My Congressman Is Nuts: Alan Grayson Edition

The man who delighted in claiming Republicans want the sick to die to save the taxpayers money, was so proud of his obnoxiousness that he started a website to celebrate himself, www.congressmanwithguts.com.
No sooner did his self promotion tour get off the ground before his mouth got some more attention, calling one of Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke’s aids a “K Street whore.” After 24 hours of defending the outrageously out-of-bounds slur, and after pretty candid criticism from his fellow Democrats, Mr. Manners finally apologized.
Unfortunately, Republicans have not been successful in landing a top tier candidate to challenge Grayson who is representing a traditionally Republican district. Beating him should not be hard but the top three recruits for the race have taken a pass. Probably to avoid having to climb down into the gutter with Grayson.
Fortunately, some Orange County Florida residents have found another way for us to channel our discuss – while mocking Grayson. They’ve launched a website, www.MyCongressmanIsNuts.com.
Do yourself a favor – no do us all a favor – and visit it. And while you are there, make a contribution. The site is devoted to raising money for an independent expenditure campaign to defeat Alan Grayson.
Assuming Republicans land a decent candidate, they can focus on introducing themselves to Central Florida and the good folks behind MyCongressmanIsNuts can help remind voters of the 8th District what a moron they have representing them in Congress.

Good luck, and glad to see this. I had decided that, since this obnoxious, hate-filled person was selected to be representative of the district, that I would have no interest in vacationing there. Who would want to go where they are considered the enemy of the country? Granted, my kids are getting a little old for Disney World, but Grayson has put the destination out of consideration.

Congressman with guts? I saw him run away from a nerdy Fox news reporter, telling him to make an appointment with his press secretary. Apparently, this tool likes to swing through back doors and duck and dive face to face confrontation of all sorts. This man, if you can call him that, has no guts. He doesn't have a spine either. It is sad, but people like Grayson, Barbara Boxer, Maxine Waters, Barney Frank, etc. have one great advantage; namely, that the people they represent are even more stupid than they are. I'm not throwing stones here. I live in Illinois, where we have enough idiots to elect Barak Obama, Dick Durbin, and Rod B. Although we can take solice in knowing that those people were elected on the backs of live and dead Chicago people, not the ones of us with sense in southern Illinois.

Fox tried to make an appointment, many times over and he wouldn't give them one! Not only that, but he called the Capital police on them ( they came and found nothing wrong and told him so ), hiding in his office until 7:30 P.M., which is when Fox caught him in the hall.

my family visits Orlando every year in February for a huge equipment auction that occurs there…we generally rent a house for 2-3 weeks and of course go to the parks there…my husband will go this year but I have canceled our plans to go this year as I will not spend one penny in an area that is represented by this disgusting person. I guess he forgot that Fox News viewers and Republicans take vacations. For an area dependent on tourism…is this how you all are selling your city?

The nut ran on a platform of big government spending reform, yet his posted expenses for his legislative office overhead and staff are $449,000 for FY 2010. In contrast Bill Posey, R- FL15 (East central coast), will run his office on $268,000 for the year. So much for fiscal responsibility. Even Barney Frank and Charley Rangel will each run theirs for $100K less this year than Grayson!
