Don't give them false information. That is a $500 fine and possible imprisonment. If you give incomplete, minimal, or no information, it is a $100 fine, max. That is according to their own website link.

Entire partner list, picking and pulling information is exactly what makes us look like loonies irritated we didn't get our way. We need leadership, real leadership! Instead we have people like this that manipulate information that is easily fact checked.

Of course Olson cherry-picked cooperating organizations in order to come up with a scary list. Follow his link and ask yourselves whether we should also be afraid that such radical organizations as the American Baptist Churches of the South , Boy Scouts of America, and the Coca-Cola Company have also agreed to encourage full participation in the Census.

And that's all it is, folks—encouraging full participation. The cooperating organizations do not help collect the data, they encourage people to cooperate with the government employees who do. That data is used by the U.S. Census Bureau for the same kinds of useful statistical compilations it has been producing for many, many years.

But of course the far-right needs a succession of silly strawmen to keep the ignorant and delusional suitably fearful and in line with policy positions that often work against their own self interest.

First off, the list above is not a complete list of all the partners – it's a list culled and limited to groups on the left. There are lots of partners who are on the right. Secondly, partners don't do the census. They won't have access to the data. They're only there to help get the word out and help to get people to participate so that they are fully represented in the data gathered. Concerns about the partners using the data are unfounded – they won't have access to the data.

If they show up at my door, I'll ask for their ID, address, phone #, what union they are affiliated with, do they own a gun, did they vote Dem or Repub, and do they have a REAL JOB? I'll be wearing MY gun, so they won't have to ask that question.
