and pro Obama HCR would go to the front of the line and be exposed as a phony. Bring it on.

Most of the talk shows I listen to are aware of this and actually wait for these people to call in just so they can tear them apart. They can't present a coherent argument because they have no understanding of the topic. All they can do is recite the talking points that are fed to them.

Non-Constituents infiltrating the townhalls could easily be monitored through an ID check for something as easily verifiable as an address. So if the Magic Negro can pick and choose who he wants present in St Louis there shouldn't be any controversy if a Congressman or Senator does the same.
I have heard talk show hosts HANG UP on these idiots as soon as they began their rantings….:) Talk Radio can handle itself!!! I have made attempts to contact congressmen through their web pages only to be required to be a constituent and/or registered in their voting district. The same should be required at these town hall meetings. Every person in attendance to these town hall meetings should be required to show that they are registered to vote in that representatives district. I believe this would curtail the busing in of union members from outside the district.
As long as this kind of harassment is allowed the left will continue to use it to intimidate those they disagree with.
Another option is to ensure that the seats at the meetings are taken before the buses get there. Let them walk around outside picketing like good little union drones and leave the thinking to those who actually care.

At first glance, this seems like a lame strategy. Talk radio has an advantage over the town-hall meetings: call screeners. You can't just bull your way in and start shouting.

The great thing about talk radio is if you want to make a point, you have to deal in facts, logic and some sort of common sense. Emotion and innuendo will get you no where except coming across as a bumbling idiot and further discrediting your argument. You want to point that gun it better be loaded. I only wish I knew *when* libs would be calling in to the Dennis Miller show (one of the shows listed on the OFA website), so I could be sure to listen…they wouldn't have a clue as to what hit them.

I don't give seminar callers long odds against the likes of Mark Levin and Rush.
Elections have consequences and we are seeing the consequences of the '08 elections. The government is now overrun with loons who know nothing of governing and everything about talking a good game. Those prople MUST be voted out in '10 and '12 or this country is doomed. And everybody who has been paying attention knows this. He is so right. The problem is that over the centuries the American people have forgotten that voting, while a "right", is not simply a privilege it's a responsibility. We the people, all of us, must get involved and make ourselves heard. Moreover we don't need "representatives" making law without us. Even more importantly we need to remind people like Pelosi, Reid and Obama that the power and authority they wield, their "just powers" are, according to the Declaration of Independence, derived from the consent of the governed. The government itself was founded by the people, from the people and for the people. Not the other way around.
The screener is what these OFA idiots have neglected to factor into their plan (unless they are just attempting a Denial-of-Service attack on the phone switch). If I were a conservative talk-show host, I would be thrilled with what OFA is attempting to do….should do wonders for listener counts.

The reason Obama keeps giving deadlines is because of Alinsky rule #7 – A tactic the drags on too long becomes a drag. In other words hurry up and pass the health care bill before it becomes a drag.
I agree with Max. I'm hoping they are listening to Thru the Bible(it is my Bible study program). It is one of the radio programs targeted. It is a prerecorded Bible study program that doesn't even have callers. Maybe they think it is the "enemy" because it has the word Bible in the title. Heh!! I'll be praying that we get some new listeners and they will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Didn't read up on the Big Plan, but maybe the idea isn't so much to get on the air, but just to flood the lines so that real Americans can't get through?

Don't even have to go as far as "sedition" although that is what they are doing. Just charge them with violating their Oath of Office which is enough to discredit them, remove them from office, and deny them any and all benefits that accrued including pensions, healthcare, etc. It would also place a federal conviction in their permanent record same as any military member convicted under a court martial.
Just think earmarks denied to "for profit" companies while leaving open all kinds of earmarks for "non-profits" like Organizing For America, Tides Foundation, ACORN, et.al.
