We can do both and getting together helps us to feel connected and know we are not alone. There is unity in the group and we share and learn from each other. Every time we get a car honking it helps. Every time a stranger walks up to ask why we are doing this we get an opportunity to get another citizen engaged. Last fall I went 25 miles to picket at a state reps office with only my daughter. We were the first ones there. Within an hour there were 30 folks with signs but cars stopping had brought another 50 who joined the e-mail lists for Tea Party Patriots and 9/12 groups. Now we are all communicating. This is an excellent investment of a couple of hours and a bit of gas in my opinion.

Mr. Voight has been speaking out against the radical left for a while. He, unlike many of his hollywood associates, has realized that his wonderful living is because of the kindness of people willing and able to plunk down $10.00 to see his craft. He also realized that the lifestyle he's lived could only have happened in America. What amazes me is how so many of the hollywood crowd can't seem to grasp that simple concept. Don't they understand that they, and their craft will be the first thing to go under the very form of government they think they want, without really understanding it? They will be making (state approved) movies. The time of artistic freedom will be a thing of the past. Art (shall) be, what the state says it is. Think not?, read real history, not the leftist drivel taught in many of our children's schools, and in most colleges. The cancer in America isn't small, and it's going to take radical surgery to remove it, it's also going to take time, probably 3 or 4 election cycles till we weed out those, in it for themselves, and elect men and women with character, proven character. This time it's really up to us. We the people must act as one and get involved at every level. What happened in Texas is proof that there are people who do care about America, and these people should be applauded.

Can anyone tell me why Obama is nationalizing higher ed. school loans in this health care bill? What does that have to do with health care? How about the pork? The misstatement of the CBO estimates?

Is he setting up a massive future-directed Affirmative Action system by which the government decides who will go to medical school, who will go to college, who will be a technician, and who gets nothing at all?

Is there a hidden agenda that we will be told what to weigh, what to eat, when to exercise, who will take care of us, and so on?

What about the separate but equal linguistically and culturally correct parallel health care system that the bill sets up? And the shift in funding to get this apartheid health program up and running?

What about the veterans' benefits that will be decided by the Treasury Dept. Dept. of Obamacare, and Sec. of Defense. Will he institute income-based care rationing via the VA? Or class-based?

To the commies, yes, I read the bill a few months ago. It is no treat. The guy is a criminal, and so is Congress.

I'm among those who simply can't afford the trip to Washington right now but I will be praying for us all. I appeal to all of you out there- if you do have the recources, please, please nothing could put them to better use than going to Washington Saturday. And nothing could be more important, litterally.

A crowd of "epic" proportions could in fact scare the "devil" out of some of these Dems… and we only need a precious few changed minds.

So we now come to the question of “How can mankind be led to Reason and Virtue?” where, for most, the
answer to this question will be less than adequate since we are working to define the principle of Reason
and Virtue to attain Truth such that it can be applied to the concept of governance over people. Since we are
not exploring this concept in detail, and we are assuming that these truths are based on self evidence, it will
be up to the reader to explore the details of the following principles we will explore. But of all the principles
derived from these articles, the following will be the most telling since what we considered to be self evident
during our time in the late 1700’s is now somehow lost among those whom would cheer the advancement of
progress at the expense of liberty and freedom. Where the language does not have the meaning it did in the
1700’s when we wrote the founding documents, because of the progression of time, the language has
changed, but the Natural Laws that govern men have not. Such that there are actually two methods that can
be used to govern the Nature of Mankind such that the Principles of Freewill, Principles of Political Power,
Principles of Conflict and Justice and the Principles of Reason and Virtue are played out within the context of
society. The first method is the one that we have, as Founding Fathers, the most alignment with and that is
the assumption that, as a species, mankind has it within them self the self awareness to make the right
choices given the right environment; and no government has the knowledge to best understand and
implement what a group of individuals need or require to live a life of prosperity and happiness. This concept
of Natural Law is derived from the philosophies of Socrates, Aristotle, John Locke and Charles Montesquieu;
plus many more.9 Where we can articulate these philosophies most closely align to the concept of liberalism
as defined in the late 1700s and early 1800s, but this concept is also known as conservatism, libertarianism,
realism or individualism in the 21st century.10 This philosophy is rooted in the basis of Socrates’ first premise
of understanding that mankind, due to the fallibility of our senses, is ignorant within the context of any
situation and to know the truth of a situation we first must claim ignorance before we can achieve the truth.

be clear that the current state of affairs of our society today would be equivalent to a ballet between the two
philosophies of idealism and materialism, with governmental interference on the behalf of big business to
define the economy (idealism) verses the social justice pursued by the government through ever expanding
social programs and the relentless pursuit to define and market the concept of differing classes that consist
of the poor, the working class and the rich (materialism). As this power struggle unfolds the sides hold more
desperately to their idealistic and materialistic philosophies further moving to the negative principles of
Freewill, Political Power, Conflict & Justice and Reason & Virtue. Within this context we find the moral fabric
of the society being led along the line of Reason & Vice instead of Reason & Virtue. In the end, those
individuals that have been educated in the principles of Reason & Virtue and how they support liberty and
freedom are left feeling confused and desperate to align their perceived reality to the reality of the
idealist/materialist. In this world, many things are not aligned, the individual will have an under lying sense
and feeling in life that “something is not right” that “something is amiss” but they are unable to identify it.

#1 – Human Character requires the balance of Reason and Virtue

The reason for the growing anger in America has a source. That source occupies the White House and Congress. It is very discouraging that so many hard working, good people now fear that the enemy of our country is our crooked, lying, manipulative leaders in Washington. It may be that we will have to exercise the strength of the people and our constitutional States rights to save this great nation. We have seen without reservation, time and time again, that this administration does not listen to it's people. I've also thought of this, they may just stall till middle week. Hope there will be some with

This weekend they are busing in thousands of illegals to D.C to demand rights.

President Barack Obama, facing criticism from advocates of immigration reform, pledged Thursday "to do everything in my power" to get immigration legislation moving in Congress this year.

Obama said work on an immigration bill should move forward based on an outline released Thursday by Sens. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.

"A critical next step will be to translate their framework into a legislative proposal, and for Congress to act at the earliest possible opportunity," Obama said.

The outline calls for illegal immigrants to admit they broke the law, pay a fine and back taxes, and perform community service if they want to get on a pathway to legal status. They would also be required to pass background checks and be proficient in English.

"I congratulate Sens. Schumer and Graham for their leadership, and pledge to do everything in my power to forge a bipartisan consensus this year on this important issue so we can continue to move forward on comprehensive immigration reform," Obama said.

Obama's statement and the senators' outline were timed for release before a march and rally Sunday that is expected to draw tens of thousands of people to Washington to press the administration and Congress for immigration reform.

Immigrants and their supporters have grown frustrated as the Obama administration has continued to detain and deport immigrants while immigration reform remains dormant. Obama had promised to make it a top priority in his first year in office.

Hoping to temper the percolating discontent, Obama held two separate meetings last week with grass-roots immigration leaders as well as Schumer and Graham. The president assured the leaders at the meeting that he remains committed to reform.

Obama met Thursday at the White House with Reps. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill., and Solomon Ortiz, D-Texas, the sponsors of a House immigration bill. Gutierrez said later he agreed to vote for Obama's signature domestic bill, health care reform, only if an immigration bill advanced quickly and with a presidential imprimatur. The Congressional Hispanic Caucus also endorsed the health care bill.

"I'm committed to voting for this health care bill on that basis," Gutierrez said. "I want the president to be in lockstep with us, which I believe he was during the campaign."

White House spokesman Reid Cherlin said there was no quid pro quo involved in the White House's dealings with Gutierrez.

"Congressman Gutierrez is a longtime leader of the reform effort on the Hill, so of course they've had many conversations about it, and they'll continue to," Cherlin said.

Other parts of the Schumer-Graham outline include:

—Giving legal permanent residence to people who graduate with doctoral or master's degrees from U.S. universities.

—Adopting zero tolerance for illegal immigrants who commit crimes and expanding enforcement of immigration laws.

—Creating a flexible legal immigration system that brings in more low-skilled workers when jobs are available and fewer in a recession.

—Requiring all U.S. workers — citizens and legal immigrants — to get fraud-proof Social Security cards with a biometric identifier.

Hope all those media types can afford mondo security, as I think they will be
in danger once this shakes out, either way. They shirked their responsibility
as the unofficial 4th branch of government. I don't think they will go quietly.

I wish you all the best, however I think it is too late to stop what is happening. I left the US over a year ago and now live in the Philippines because I could not live in a socialist nation. This expansion of federal government is not new.As a historian I study factual historical events and I consider the first real damage done to our constitution was by Abraham Lincon. Lincon had already made it clear the south could keep their slaves he did not want any new slave states added to the union. The civil war was not about slavery it was about the expansion of the federal government beyond its constitutional bounds. Our constitution has been under vicious attack since that time. Most people do not realize why the 2nd amendment is in the constitution but it was so states and citizens could control a federal government that our founders new would bend to greed of power. I think what our founders did not count on was a people who did not care until it was so far out of hand. As I said I wish you luck but these socialist will not go down without a fight and I don't think the American people are up to the challenge. I mean you were crying about Iraq not that long ago. Iraq is a war that in 4 years we had something around 3000 casualties. If you had asked any American general ever, from Patton to Bradley if they could sustain a war effort for 4 years and only sustain 30,000 casualties they would have been overjoyed. I think the American people have lost the spirit of who we are and where we came from. Over 50% of people surveyed in the US said we should strive to be more like the UK or France basically saying they would like to align with the EU. I left my country because I just don't believe that there is much more than a bar fight left in the people and it will take a lot more if you want to defeat these people.

Am I missing something but I thought there would be a lot more coverage from Fox Nation or fox news.com… I've been searching but all I can find is somebody holding a camera streaming inaudible audio. I'm very disappointed, maybe fox news is streaming something as I don't get fox news, unfortunately… I also thought Shawn Hannity, Rush, and Glenn Beck would be present on Saturday.. Just very disappointed as they were the ones getting everyone excited about a rally and from what I've seen there isn't many people there.

Hi Jon – Enjoyed your visit with Governor Huckabee, and your moving letter to Americans. We're in a tough spot, and I believe strongly that Obama is trying to figure a way to impose martial law and suspend the fall elections. I am not a nut, but he is so radical that this is not as far-fetched as it seems. This would give him the 'right' [in his mind] to kill any talk of any opposing view point – they never thought it would happen in Venezuela.
