The racist regime that destroyed him viewed him as a threat because of his simple credo: “I write what I like.” Biko understood that freedom of thought and expression were the greatest weapons against tyranny.

Last week, my opponent, Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL), called on me to denounce Andrew Breitbart and to end any further association with his website, BigGovernment.com.
Her attack was typical of a corrupt Washington elite that believes it is entitled to tell people what to say and where to say it. It was that kind of behavior that convinced me to run against Schakowsky to begin with, after she collaborated with paid organizers in shutting down questions from constituents at her town hall meeting last August.
For the record, Schakowsky blogs at the Huffington Post, as does her husband, convicted felon Robert Creamer. She spoke this past weekend at Netroots Nation, a conference for left-wing bloggers. I have never once demanded that she stop blogging or expressing her point of view, though I disagree with her and some of her colleagues.
I write what I like, and so do Schakowsky and Creamer.My freedom has the same value as theirs. The First Amendment is not a perk for members of Congress and their spouses. That is the greatness of America, and one of the many reasons I am proud to be an American.
Schakowsky has lashed out because my campaign has turned her “safe seat” into a competitive one. Her radical policies have killed jobs in our district, and even Democrats are tired of her bullying style of politics. My blogs have exposed her role in the corrupt ShoreBank bailout, and her husband’s role in planning the Democrats’ health care push.
As for race–my experience in working with black communities, both in the U.S. and as a Rotary scholar in South Africa, has taught me that a growing economy is the best way to improve tolerance and race relations. Conversely, when government grows, and jobs in the private sector disappear, life becomes a zero-sum game and tensions increase.
The Obama administration has adopted policies and rhetoric that are calculated to divide Americans. It threw Shirley Sherrod under the bus to preserve its cynical campaign of defamation against the Tea Party. Andrew’s provocative role was to show that the victims of racial politics are often the very people it is supposed to benefit.
I believe that Andrew should have been more careful in his choice of words, and I told him that. But he was not the one who fired Ms. Sherrod without a full or fair investigation. The proper address for that complaint is 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20500.

I fear for the lives of Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and Michelle Malkin, the left is not above political assassinations and I could easily see one of the Chairman's radicals doing just that.

Granted, Andrew might have gone about that in a left handed manner last week, a year ago some folks knew about him. Right now, everyone does and his name is a household word. There is nothing wrong with free press, and the best kind of press, is still free.
One could argue Van Jones, who was quietly sent with his bags packed on a Saturday night of a long weekend.
General McChrystal may be another because his staff wasn't politically correct enough.
Ms. Sherrod was a casualty, of course, in her own way.
I've been predicting for a while that Secretary Geithner or General Holder might go.
I personally think Secretary Vilsack is a goner, sooner rather than later.

He put it out there, I reread the piece, he mentioned it seemed bad but didn't have the whole tape and wanted to talk more about the second piece about her Marxist views. So I hope Breitbart never apologizes or does so with some severe look in the mirror caveats!

This is the exact issue I was addressing in this comment from yesterday:
Most people aren't looking at the bigger picture. They're crashing the system globally. But the only way they can get away with it is if they create civil unrest. They have to have chaos to serve as their diversion. So they choose ONLY the MOST divisive policies and positions and jam them down our throats. That starts everyone fighting. Sue Arizona. For "principled" reasons? No. To create division. Create chaos. Create a new "outrage" every day. So divide this country that you can get away with just about anything because we're all too busy fighting amongst ourselves.
As long as they can keep us in this haze, they're gonna win. Every socialist/communist takeover starts with civil unrest. Never before tried on a global stage until the globalist stooge took the White House.
We have to break the cycle of chaos. I keep waiting for the "adults" to show up in leadership to spank these children for making such a mess. But I don't think we can wait that long. If they divide us enough, if they keep us all angry (righteously or unrighteously) even good leadership won't be able to fix it. It would take a generation. We need to start talking about and promoting all the things that STILL WORK in this country. Do exposes on private charity programs that actually work. Show examples where people of different races live and work together in complete harmony and respect. (they do exist) I actually hoped that BigPeace was going to be about that. But maybe we need a "BigCharity," or better yet, a "BigPeople" website to focus us a little bit on the things that work, to unite on some "solutions," and to extricate ourselves from some of the chaos that the "internationalist-socialist" CONTINUES to create.

Mr. Sherrod graduated from Union Theological Seminary with a masters in theology. One of UTS current faculty members; Mr. James H. Cone is widely accepted as– "Jeremiah Wright’s spiritual mentor, in “black liberation theology". Breitbart needs to trace the origins of that video, or maybe he already knows the origin.
