Further, if you look at the 2009 budget, which was signed into law by George Bush in 2008, initial deficit projections were for 700 B in deficits for 2009. Within 9 months after the 2008 stimulus, the collapse of the financial system, subsequent TARP bailout (again signed into law by Bush and 40 Republicans in Congress) and bad economy this projection swelled to 1.3 T and 8 T of 10-year projected structural deficits the day that Obama entered office. About a month or so later, the projections for that same 2009 budget swelled even further to 1.8 T (see graph on Heritage website http://blog.heritage.org/2009/03/24/bush-deficit-... graph). Again, that 2009 deficit was caused by a budget that George Bush signed into law in 2008. If the FBI were investigating this and dusted for fingerprints, his fingerprints would be all over it.

Further, they had the choice, then and there to cut somewhere else in the budget or to raise revenue through taxes, but chose not to do either and left the "tough" political decisions (i.e. should we kill the 7.5 T Medicare Plan D entitlement or raise taxes) to future congresses. This was undoubtedly, their undoing and they were voted out of office. But what made it so damaging is that many of these guys were the same ones that balanced the budget in the 1990's and they know how difficult it is to balance the budget. Yet, they proceeded to march to the piper and have left us with this mess.

Your reply doesn't address the inaccuracies in your original posting. You are attempting to obviscate addressing the inaccuracies of your initial posting with this one. Though it is indicative of the problem that we have with Democrats in control of congress and a Republican as a President or a Democrat as a president. Republicans strayed off of the path when Bush became president, mostly because he lead them there and hung them out to dry. But the Congresses between 2001 and 2004, were indeed the most damaging. Those were the ones that funded 2 wars, the new department of homeland security, Medicare Plan D and passed tax cuts, all of which were not paid for.

When you take the history and special place that God put them in being the "chosen race" i.e., for the eventual fulfillment of the birth of Messiah and protecting God's word, God had to make sure they did not intermarry. God had to have a "stiff necked" people to accomplish this purity of the Jews, for the lineage of Jesus. This was drilled into them from Moses to this day. Even though there are interfaith marriages (mainly secular) more today than any point in history with the Jews, they are still respectful to God to be a separate people unto Himself. It may be misinterpreted as racist, when in fact they are keeping God's Old Testament Law.
