I love the poem and the puppies. Thanks Senator, you give me hope that not all our congressmen are rotten. There are still a few who cannot be bought or sold. I believe that by now, all the congressmen know this is a lousy bill. We'll see now, who really has the will of the people in mind or do they fear the anger of Obama, Reid and Nancy, more.

But I could not catch the Holiday spirit myself,How far away from common sense we've been led, our kids and grand kids have their futures to dread.

I agree with kooz! Any senator that opposes this legislation without doing everything legal to stop it should be voted out of office with the supporters. This is not one of those bills where the senators have a mundane debate, vote and then all retire for a glass of sherry. This one should be making mortal enemies of the traitors trying to ram it down our throats. The supporters of this monstrosity know their political days are numbered by supporting it. So also should the minority of senators who actually represent the huge majority of Americans who don't want this bill.

Call your senators, this IS having an affect on them. Reid may not have the votes and if we keep the pressure up they will listen. Be polite but firm. Do not support this bill or you will not be a senator after next year.
Call the DC office and the local office. Demand that the staffer take your name and your objection.
Be prepared it will take time, you will get busy signals and spend time on hold. Take vacation day to do this if you must!
Tell you friends and relatives to do so also. Tell people you meet on the streets to do this.

They will do the will of the people if the people make their will known.
This disaster must be stopped! Our freedoms and our children's freedoms are at stake! Think about it this way, they say they may be one vote away, that means if we just turn one senator this can change the whole future of this country, and if that one senator may be just one phone call from a no vote and that means your call may be the one that is needed to preserve liberty and turn this country away from tyranny!

Our prayers are being answered in a very tangible way. The snow storm may slow this down long enough that the bill will be shown to the public. God did very well in HopenChangen, big early snow that I know is a sign of global warming. The earth gets so hot that it translates into snow, yeah the people will buy that.

There was a cap on what they could charge in the house bill until the Blue Dogs and the Republicans in the Senate demanded it be stripped out.
