Call to Arms: Join Me in DC Saturday to Stop ObamaCare
by Jon VoightI am calling to all of you freedom-loving Americans to come once again to Washington D.C. to gather at upper Senate Park, across from the Capitol on Saturday, at 12 o’clock noon.
We must come by the thousands.
Speaker Pelosi will stop at nothing to fulfill her corrupt conquests. She will bring all of the corrupt ACORN liars to try to bully all the Democrats that may be having pangs of guilt knowing quite surely what their votes can and will do. If they’re bullied into saying “yes,” it will destroy America.
Join me and Rep. Michele Bachmann in Washington DC at 12 noon EST so we can give all the Democrats who know what the end result will be the courage to say: “No, do not pass this destructive bill.”

I have seen alot.
I watched as John F. Kennedy was assasinated. Saw Vietnam and south east asia uo close and personal. Watched Martin Luther King and Bobby Kennedy cut down in their prime; watched Watergate unfold and watched Nixon resign in disgrace. Witnessed both Gulf Wars unfold, and watched another President almost brought down, and at least brought to his knees by a blue dress. I watched as the first black man was elected as President, and remember thinking to myself at the time, "we sure have come far."
I never thought I would live to see the America that I love, that I fought for, that I put my life on the line for, be on the verge of unravelling, from within.
And so the next step begins. Take cameras, take many cameras. Take cameras that you can hide and cameras that can be seen. Expect trouble, expect the Statist slaves to be fooled into beginning something that they will try to blame on the rest of us. Expect violence from the Left and pray it does not happen.
I so wish I can make it there, and i would, but I can't afford it! I will be there in spirit though and I'll also look for videos so that I can feel the warm fire blare within me, knowing that I'm not alone and also that those that do go, are doing so for all of us! Fairfax County Supervisor Pat Herrity is organizing a "Hands OFF My Healthcare" rally tomorrow, Friday, March 19th, at George Mason University, Patriot Center, 4400 University Drive, Fairfax, VA 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM. Obama will be there doing his best Elmer Gantry (although he thinks he's LeBron James!) to sell his Marxist garbage.

March all you like if you find it makes you feel better emotionally but this stopped being about healthcare or pragmatic politics a long time ago. We stopped being relevant to our government quite a while ago your votes don't matter to them because for every one educated voter who says "enough" there are three uneducated voters with their hands out saying "more".

About a month or so ago, Eric Haymes and Gary Graham had the following threads here, pandering for funds. For jet fuel, for hand outs, to help the Haitian earthquake victims. I'd challange them both to step up to the plate now, and join with Mr. Voight. It might be about time that those in Hollywood do something to help America for once.

Why not save the time and money and use it to help organize in your own district and work to elect conservatives to kick all the bums out in the fall? We can do both and getting together helps us to feel connected and know we are not alone. There is unity in the group and we share and learn from each other. Every time we get a car honking it helps. Every time a stranger walks up to ask why we are doing this we get an opportunity to get another citizen engaged. Last fall I went 25 miles to picket at a state reps office with only my daughter. We were the first ones there. Within an hour there were 30 folks with signs but cars stopping had brought another 50 who joined the e-mail lists for Tea Party Patriots and 9/12 groups. Now we are all communicating. This is an excellent investment of a couple of hours and a bit of gas in my opinion.

Mr. Voight has been speaking out against the radical left for a while. He, unlike many of his hollywood associates, has realized that his wonderful living is because of the kindness of people willing and able to plunk down $10.00 to see his craft. He also realized that the lifestyle he's lived could only have happened in America. What amazes me is how so many of the hollywood crowd can't seem to grasp that simple concept. Don't they understand that they, and their craft will be the first thing to go under the very form of government they think they want, without really understanding it? They will be making (state approved) movies. The time of artistic freedom will be a thing of the past. Art (shall) be, what the state says it is. Think not?, read real history, not the leftist drivel taught in many of our children's schools, and in most colleges. The cancer in America isn't small, and it's going to take radical surgery to remove it, it's also going to take time, probably 3 or 4 election cycles till we weed out those, in it for themselves, and elect men and women with character, proven character. This time it's really up to us. We the people must act as one and get involved at every level. What happened in Texas is proof that there are people who do care about America, and these people should be applauded.

is anyone here like me– I have supported these kinds of public demonstrations, but have never personally attended them for one reason or another (mostly due to work & family obligations)– I'd say this one is more than worth the effort here– this is a huge one they are trying to put over on us– count me as a YES for attending! And you Congressional representatives from Virginia, you all had better vote NO on this debacle– or you will all be recalled home in November!
