It makes a huge difference when the democrats have immigration reform on the table this next year, right after energy taxes. In a normal year, one fruitcake immigration weirdo would be dangerous enough, but in this climate we can't afford it. We're just a couple of votes away in both houses from having 12 million more liberal voters.

This isn't the time for it, just as Chamberlain was a great prime minister but in the wrong place during WW2.
